So happy mom spent her last years here. Her care was wonderful. We never had to worry.

Facility is always clean and workers always happy to help with care. I would definitely have my loved one come to this community.

The staff display an engaged, caring attitude toward the residents

The residence (both common areas and private rooms) are always clean and neat, as well as decorated for the season. The staff are always caring, attentive and friendly. Peripheral services are made available as needed. Hair dresser, doctor, dentist and PT. We are very confident we made a good choice.

Warm caring clean and well appointed facility. The entire staff was always friendly and courteous.

My dad was recently at Brandywine Governor He was very happy there Sadly my brother chose to relocate with him but I want to bring attention to the evening nurse [name removed] she was so caring loving to my dad that even when I would take him home for a few hours he would be looking to get back “home” His smile was so bright when he saw [name removed] she treated him like family She is missed by dad Thank You for all you did !

Staff from all departments take time to know residents needs and personalities. Teamwork is seen when short staffed in dining hall. Caregiving, chef and even nurses help out. Front desk team know everyone and quickly answer family questions or contact RN as needed. Activity program is versatile to find something for each resident. Consistently impressed by and grateful for staff who meet my mother's emotional and medical needs. They also communicate concerns with family as needed.

I really don't know where to begin by talking about Brandywine Living at Livingston. My mom lived in Florida, but was in need of assisted living. I was her health care surrogate and loving daughter who was living in NJ. I tried a place first in Florida and it didn't work. I then moved her to NJ and found the most amazing place. Brandywine Living. All of the staff was amazing. From the senior management, including the Executive Director, the Sales personnel, the head of Health care, the Nurses to the Programming Directors and to all of the staff----both in the assisted living and in the memory care. When mom was "not right" they immediately notified me and we solved all issues together. When Mom needed to be hospitalized, they made sure it was done right. When mom needed to be transferred from Assisted Living to Memory care, we did it in a step by step process so that she welcomed the change with open arms. When mom became extremely ill, Brandywine was there with me, to the end. They even came to the hospital and later attended her Memorial Service. WOW. What a great place. I can't say enough good things about it because it is an amazing place that really really cares about their residents and their families. They will always remain part of my family!!

My mother moved in recently and we could not be more delighted. She is involved in activities and engage with the other residents. The team there could not be nicer! We are very happy with this choice for our mom.

The staff genuinely care and are always attentive. They are always aware of their surroundings of visitors and the condition (cleanliness and orderliness) of their residents room. They are an admirable and consentias group.

My mother, [name removed], 103 years old, recently passed away. She spent three years as president, receiving the best care! The nurses in Wellness were diligent with her care as were the aides in seeing that she was well dressed, complete with earring and bracelets. The dining and wait staff paid particular attention to preparing her meals. She was also included in many recreational activities.

You could not choose a better place. I have my brother there and live out of state. I feel such a comfort that all his needs are addressed. The staff keeps one well informed and I know he is safe and happy.

We moved my mother and her aide from independent living into the Brandywine Savoy 2 months ago. We moved her quickly because I was going in for surgery and I needed to make sure she would adjust and be happy. They have wonderful aides there but I was relieved that we could take her aides with her. They are part of our family. We checked out many assisted living places. Just want to mention, unlike the Bristol, they also allow personal aides to sit with your parent if need be. [name removed] and the entire staff have been awesome. [name removed] made the transition easy and relaxing for us. The wellness center and dining facility have helped my mother with all her new needs such as food thickener added to her food and drink. Brandywine is very organized with laundry, housekeeping and maintenance. I’m very impressed with their wellness center! They have entertainment and many activities throughout the day. Her one bedroom apartment has nice sized living room and bathroom. Bottom line, I highly recommend the Brandywine Savoy for your parents. They treat everyone lovingly and have the knowledge and experience to support your parent as well as their family.

Brandywine provides its senior residents with an outstanding environment; the upkeep and cleanliness is excellent. Both the food preparation and choices are of high quality. Activities are thoughtfully planned and keep all who choose to participate active and satisfied. The healthcare providers and all staff members are continually caring, courteous and helpful. [Name removed] is exceptionally dedicated, constantly going above and beyond as Executive Director.

My husband and I found a new home for my mother-in-law [name removed] at Brandywine in Rehoboth Beach in 2011, three years after she moved in with us. At age 87 her progressive dementia was making it unsafe for her to remain at home, especially since we were still working out of state several days/week. In-home care was no longer viable, and we made the difficult decision to find her professional residential care. From our first meeting, Executive Director [name removed] and Director of Community Relations [name removed] were supportive and helpful in assessing [name removed]'s needs and explaining how Brandywine could meet them. They provided information about her care, advice about long term financial payment and assured us that every caregiver would keep [name removed] safe and care for her physical and emotional needs. We found over time that residents were not left in their rooms on their own. In the Reflections Memory Care Unit residents are in the main living areas for a variety of stimulating activities, crafts, parties, musical presentations, dance parties and holiday celebrations. [Name removed], INVEST Coordinator expertly planned these events and assured all residents and their families had the opportunity to attend and be involved. Over the years we enjoyed many holiday meals with [name removed] in the beautiful dining room. [Name removed] loved it all, had many friends among the residents and staff, and seemed very happy. Towards the end of her life we were not sure if she knew who we were, but it did not matter because she was smiling most of the time. Our weekly visits with her were truly quality time, and the decision to place her at Brandywine was absolutely the right one for our family. [Name removed] peacefully passed away at Brandywine last week at the age of 95 after eight years of being lovingly cared for by the wonderful staff there. Her dementia became severe over time. The aides, nurses and activities staff were so tolerant of the sometimes agitated and obstinate behavior that people with progressive dementia exhibit (aide [name removed] was especially good at this!). The staff were trained to handle these situations with respect and dignity. My husband and I visited at different times of the day, observed many staff interactions, and found consistent professional behavior every time we visited. The Brandywine staff became like family to us. On [name removed]'s last evening her nurse [name removed] was incredibly supportive and attentive to her and us as she passed. We will never forget his kindness that evening and the wonderful and loving care we witnessed for all eight years at Brandywine.

My mother stayed at BW for 5 years and I would recommend it highly for anyone looking for the Best facility available . Food is great, place is very clean, no odors at all . My mother [name removed] stayed at the Serenade section of BW for 3 years where she was taken care of until her final days. I have to thank all the people who helped my mother day in and day out and having the patience to deal with difficult situations. The friendly and loving staff I will never forget, especially [name removed] , [name removed] and [name removed]. [Name removed] from Hospice is also the best . Thanks again !

The quality of life exceeded all expectations! It is a pleasure to be part of a society of similar age and experiences. My single comment is "comfort". Individuals who have the opportunity will surely be delighted!

My Mom, [name removed], was a resident at Brandywine of Mahwah from September 2017, until she passed on New Year’s Eve, 2018. Your Executive Director [name removed]’s kindness and sensitivity sets the bar high for her entire staff. [Name removed], Mom’s favorite Nurse, along with the entire Brandywine team were extraordinary. During the 18 months that Mom lived at Brandywine, we made a few trips to the ER due to health issues. Each time Mom returned to [name removed] she was greeted with warmth, smiles, and open arms. She was returning home. I know I speak for my siblings when I say that we could not have asked for more. [Name removed] with her warm smiles and tenderness in the dining room, [name removed] keeping everyone busy and engaged, and all of the care managers who always looked out for Mom, allowed us to feel that we’d found the right place for her. I have been recommending Brandywine to any one and everyone that will listen. Thank you for making her final days rich, joyful, and most importantly safe.

I love Brandywine Living at Mahwah. There are many, varied activities. There is personal pride and respect. I am free to be ME! We thrive of Love & Respect for each other. The building is impeccably appointed and maintained with pride, All employees do their jobs well and are enthusiastically involved with us residents. This is a happy, pleasant place to be! I expect to live out my life here.

This is more than a Assisted Living it’s a family The Residents look out for each other The staff love and care for the residents as if they were their grandparent Families are welcomed treated with respect It is such peace of mind knowing my parent is safe and cared for Facility is well kept Only complaint I have heard is with the charge nurse in the evening many including mine residents say she is rude never available and takes long breaks I have had one encounter with her but I tend to avoid her other staff nurses aides waiters are very friendly always smiling
