It's apartment living in a luxury hotel with a friendly, caring staff. I love the location in the middle of a residential area, away from industry and traffic but close to shopping.

Greenfields is a beautiful and well-appointed retirement facility. It has a very good food plan with delicious offerings. As of now, they have plenty of activities and care services but we can see the push for residents has stretched available appointments out considerably. I am hopping these are short term growing pains and additional staff and appointments will be added now that demand is increasing (salon, nails, physical therapy).

Love the community. People are friendly, active and want to accept you into the community quickly. Food is good. Apartments are good size. They will refurbish apartment to your liking when you decide to move there. All public facilities are in the process of getting refurbished in the coastal style (which I love)

We love Greenfields! My mom was so very happy there for the short time that she lived there. The process was easy. The staff was helpful. It was clean and everyone was friendly. There are plenty of activities as well. Everyone from security and desk staff to the kitchen and waitstaff was phenomenal. My mom had to transition to skilled nursing and they were great as well! Couldn’t be happier with them. Well worth the money to have peace of mind! ??

My wife & I visited 12 Retirement Communities in Wisconsin & Minnesota. Friendship Village Bloomington (FVB) was clearly #1. We have lived here now for over 4 years. We love it & our experience is even better than we thought it would be. Both the staff & residents are extremely friendly & competent. The facility is first-rate & the programs offered & resources are awesome! This has been recognized recently by Masterpiece Living’s honoring FVB as a “Certified Center for Successful Aging”. This places FVB in the top 1% of retirement communities in the United States. FVB’s Programming addresses Physical (exercise & diet), Socialization, Intellectual stimulation & Spiritual (meaningful) activities that extend & maximize the time residents are able to live in “independent living”. Pretty decent but only provides one meal per day.

This place is fabulous. Really enjoyed visiting with the gracious staff. But costs more than we can afford with the buy in cost.

Great facility, no negatives at all.

I wasn't looking for a room to rent in a mixed Independent and Assisted Living community. I was looking for a home and a new lifestyle. The Craig was the perfect fit. The 60ft buffet is filled with a delicious variety of 5 star cuisine! The dining staff are kind and they are also superior. There is indeed a "sloped" walk to the dining room but its so beneficial, and not a problem for residents. Those who have difficulty, use a scooter because you have plenty of space to enjoy! You should see the small lake with all the baby goslings! I am delighted I made The Craig my home.

Mom had such a wonderful experience at Oak Trace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided an excellent level of care. The community is well kept and maintained very well. Mom would still be here if they had an intermittent level of care between assisted living and skilled nursing.

We toured this community and liked it. It's very spacious and elegant. I was very impressed with it. However the hallways are on a slope to the dining room, and that would not have worked for my loved ones. It was very nice, but just not the right fit for us.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for my loved one. Everything we saw during our tour looked very nice, it was a well kept clean community, and the staff were all very friendly and professional. This wasn't the community we ended up selecting but was definitely somewhere we considered.

The cost seems in line for all they provide. The buy in fee at the independent living level is high, but 90% is returned. One can stay there receiving all levels of care, Independent through Skilled nursing. Meals are done as in a restaurant, served when one arrives.

We have been most impressed at the care our dad has received at Friendship Village. The staff there appears to love their work. The care has been top notch. The care has also been wonderful. Entering Friendship Village is very accommodating and accessible. We can't say enough how happy we have been with the care at Friendship Village. Our dad also required 24 hour skilled nursing and Friendship Village is one of the few facilities that offers that care.

My parents lived and died here and I just want to go some place different.

It's great. My mom loves it! Everything is just perfect for her. The cleanliness is a 6! It's still sticker shock, the whole thing, but from what I've seen I think the value is still good. Overall, it's exactly what she though she was getting into.
