I don't think there was anything specifically I could say that they can improve on. What I would say is that the staff was very helpful to my father with his overall care. I felt he was taken care of very well and the staff really cared about his well-being. Overall I was very happy that he was there as opposed to another place.

So far everything has gone very well at Emeritus at Meadowlark. I don't have any other facilities to compare it to, but I am entirely satisfied by what they've provided. It's always clean, the laundry gets done on time, and my loved one has had good things to say about the food. I'd recommend to others looking into senior living in the area.

They've done an absolutely fabulous job at Emeritus at Orchard Park! I'd give them a 10 out of 5 if I could! The staff are very friendly, professional, and conscientious. They get in touch with you right away if anything goes wrong, and keep you in the loop about your loved ones care. And Mom absolutely loves it! She was excited about moving here, which was a big load off of my mind! I would recommend them to anyone looking into senior care, they are a great place!

My mother really likes this place. The employees are great, food fantastic, service is awesome. If I ever need a place this is where I want to go!!

We are very pleased with the staff and the total environment. You are treated with respect, dignity and love. The staff is the best I have ever seen and dealt with. Just a wonderful place for my Aunt. I would live here myself.

It's pretty expensive. We're struggling to keep my mom in there right now. I don't have much to comapre it to, but it seems pretty good tous. We'll see how it goes.

Beautiful facility - cannot afford memory care. Helpful resource

My mother only was here a relatively short time but Sequoia Springs worked very hard to make her stay here comfortable and welcoming. From introducing her to other residents, to helping with a hospital release, and making her comfortable in her final days, they were part of her advocacy team. We had another parent in another well-known larger facility and Sequoia's individualized approach was a big plus. There's a lot to be said for smaller facility where everyone knows everyone, residents and staff alike. I highly recommend Sequoia.

My mother and father moved into Sequoia Springs the summer of 2016. My father passed away in January 2017, and my mom continues to live there today. She is happy, content, and feels very secure in her living environment. Though she sometimes complains about the meals, this would happen wherever she was living. I live just down the street and was able to visit her 3 or 4 times a week until this March, when the facility locked down because of COVID. It has been such a relief that they have taken such great care of everyone during this health crisis. The facility offers many activities, though my mother doesn’t often join in. She is content, happy and well looked after.

Sequoia Springs is a perfect place for Mom. Right from the first contact, folks have been caring, attentive, professional and polite. Having piece of mind that Mom remains independent in her own cottage, and also well cared for, is exactly what we were looking for. Her living situation is the best of both worlds. I am confident that if a need arises, staff will be there to support her. Mom's independence is paramount. I am grateful that Sequoia Springs offers the opportunity for Mom to remain as independent as possible, and supported as necessary. I could not ask for a better living situation for her.

Because of the staff, from management to care givers my mother's passing was beautiful and peaceful. They walked me through the process and were so respectful of my mother and the family that they became family. They are so kind, so caring and so loving. It brought me to tears to see how they took care of her. Always talking to her and telling her what they were going to do even though nobody really knows if they can hear...well let me tell you ...they can hear to the end. Thank you so much for letting my mom "come home under hospice". You are all a blessing and i will never forget, no matter where my life takes me you will always be a part of her passing.

I came in on a weekend and initially I was a bit frustrated by lack of someone to really walk me through the cottage and show me how things worked. There was only a very cursory walk through. Since then I have received more paperwork detailing what I needed to know. There is a Cottage Council which helps coordinate between the cottage residents and management. We have been given access to one of the vacant cottages as a clubhouse so we are planning activities to bring the cottage folks together as a community. Apparently there have been some issues with maintenance but I have no info on that. I haven't participated in much in activities at the main building but both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were very good.

I chose this facility because of the independent living facility. Individual cottages and pet friendly. I haven't used any of the main building services, other than meal delivery. Pricing for the cottages is competitive. The grounds are attractive and well maintained.

The community seems to be responsible and respectful. The hardest part is making a judgement call due to the pandemic. I have nothing to compare it too. I feel their hands are tied due to the restrictions from the pandemic.

It a nice community and they have their own room and privacy. The staff is very friendly and I would recommend this community to others when covid is under control.

My mother, age 100+, decided on her own to take the step of moving from independent living to a senior facility. She has resided at Siskiyou Springs for 3+ years and lives in a 1-bedroom apartment. She is well cared for, although she still lives pretty much independently not needing "assistance" of any type. Residents are well fed in a communal setting and have a variety of activities in which they can participate. The facility employees are friendly and truly care for their "charges." Outside entertainment is brought in which is a nice addition. Also, prior to COVID, residents could partake of weekly field trips to Wal Mart, Raley's, and outside restaurants. Hopefully these trips can resume in the near future. Mom feels secure and happy at Siskiyou Springs, which takes a burden of worry off of me, her daughter.

We moved my Mom in about 3 weeks ago. My main concern was her happiness being in a new environment. When we spoke to her the first time, she sounded very happy which calmed our concerns. The facility is very nice and all the staff are very attentive. We are, so far, very happy with our choice of Siskiyou Springs. It's good to know our Mom is safe, happy and cared for during this difficult time. We definitely would recommend Siskiyou Springs for elder memory care. Thank you.

My mother moved into Sequoia Springs two and a half years ago and has always felt at home. Every resident attendant has been wonderful to her and helpful. Some way past their expected duties! The med techs have been exceptional with caring for my mother during some of her more difficult times. They care so much. The serving staff is friendly, although sometimes short handed. The front desk personnel and director and assistant director are available and very kind to mom. Of course we miss getting together with everyone with this Covid mess going on but they try to assist in any way possible to see our loved ones. This group of people are the best right down to the maintenance man/ bus driver/ coffee server! Love him. It’s a wonderful place to spend your life. Very accommodating. Rooms are beautiful, nice views. So glad she is here.

I am out of state but every time I talk to my brother he is telling me how much he likes it there. He is able to interact with the other residents and do the activities which make me very happy. He says he is liking the food which is good. The staff has been wonderful they are kind and keep me informed as they have a concern.

Brookdale Clearlake is a beautiful well kept community. My mom is settling in quite nicely. This community was the best choice we had seen with the interaction between the staff and the residents. They are very attentive to the needs of my mom. My mom likes the food, not quite as good as the meals she was used to at home. Right now the activities are lacking because the activities director is out on sick leave. We would definitely recommend Brookdale Clearlake to others.
