Prestige Care

My loved one has only been there for about a month now, so it is a little early to tell, but so far the staff members have been attentive and they have fulfilled all of the promises that they have made.

A nice place.

I would say that the staff is very caring and knows everyone by name. They try to go above and beyond when they can. On a negative side, there have been multiple cases of missing appointments, like getting my dad to a doctors appointment. They have brought in a new management team to address some of the problems though. It is pretty good now.

They were nothing but complimentary. I guess their responsiveness is excellent, if we have any questions or concerns. The facility is welcoming and clean and there is easy access to my loved one's rooms. They seem to be settled in now and have gotten use to the place. We haven't had any complaints.

My loved one seems like he is satisfied there at Prestige Senior Living Southern Hills. I gave this place a four-star overall rating and many of the other categories are equally rated, except for the value which I gave a three-star rating.

Compared to other places that I visited. I never lived in any other place except here. The bed room is spacious but the living room is small. Except for a microwave no other cooking appliance is allowed. The meals are good and filling. but I miss some of the meals we used to cook. Some places I look at had more activities and others less. I was looking for a place to get better care for my wife and I found it.

Well they have a fabulous reputation. They could improve on their activities. They are understaffed, which is an important part of assisted living, and I think it affects the activities. Sometimes the assigned activities get canceled and what not. I definitely think there needs to be more staffing. Also, the residents universally complain about the food quality.

This is a very nice facility. The meal plan was limited. Out of our price range though.

We toured this community while looking into senior living options for a loved one. I thought this seemed like a nice place overall, and probably would have been our second choice. The staff were friendly and professional, and the facility seemed clean and well kept. Definitely worth a look, if you're searching in the area!

We have had a good experience so far. Everything has been going good. It is a very clean facility. The staff is very nice.

People from the facility were very helpful in getting everything set up to get my aunt moved in. They only have one person that does maintenance for the whole facility and they need more. My aunt is happy.

My experience with Prestige Senior Living has not been perfect, but the people are very friendly, and encouraging. The staff gets to my loved one immediately when she pushes the button. The food is good, and overall I'm satisfied. I would recommend Prestige Senior Living to others.

They have a friendly and courteous staff. The food is good food. There is enough parking, but then we tend to park in the evenings. They do have outside areas for family and residents to enjoy. The activities could be a little bit better.

They have a new person for activities – so hopefully that will be great too. They have a great location. The layout of the building is unusual. It’s not like a hotel. The food is a four. The laundry service is not great. The parking can be limited.

So far, there have been some complaints about the food, but I am inclined to think that would happen anywhere. He says sometimes, it's overcooked, or burnt, not much flavor. They had some problems with people not doing their jobs well, and have made a lot of positive changes to correct the issue, this happened while we were moving in. I liked the location, and the fact they have a nurse onsite to check on the residents if there are any concerns. I liked that they communicate with the doctors, so there is some consistency in the care, the nurse makes sure that follow ups are done.

I think this is a good community. The food wasn’t that good. They could stand to have better cooking There is a little a little back patio. The fact that they were able to take seniors from independent living all the way through needing to go to the hospital – that they could age in place was a big reason I chose them.

My brother and I toured this community. It was a beautiful facility. They may not have enough staff. A family friend had an unpleasant experience with the staff there that influenced our decision. We went with a community that had more staff available.

They've been very good so far, they have a lot of activities for the residents to do. He is getting involved in the activities more now. He seems to eat fine and enjoy it. Some of the new staff that's just coming in are still learning their job. They are still transitioning from Bonaventure. I think they are a little overwhelmed. They had an open house to introduce the new staff, but they didn't really introduce who was who, they went around and answered questions, and introduced themselves, but there was no general introduction so we don't know who we need to talk to now and who is in charge of what.

This is a nice place, the only problem I had with it was some deficiencies in the housekeeping service. It's recently gone through a change in ownership and the new owners have said those problems will be addressed, and they would also be making some improvements in a few other areas, such as hiring a full-time nurse.

Generally very happy with the services provided to my two loved ones, one in assisted living and one in memory care. The facility is nicely appointed and they report that the food is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful and anxious to please. As with any service provider, its a good idea to follow-up and make certain that you get clarity and fully understand who (family or facility) is responsible for any given item/situation. They do not appear to be understaffed, as this sort of facilities sometimes are and have delivered the promised services. Overall, I have only good feelings about the Arbor Place facility and staff.
