Brookdale

Brookdale of Troy appears to be a nice place but not suitable for my wife's care. She needs 24/7 memory and nursing care, not assisted living.

A well equipped, well maintained facility with a wonderfully friendly staff. A friendly, environment-not stuffy or formal.

I was impressed by the facility. There seems to be a full schedule of activities. I like the physical facility. The residents' rooms are a little smaller than where our sister is currently living.

The apartments we viewed were very nice. They have many options for meals. The location is a central location that is close to shopping and activities..

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Longevity of key staff members is very impressive and one of the key reasons why I chose this facility. The facility is very clean, warm, and inviting.

After visiting Brookdale Lohman’s Crossing I was very impressed with the facility and staff along with some residents there. Every thing was clean and pleasant and everyone seemed happy. Since then my husband [name removed] is now moved in and he seems to like his apartment the community and the feeling of independence. Thank you for you service of A Place For Mom. It's a very nice facility but my concern was when you run out of your own money they only get private funding and that sure leaves a big question mark in a person's future

It was well-narrated and answered all my questions. It is a possibility as long as the prices remain reasonable.

We were very happy with the facility. Unfortunately, my husband was only there 3 days. He had to be admitted to the hospital.

Brookdale was a beautiful facility, rooms looked very nice, staff was very friendly. One if the things we didn't like was the 2 story buildings,it felt more like a hotel rather than home.

The Brook Dale staff is attentive to my mother‘s needs. The attendants are always available to assist her whenever she needs it. The activities fill up her day. Exercise class is always on her to do list. She enjoys interacting with others her age.

It was the third and final place where we pit our friend and mother. She was in memory care and she smiled for the first time in months. The staff took really good care of her. I highly recommend Brookdale Arvada.

Toured here in August for my mother in law who started living here a few weeks later. Facility offers 24/7 on sight staff, personal alarms, customized care for mom’s specific needs, wide range of daily activities, great daily meal choices and options, wonderful care staff and techs , transportation to appointments on certain days, clean environment with multiple inviting spaces on two floors and outside that can be utilized. This place met all of our specific needs we required for mom.

[name removed] took her time to show us the community and explain how their routines. She was patient & listened about my parent's needs. The facility was clean, and the residents seemed happy. Food looked good; rooms were spacious, and the activity calendar was full.

Brookdale continues to be the best place we could have moved my mother to. She feels very comfortable there among other residents like her. Her dementia is progressing faster than we expected but the care teams continue to look after her in a very caring and personal way. The management team is always responsive and professional when a question or issue arises. We highly recommend Brookdale Spring Shadows.

I was very impressed with the building, the staff and all of the planned activities and outside excursions.

Excellent communication and responsiveness. Willing to work with some limitations related to resident. Very happy with staff. The only challenge is the cost of “extras” which can add up fast.
