I DID A WALK THRU OF THE MEMORY CARE SIDE OF GREENTREE LOOKING FOR A NICE PLACE FOR MY WIFE. ''I FOUND IT'' THE OVERALL APPEARANCE WAS CLEAN, BRIGHT, AND WELL KEPT. THERE WERE PLENTY OF STAFF WORKING AND SEVERAL TOOK A SECOND TO GREET ME WITH A SMILE AND A HELLO. THE DINING AREA WAS NEAT AND CLEAN AS WAS THE SOCIAL/TV AREA AND HALLWAYS. MY GUIDE FOR THE TOUR WAS GREAT. ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS WITH SINCERE CONCERN ABOUT MY SITUATION AND NEEDS.

5 - my father, in his diminished capacity, is a handful and I admire the way they are able to redirect him and head off the behavioral issues.

My niece and nephew visited for me and reported that the facility was simply wonderful. I have since spoken directly with the [name removed], the Community Relations Director, with the plan of located my father here!

Wildwood Canyon is a beautiful, clean, welcoming facility. They also have security in place for memory care patients. The staff we met were cheerful and interacted with us and the residents in a kind, compassionate way. Many of the staff we spoke with had worked there for several years. The food looked and smelled delicious but we have not tried it yet. Family members can eat with the residents if they like. All in all a wonderful place.

The staff are wonderful. I would recommend Desert Peaks.

My mom is very well taken care of & the staff are very friendly & attentive. They provide transportation to doctor appts. They also take residents on outings & have special meals on holidays. The facility is clean & spacious. I should also say that my mom was there several years ago while recuperating from a broken pelvis. My dad was in their memory care facility for over a year before he passed away. We were very happy with the care they provided for those periods. I would highly recommend Callahan Village & Memory Care for seniors. It is expensive, but worth it.

The staff is wonderful - very attentive toy dads every need. They are kind and compassionate and really get to know him. The facility is nice and I like the fact that they intermix the memory care residents with the assisted living ones on some activities. My dad is high functioning and I think he appreciates that. Overall, we couldn't be happier.

I felt comfortable there. The caregivers were interacting with the residents and friendly. The only thing was the nurse was not even cordial with a smile or hello.

Overall a really great place to have your loved one. Great events, great staff, great care! The rooms are great and personable. You’re able to make it your place. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs assistance.

We are very pleased with the caring people, quality meals, and facilities at Garden Place Waterloo. The staff is very responsive and friendly, and takes the time to make sure my mother is content. The kitchen staff makes extra effort to ensure the residents receive their special meals as requested. And the management is receptive to all our questions. They offer many activities and special events which are appreciated. Garden Place clearly does an exceptional job screening their workers to get the best people. We hear many stories from other residents about how pleased they are to be here. We highly recommend Garden Place Waterloo!

Staff seem to be on top of when my Mother is having a health crisis. She seems to listen to the staff better than my siblings and I hitting our heads against the wall trying to do what the Doctor has prescribed. She is difficult and I appreciate everything the staff do.

#1 the directors openness and honesty. The cleanliness of the common areas, the amount of caring staff present! The staff encourages resident involvement by actually going to her room and reminding her of activities.

My mom was well taken care of. The place was very clean. Loved the people who worked there. The people who work there were genuine and caring. I would recommend to others.

Great place for incremental care plans- all staff positions are wonderful to work with. Great care plan levels for progressive needs...I'd like to illustrate that they do a good job incrementing since a lot of places have bulk levels where the care can go from not enough to too much and you're forced to pay for more than what you need... that's a big problem for lots of places.

I would highly recommend the facility to others. My brother and I were very impressed during our initial tour. It was very clean and staff was very friendly. The community resources manager was very knowledgeable and helpful, and helped walk us through the process. She still stops by to see how it's going when I'm there. The residents seem happy and I like seeing the positive interactions between staff and the residents. When I brought my mom to visit before she moved in, staff introduced her to residents, and many residents told my mom that she would love living there. They also invited us to lunch. Residents often talk about how good the food is. After joining my mom for a few meals, I agree! I like that they allow my mom to have some independence, but are readily available to help her if needed, and check on her throughout the day. She has her own studio apartment which allows her privacy. We were able to bring her personal items, furniture, curtains, wall art and family portraits for the walls, which helped make her apartment feel like home. I like that there are many visitors to the facility throughout the day, which shows family members and friends are involved and welcomed. They often have special activities and functions for residents and family members. Overall, I feel the staff has welcomed my mom and our family. I feel the staff is very supportive and caring towards the residents.

Wildwood Canyon is beautiful. Very peaceful surroundings. The staff is very friendly. Loved the outdoor area for the residents and their families.

In the short time my mother was there, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and cared for. After my mom's passing, when moving out, there wasn't even a mention of the bill. Shortly after, we received a remembrance present in the mail, not a bill. again, It was very impressive. It definitely felt like she was cared for. I would definitely recommend it. Especially for those looking for a strong community where the residents like to hang out together.

We visited The Canopy memory care place last weekend and really liked the place for our loved one. The staff there was warm and friendly, the residents seemed happy and engaged (as much as possible) There was music and the place seemed very clean. We will definitely be considering this place once our loved one is ready for the move.

Callahan Village was clean, relatively new and nice. Some of the rooms on a busy street side had road noise even with the windows closed call [name removed] that may have been due to the fact that the air conditioner was not in place. The other side was perfectly quiet. But then I am exquisitely sensitive to Rd noise. I did not get to tour the two bedroom units in the cottages because they were all occupied, but I put in a reservation to be on the waitlist for them. The menu did not look as promising as The one at [community removed], which is my first choice.
