Complete Care Management

I recently had the opportunity to visit Whispering Woods. Overall it’s a beautiful facility. For the most part everyone is friendly. You do have moments when things could be better like the food, and sometimes lack of food available to the residents. The staff is wonderful. I had one of the greatest customer service experiences recently with a lady at the reception desk. She was new a face I had never saw before and she greeted me and treated me as if we knew each other forever. It’s not easy when leaving your loved one in the care of others as I had just moved my loved one in. She made both of us feel welcomed and at home. It wasn’t just doing your job, it was going above and beyond to make us both feel welcomed and seen. Your staff is the greatest and I would recommend you guys to anyone!

So far, the facility and the workers are truly amazing. But, for the price our loved ones are paying to stay there, I think it's time to do something about the food, it is disgusting and presentation is not pretty. You're getting a LOT of money for these patients to be there, and, they don't want to be there, but most of them have no choice, so why don't you spend a little more money and give these people better food, since that's all they have to look forward to, on a daily basis, in your facility.

Whispering Woods was amazing. I would recommend to anyone. The rooms are lovely and the staff very kind. The head nurse is wonderful and she too is very kind and thoughtful. The staff including receptionist, activities coordinator, and maintenance crew are all included in this review. Great team of employees.

Food needs to be improved. I would maybe recommend to others.

It is very close to my brother in law like 5 minutes. Helpful easier to navigate system. I would recommend to others.

Our loved one and family had a good experience with the community. The staff are caring and kind. Everyone is friendly. We would recommend that your visit the community prior to moving your loved one in, to make sure you are choosing the right community for your loved one.

Clean, cheery, people very nice, studio room decent size, and once on Medicaid they keep you in a private room, however if you have a big room would move you to the small studio room

We got to see this community ip close a personal. My mother in law went here before. The staff was nice and very helpful. The community is very nice as well. The community was also clean and neat. It just was not what we wanted.

The care seems appropriate, the facility appears clean. However, the food, which cannot be judged by eating w/ a resident now and then, is a sticking point of the residents. The food needs great improvement in the quality of the meat products used, as does the offering of fresh vegetables and fruit, and overall skilled preparation of meals.

I would give it a 3. The facility is in the process of being bought and is small. There are only 10 rooms and it needs updating. It would be okay for a short time in a pinch. I am hoping they can get a better facility with the buyout if they update the building The staff was good. Considering they were decorating for Christmas and had covid in the building I understood.

I'm not very happy with the facility. First the person who sold us on the place left before we moved in. The RN was lovely. [name removed] was her name. She left after a few months. My family member needs to be given her medication and the medical staff has been decreased. The wait times are not healthy. They need more staff!!! The food is not great either. Lots of fish which she doesn't like. The property and rooms are lovely. It needs a spruce up though. It seems that whoever the owners are, have cut spending on the upkeep of the place.

The location as it is close to my house where I can visit frequently. Also, the admission lady, who no longer works there, was very helpful in getting grandmother there. They are understaffed and the aides have too many residents to take care of.

They have changed management and it not has good. They cut the recreation budget so there is a lot of tv watching has activities. They also now have high turnover. I would hesitate to recommend bc at times it seems there was a shift to focus more on profit and they are slowly getting rid of things

Ok community, not the right fit.

They gave my Mom 2 slices of dry bread with a third of one slice of deli ham for dinnner last night! I took a pic of the slop and am going to send it to the health dept. I went to the desk and yelled...Is this what you're feeding our loved ones!? The nurses just looked at me, saying nothing! My Mom's roommate couldn't eat hers either! They gave her a peanutbutter sandwhich after I complained! This is DINNER! Where's the money going? It certainly isn't going for food! There needs to be an investigation! The Salvation Army has better food! Now I know my Mom hasn't been exaggerating! Do not send your loved ones here! They will starve!

This community was completely awful, could not even consider this one. People were all in a room like they were putting on a show.

I would not recommend this community to anyone. The constant monitoring of my loved one's room was horrible, I would find dirty diapers under their bed, dirty bathrooms, missing phone, missing clothes all of this was prior to the pandemic. My loved one contracted COVID from the community and they had 96 residents that had contracted it in this community. My loved one was the 14th patient that died from COVID. They cut off visitation for family members in March and it seemed obvious they knew they had a patient infected then.

It may be that this facility's main focus is rehab, rather than long-term care, but it felt very institutional and depressing.

I was very unhappy with this facility. The nursing aids are horrible. They do not care about the patients at all the worst one there was the woman [name removed] she could care less if you parent lived or died I wouldn’t bring an animal to this care facility. the place was dirty. The pictures that they show on the Internet do not look like the room. They leave the poor patients in the day room all day just to sit there and look at walls the physical therapy was good, but the nursing staff the aids are horrible here. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Where should l begin. 1. The food was horrendous. I would even feed it to a rat. 2. I was promised a shower two days in a row. Never happened so l was forced to bath myself in the sink. 3. Bedding had a old musty smell to it. 4. God forbid if u needed anything. When u ring the call button it takes at least a hour or more before anyone responds to it. So for poor patients that are unable to get out of bed had to sit in there own [profanity removed] or piss until someone came to change them. 5. They told my roommate if she didn't get out of bed to go to pt they where gonna put her on a board and carry her down there. 6. They didn't have the seizure meds . My roommate needed when she arrived. She had to wait over 24 hours to recieve them. 7. Staff is extremely rude. My pt therapist belittled me and put me down other that encourage me. I was forced to keep my door closed because the guy across the yelled and screamed 24/7. Plus l was told by a nurse he liked to peek into patients room. Ect ect.
