The setting at Park Rose was very nice both inside and out. All of the staff and residents we interacted with were very friendly. The residents we saw were engaged in multiple activities, and having a good time as evidence by their laughter. The social calendar has many activities to choose from. The dining room was very nice, and the menu had many choices. It appears this would be a lovely place to live if you were looking for a social atmosphere where you could receive the meals prepared for you each day.

My mom recently moved there from Florida. She was very nervous about moving into an unfamiliar place. Needless to say, she loves it there. Everyone from the staff to the residents are very friendly and welcoming. There are many activities for the residents and someone is always available to lend a hand.

We brought Mom to Heritage Oaks after checking out all the many assistant living , memory care homes in Port Charlotte and Venice. Heritage Oaks checked all the boxes! The staff and nurses and professionals , that work there are amazing! I feel like Mom is well cared for and looked after, at all times. The activities stimulate her and keep her happy. Heritage Oaks has managed to offer a productive schedule and programs that fit each residents needs ! I enjoy the activities myself, that also helps me spend time , enjoying activities with my Mom.

My mom has been at Town Village with her friend since March of 2026. She loves it there. Making so many new friends and at 96 you don't have a lot of the old friends left. Lots of activities to keep you busy along with exercise classes and a pool too.

Found the facility clean, friendly, professional and comfortable feeling. Occupants seemed to enjoy their surroundings and others around them. Some sat outside talking with each other. Staff seemed very involved with residents. My guide was very professional and friendly.

The staff is so friendly not only to family but also to the residents. You can tell that they truly treat each resident as family.

I was looking for independent living that would provide meals and transportation for my 80 year old brother and his wife. The facility was clean, the staff was very friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We even had both lunch and dinner there and the food was excellent! It also fell within their income limits and we are excited about moving in.

We were greeted by [name removed] She presented all of the amenities and explained how the process worked with patience and understanding. We greatly appreciated the time and expertise she shared with us.

Initially I met with [name removed], the director, with each of us sharing, my needs and what the facility had to offer. Following this he showed me through the immaculately clean facility, through on-going activities and the Memory Care section with introductions to the staff. I was impressed with the atmosphere and friendliness. It’s certainly worth consideration for your loved one.

All 5 except maybe number 8. It's expensive, I think it was worth it, especially the last two weeks she was there. The food was excellent. Staff was helpful and available for anything we needed from them . Her room was large with a lot of light. The facility itself was gorgeous. She didn't really participate in the activities but there were a lot of fun things to do. They had a memory care facility on sight.

Friendly staff, attentive, great room options, good menu, and excellent amenities.

I love all of the lady's that help out my mom. [name removed] and [name removed] stand out.

So far, 5 for each category. Only been living here for 2 days. Helpful, friendly, clean.

Great in all areas - but he complains about the food being bad all the time. I would recommend the community to others.

We almost became residents but my office furniture and 2nd bedroom set would not be able to fit in the same room. We now need more sq footage than the bungalow had. Staff there are very professional and a very great credit to The Point at Meridian.

The staff at Parkrose is amazing. They are friendly, responsive and go above and beyond. They food is great and my Mom even gained a few pounds! Yippee! The rooms are spacious and meet the needs of everyone with the variety of types. There are many activities to keep my Mom busy. It is an amazing place to live and stay! They keep everything well maintained and clean! A must see for all!

My sister has a two bedroom apartment. Her last ten years have been spent in a traditional apartment complex. She has mobility and vision issues. Over her last ten years she had become reclusive. Only socializing with family visits. Other than church on Sunday she did not interact with anyone. Her sister and I were very concerned about this move as she has been fearful of change and that has resulted in anxiety attacks in past moves. Now about the transition to the facility. We visited with my sister and she expressed many fears to the staff, the staff personnel affirmed her fears and helped her see mitigation strategies to help. We toured the facility and EVERYONE we met staff and residents were so very kind. My sister begin to lighten. After the move in she was introduced to her "ambassador" who helped introduce her to the facility and residents. In a very few weeks she was a different person, going to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meeting residents, she attends bingo and movie nights! She actually told me " this is a very nice place", a very extraordinary comment form my sister! The facility is very nice, she mostly likes the food who's is something, the staff is kind and efficient. But setting all of the hardware aside, my sister has simply blossomed into a new more active and happy life. I could not be more grateful! I would like to mention one individual on the staff although there are many to which I owe my thanks. [name removed] met with my sister on our first visit and gave us a tour around the facility. Her empathy for my sister and acknowledgement of her concerns I think has been the catalyst for her improvement. Again I want to thank all of the staff for this transformation!
