Apex Oaks

Apex Oaks of Cypress is a wonderful place. The staff takes excellent care of my husband. I'm allowed to visit any time. I'm very pleased with my choice.

Apex Oaks is everything I was looking for. The staff is friendly and kind. The facility is clean and small. It is close to my home. My husband has a private room. There are no animals.

Simply not true the previous Maybel reviews. Apex specializes in individual care and activities geared for the residents. Communication with families are proactive and gives a sense of knowledge of what is going on with your loved one. The activities include making bracelets or trivia, exercise, or specific events during the month. You can see for yourself by the pictures on Facebook and website. Or go observe for yourself. Great place for your loved one.

I visited this place and it was beautiful and the staff very friendly. I was looking for an assisted living and unfortunately for now they only offer memory care and the assisted living is soon to follow. If you are looking for a memory care I would highly recommend it.

The staff were all very cordial, helpful and encouraging. The philosophy of Apex is to encourage the residents to be active and to get better. They have a really good activity director who always has something for the residents to do. Yes I would recommend Apex to others.

No place is perfect, but Apex is superior, as a memory-care facility, compared to others we visited. A chief advantage is its relatively small size. It has two cottages with (I think) 18 residents per cottage. And, the configuration of each cottage is good, with the rooms situated in a circle around a central area. This makes it easier for staff to monitor individual resident activities at night. During most of the day, almost all of the residents are monitored in activities, which seem to be well-designed and thoughtful. Rooms are adequately sized, and maintenance and cleanliness is good and consistent. Meals are good, served in small dining areas in each cottage. The administrative staff is courteous, very friendly, and efficient. Best of all, almost all of the aides and medtechs are skilled, experienced, and kind to the residents. I have frequently observed their activities through cameras in my relative's room. Most importantly, the staff seem to have excellent work and personal ethics. I would definitely recommend Apex to anyone.

Very caring staff. Lots of activities for residents. They also try to include families when possible. Other than a couple of facility(air conditioner) issues, we have no complaints.

We are very pleased with Apex as a memory care facility. The administration and staff are professional, skilled, knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly.

If you’re looking for a small assisted living facility where your loved one will receive personalized care, Apex Oaks is a very nice place. The facility is well managed; the staff are professional and caring and the residents seem happy. The home is bright, cheerful and clean. I suppose it’s difficult to come up with activities for memory care residents, but that is one opportunity for improvement.

The marketing director and direct care staff were very friendly. I did notice a bad smell when entering the community. Resident rooms were very small.

Stay Away. Don't even consider this community. The overall from the staff to the care taking. I'm not sure if some of the staff could pass the It is a small community and I would expect them to do better, and they are not. The food is not good and cold. The cleaning is horrible, they don't empty the trash or keep the bath area clean. I have had to remind them to clean the rooms. The billing is never correct.
