Brookdale

We just think Heritage Plaza is the best, the staff are great and so are the residents. We are so glad we decided to move in. My husband and I have never felt so welcomed, by so many people. We would recommend Heritage Plaza to anyone looking for a warm caring home.

My experience here has been very positive. My first time living here with my husband was a very pleasant. I am now back, and I have no complaints. I so often recommend Heritage Plaza to all my friends and my congregation at church.

BrookDale is Amazing The Staff goes be and helping mom make her life managable, The Staff Reminds her to go to meals, events. They drive her to Dr Appts, Shopping, truly amazing Place for Mom

[name removed] and I made the decision to move from our house to assisted living quickly and are so glad we did. We are still in good health but were tired of the chores of a house. Now we haven’t had to go to the grocery store, wash clothes, cook or clean in six weeks! What a blessing!! And we’ve gained weight…lol…you guess why! The staff - every one of them - ALWAYS are positive and never shown frustration with a resident! The staff get along so well with each other and laugh a lot! They help each other in all the work; nobody says “that’s not my job!” Come join us in this new adventure in our new life at Brookdale Kingsport.

The small, family atmosphere and closeness of staff and residents is better than I could have imagined. They are so kind and attentive to my mom and she tells us over and over how happy she is. The staff is also so kind and friendly to our family every time we are there. [name removed] does an email almost every week letting us know things that are going on and they do a fun family event every month. We just could not have picked a better place for my mom.

My mother is very happy there, she has never complained about anything. The staff is wonderful, they care about the residents and their families. Excellence on display everyday.

If you are looking for a community that truly cares about the engagement of their residents, then look no further. Brookdale Summer Ridge has an amazing activity program that includes, poetry writing, tap dancing and multiple outings. I would highly recommend this community to anyone who is searching.

I wish they had more transportation options for seniors who can't drive.It would be much better if podiatrists & other healthcare providers were on site

We placed my father-in-law with Brookdale a few months ago. The staff are amazing! They really helped set our mind at ease and helped us with every step. My father in law was not a very social person, but he acclimated well and is now participating in many daily activities. He really seems so much happier than he had been before he moved here. We’re so happy that he is safe and well cared for.

It was a better experience than I expected with how smooth everything was. The coordination with care and speed of help with getting mother situated was excellent. They accommodated my families needs very well.

My husband and I are happy here. The staff is both competent and caring and they listen to us. Our needs are met quickly. The facility is clean, comfortable, and secure. The meals are pretty good. The only downside is that there is currently no activities director so there isn't much to do lately. We are told that they are trying to fill that position. Overall we are glad we chose Brookdale.

My mother-in-law was living in NY and her health was declining. I needed to move her to NV quicklyl to get the care she needed close to us. I called a place for mom and based off my criteria they narrowed it down to five places which Brookdale was one of them. They got me in for a tour almost right away! The facility was clean and the staff was friendly! They also helped with payment since my mother in law had to pay out of pocket

Ive been here since Oct 2023. The staff is caring, helpful always have a smile on their faces. The activity director always wants to do what we the residents, are interested in foremost. I feel very safe and cared for here at Brookdale, my new home.

Friendly, helpful staff, "homey" environment and excellent nurses! There was often a breakdown of communication with the kitchen on my father's menu order. The facility had agreed he could have his meals in the room, but often times he didn't even have utensils, or it was paper plates and appeared to be leftover food, etc. This was really my only complaint which rectified every time I mentioned it. I just had to do it three or four times repeatedly. I would definitely recommend this place and give it a five star rating. The supreme complement is I would want to go there and be a resident myself someday if needed!

I'm happy with it. I'm close to my family. I love it. I get 3 meals a day and I don't have to do it. My apartment is nice and there are plenty of places to walk.

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Chanate and the overall experience at this facility was great. However, ultimately, my loved one didn't feel that they could count on the medical assistance that was being provided.

I would recommend Brookdale Bellevue and already have to various people considering elder care.

It's a wonderful place and if I had to use it if I had to use it again I would definitely recommend it other people. It's very clean and they do a lot with their resident residence. It's very very nice place to be. I'm happy my mother-in-law was not happy there because she just was bored and wanted constant attention and nursing homes can't do that. They deserve a ton for sure. They are very loving of their residents and treat them as if they were their own family.
