I am giving all the categories that are listed for Desert Springs a 5. We are very happy with the Desert Springs community, it overall is a really nice place. [name removed] really likes it there and he gets very good care. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They keep us well updated. It's a very nice place. Yes we would for sure recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones. And thank you to you guys for helping us too.

They were rock stars. At the end mom very difficult. She became violent. They could have forced her to to move. But instead they worked with us. AND I LOVE ZACK AND HOW HE TREATED MOM. YEP THEY HAVE MY VOTE! It was clean they helped and were kind even when my mom was abusive. They called me if they had to take her to hospital. My mom was bad at the end and they still were nice to her.

I had to get hospice involved to allow her to go to the facility. (Open wound) The administration/ social workers helped speed up the process as I could only be in Vegas a short time as my husband in Ohio was having cancer treatments. It was a rough time. The hospice was not affiliated with the facilities under there umbrella but the care seemed to be almost seamless.

I would definitely recommend Desert View Senior Living to others. Overall, it was a good experience. I would say the least of these was the food, but it wasn't horrible. The communication with the family was great, and they were always friendly to us and of course knew us by name. The move in process was easy. Another con would be the laundering situation. They lost some of dad's clothes and usually he was wearing someone else's, but it was a non issue for us. We would just recommend that they mark all the clothes well and maybe not bring expensive clothes there.

Villa Court was the only place that worked with the skilled nursing facility to get my dad transitioned to assisted living. The other places we applied rejected him. VC really helped to make dad a candidate for care there and then took good care of him. Once dad moved into VC, they quickly recommended evaluation by Medicare for hospice care and that was granted right away. I felt like they had a good handle on how the process worked and helped me out instead of leaving me hanging. If there's anything to take away from this, VC did a great job as intermediary with the skilled nursing facility, Medicare, the hospice care provider, and the family.

Friendly, clean, good food, and treatment of everyone with dignity.

I would rank all 5's... the staff was awesome, they truly care, my mom wasn't there long, but she was happy there during her short stay.. Thank you for making her last few weeks special.. her words: "I'm happy here"!

The reason we gave the value for cost a 4 is because they have had significant increases over this year. The staff members have definitely made it such a great experience and based on the experience so far we would recommend Heritage Assisted Living to other families.

The facility is very different from other assistant living/senior apartments that I've ever been to… everyone is friendly and very busy. The room sizes are nice and adequate for the needs. Highly recommend Desert Springs.

My loved one is currently a resident at Villa Court Assisted Living and the overall experience has been great. The care services, meals and value for cost are great. I would highly recommend this facility to others for its value and friendly staff.

Today my Certified Nurse Aide students toured the facility. It was an amazing tour and the staff and residents were friendly and caring. We were all very impressed with the facility, the family atmosphere, and the wonderful staff that we met. The friendly welcome by all made our trip very rewarding and gave my students new perspectives on health care.

The food is good. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. The facility is clean during each shift. [name removed] she is manager of the facility. She is very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable . Marla Vista has my recommendation.

My loved one is a resident at Desert Springs. Everyone is welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to make the transition easy. They have activities daily and gently encourage residents to participate. I 100% recommend this facility to others.

The ladies that took care of my mom were so loving and kind. The move in process was very very easy. They even loaned my mom a walker for a while until she got one. They allowed us to bring in furniture for her and made her feel very much at home. My mother passed away at Villa Court and right until the end they stayed by her side. I would highly recommend Villa Court! The staff at Villa Court was kind and loving. They kept the place very clean and they were always checking on my mom. One of the cooks from the kitchen found out that my mother loved collard greens and made her a special meal of collard greens. She was thrilled. The night nurses would come in to check on my mom and they would hug her and call her beautiful and tell her that they loved her when she needed it the most. Villa Court had an activity Director that was awesome and always coming up with interesting things for the residents to do.

Their Marketing Director, [name removed], is amazing and such a caring person. As is [name removed], their Head of Memory Care. They both were integral in ensuring my uncle's time with them was excellent. [name removed], their head of Food Services, does an Excellent job of ensuring good quality food on a regular basis. They have lots of in house activities and will do their best to add things if you ask. They are in the middle of changing Directors. Their director, [name removed] left in February. I'm not sure who the new director is.

My husband has been in Canyon Creek memory care for over a year, it has been a difficult journey to accept the fact that I was not able to care for him at home. During the first months of adjustment all the staff were caring and compassionate not only for my husband but for me as well. I highly recommend Canyon Creek memory care, the residents are treated as family, the food is great, the rooms are clean, but most of all the staff is amazing. The Director always has time to chat over concerns and those concerns are taken care of right away.

Although it is an older facility, it feels more like a home. As my mom says, it is not just a home it's like family.For me location, cleanliness and a caring staff community was most important... I found the needle in the haystack. Not only did they get my mom the help she needed, they helped me through the process. I know I can count on the staff for great care and keeping me informed.

Don't be hesitant to ask the staff for anything. If they don't know the answer they will get the right person to help. For us the location is perfect & the facility was not so big she would get lost.

Desert View Senior Living and Uplift Hospice sets the high standard in Las Vegas. Everywhere else is a distant second. I placed a family member there in Dec 2023 after touring 10 facilities since 2016 in anticipation of ultimate placement once this person could no longer live by themselves. I knew the tangible and intangible factors I was seeking. My expectations were exceeded. As a career naval officer, I have a good sense for teams where winning is a habit, or in this context outstanding, compassionate care is the norm. Charlie, a man of action and sincerity made the transition seamless. Every single member from Mindy at the front desk to executives like [name removed], [name removed], the Maintenance Chief to all the wonderful medical technicians impressed me as total professionals. I feel especially qualified to give this review as my family member rapidly declined and I was there 1-2Xs/day for 2 months. I warmed by the care my mother and other residents received.
