The management company doesn't care about the employees. It doesn't feel likes a safe environment when they are providing medication. Since they are one of the major providers in the area, I wonder if the other communities are in the same shape They have been consistently short staffed and employees are consistently working 12 to 16 hour shifts. The house manager quit after working 24 hours and was asked to work another 6 hours. The management company, Cornerstone, does not care.

There is no WiFi here. Therefore was unable to play comforting music for family or resident.

The biggest issue i had with this community was how unhappy and depressed all of the residents looked. Nobody was smiling or really having an kind of interaction with each other when i had taken my tour and that is just not the kind of environment I would want my mother to be in.

Think twice before you bring your loved one to this company. Staff does not assist residents in any needs. In the 6 months that I've lived here I have caught staff on phones on computers and sleeping

I found this place for my father through, A Place For Moms, and it was all rainbows and sunshine, and all seemed like the perfect place. When we moved my dad in, it turned out to be the complete opposite! There are zero activities that get done. The only interaction residents get with staff is when it's meal time, medication time, or bedtime. My father is an amputee and he has fallen and he had to figure out how to get up on his own because staff would not attend to his buzzer button. I do know this place is under new management currently, but so far they are still terrible. I would never recommend this place to anybody! I could run this place better by myself with zero help. As my title to this review says, don't judge a book by it's cover, because a show(a good one at that) is definitely put on to get your loved one in there, but once in there, it is the worst. The elderly and disabled will die quicker being at this place. I highly will never recommend.

Lack of staff, lack of activities, lack of caring, lack of basic needs being met. They do the bare minimum for the residents, leaving them unattended and many times neglected. No empathy, no compassion, no joy in this place. management is aware but uncaring as well. They do care about one thing and that is the $$$. No one should be treated the way this place treats its residents. This place should be shut down.

Do not use this community. It's the worst. I don't recommend this place but unfortunately, it's the only option up there. The same company has facilities in surrounding cities and I can't imagine they are any better. The management company overworks the staff and they are a revolving door of people that want to do a good job but can't sustain consistently working 12 to 16 hour days. Often one person is working in the facility to provide support, cook, clean and administer medication. Working that many hours puts a risk of being tired and making mistakes.
