Long Hill

Parents moved in [date removed], during Hurrican Harvey. The activities are wonderful and ther is quite a variety. There are many trips away from the facility as well. Al of the staff truly care about the residents and their well being. The dining hall food is very delicious and the wait staff are very proficient. A wonderful place to live.

I am very satisfied with the satff and conditions of the faciltiy. The entire staff are eager to help in any problem, that I have came to them with. Most of the problems were not caused by them or the facility.

I toured Carriage Inn at Katy and it was fine tour experience and first impression. We chose another community because Carriage Inn wasn't a good fit for our loved one.

We chose Carriage Inn at Katy because my parents felt the most comfortable here. It was a little smaller of a community and that is what they were looking for. The staff is amazing, the food is great, and all of the residents are super friendly and welcoming. We have been very happy with our choice, it was the perfect fit for my parents. I would absolutely recommend this facility.

My sister was at another facility and it discouraged me very much. I am so glad that she moved to Carriage Inn because it totally changed my mind about these types of facilities. They really care for their residents here. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

The people that work at Carriage Inn and the people that live there are their greatest assets. The food served at meals is wonderful, the service is great, and people are friendly to everyone and go out of their way to make new residents feel welcome.

Stoney Brook is a very nice facility and the staff were great. They are still reaching out to me making sure we are happy where we are at. Unfortunately it was too expensive for us and there was a waiting list. They gave out cookies when we were leaving and they were AMAZING.

We chose Carriage Inn at Katy because of the good reputation they have in the community, the convenient location, and the value for the money fit our budget. The apartment sizes are really good. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. If we have any questions or concerns there is always someone there to help us right away. I would definitely; recommend them to others looking.

This community was beautiful but it was more expensive than the budget we had for my loved one. The tour guide was very nice and thorough and interacted with everyone. You could tell that she was active in the community and there were a lot of amenities available also.

We have heard the meals and dining service is pretty good and they do have different activities going on in the memory care unit. They do sing-a-longs and get their nails done. The value for cost was not bad but at times it did seem to be over priced, but we would still recommend the Carriage Inn at Lake Jackson community to other families.

For what is paid we feel that my loved one is getting everything that she needs from this community. Knowing that my loved one is safe is priceless. My love one is making good friends, she is safe, cared for they are truly friendly at this community and very clean. They are very positive and there are a lot of activities and social events for the residents to stay busy.

We have been really impressed with not only the day to day staff but the higher ups in management with just how friendly and helpful they have been. They have had to cut back on the activities but we do wish they would do a little more to encourage the residents and our loved one to stay engaged. Our loved one really enjoys reading, so maybe they could have a book club or book group discussions. She also loves flowers, so for the residents who enjoy flowers and gardening maybe they could do some more things outside.

I could live here and so could you live. The two ladies that run the organization are on top of things. The interview process was good. Some activities include church, bingo, bible study, ice cream social, happy hour with live music or games, walking club, Wii activities, holiday celebrations, offsite trips, and more for the residents to choose from. They do have transportation available for the residents to use when needed for fun, shopping, and doctor appointments.

The staff members at Carriage in are very friendly, even with the current staffing issues they are working their hardest. When they do have activities, right now they are locked down they usually have about 4 to 5 different things going on daily. The meal are delicious, our loved one is extremely happy with the meals and dining service.

I would recommend you come and move in. This is a wonderful community. The staff are wonderful to work with. Some of the activities include ice cream social, popcorn hour, weekly happy hours, trips, bingo, and more to keep you interested. The food has slightly gone down hill and there aren't a lot of choices that we had prior.

I think that this is an excellent choice for an elderly parent and somewhere to be. This is a great community for your loved one nothing but positive things.

We had a wonderful tour with Village on the Park. The facility is beautiful and more upscale. The staff all seemed to be very friendly and caring. The only reason we did not choose this facility was because the location was a little further away and it was pricey.

This community blends in well with the neighborhood area close by, and so far they are very happy there. Driving up to the community it is beautiful just driving up to is, it is beautiful walking around the facility as well as the inside. We went the week before Christmas for their Christmas Dinner and everything was beautiful. The appetizers included fine cheese, shrimp, and gourmet meals. Everything was divine, it was like dining in at a five star restaurant. The tables had white linens draped over, they had charger plates, beautiful centerpieces and the menus were printed out. The wait staff was wonderful and on top of it. There are plenty activities going on

I have worked in several facilities and this is better than many I've seen! Great small, great atmosphere! Great overall!

Carriage Inn gets 5/5 rating from me! The personnel are very caring and accommodating. The cleaning once a week is appreciated for these senior residents. Food menus have excellent choices. M 94 yr old mom enjoys the many planned activities like corn hole, things. singing, dancing, and games, puzzles, cards, dominoes available to small groups. Transportation to doctors, shopping, and church is available upon your request. The in house hair salon is fantastic and budget kind. The facility is always trying to improved by scheduling Town Hall meetings for residents suggestions. As a caregiver I trust the employees because I see when my mom needs help and I'm not there.
