Brookdale

They have always done a great job taking care of my mom. Nothing is perfect in life but they try and succeed at doing a darn good job. We are happy to have her in their care! From the time we brought her up to now 1.5 years later, she is doing the best she can be and they always tell us how much they love her.

We have been happy with our mother -in-law’s care. It is a relief to know she is safe and being loved on. We always have pleasant visits with her. The care she is receiving has been a blessing. She is very happy here!

Parkplace is a great place to live. its clean, comfortable, and secure and the staff are considerate, responsive, and friendly. Also there are a multitude of activities available to the residents. I made the right decision in choosing Parkplace.

I just recently transferred from Independent to Assisted Living. During my transition meeting I didn’t have a chance to ask a question because the staff for every department were there and answered every question possible. My move went well and the move in coordinator was kind and helped set up my TVs and WiFi. Everyone is very friendly. The service is excellent. And the food is good. The staff is always there and willing to help me.

I currently live at Brookdale Brea and everything has been mostly very good for me here so far. The housekeeping is good. The family/resident needs to ask questions. Sometimes they forget to tell you the days for a shower, if needed, or days for the room cleaning and laundry. it's usually done well. There is always someone to help. The food is very good. They really want to help. I do recommend Brookdale Brea.

I love it here & I think its great!

We live out of state and they were very communicative during the move in process and made it very easy despite being physically far away. Whenever we have questions or want an update about how she's doing we can always get ahold of someone.

Good food, good people, take good care of us.

My mother is currently a resident of Brookdale and loves it. The staff and healthcare providers are caring, knowledgeable and follow through with patient care. The location is very well kept and safe. My mother has complemented the food, activities and staff repeatedly. Choosing a residence/ALF is not easy, however, Brookdale helped in every way possible and continues to provide great care.

I think its a very nice place to live. They are great to take us to stores & appointments. Help us if we need with something.

Love Brookdale! Staff takes great care of my mom. She seems to be happy. I think that mom is in the best place for her.

Moved mom here from another nice facility. Reason, this place is specialized in memory care. The place is ALWAYS clean. People here are kind and attentive to my mother. The dining hall smells great! My mom is well taken care of.

The team does a tremendous job caring for all the residents and they keep everyone communicating and connected!

We are very happy with Brookdale Denton South. We picked the community because it was clean, the setup, and it was very informative people.

My spouse has been at Brookdale for 3 months. I was initially impressed with how the staff worked well together in their compassionate approach to the residents. I’m grateful that we have our “home away from home” at Brookdale.

My parents were 96 when they moved in. I wanted them physically closer to us and for me to be able to pop in to see them. I wanted them to embrace community living since they were struggling to maintain independence and still required each other to accomplish that. The general facility is extremely clean and welcoming. Nothing to suggest that this is an older residents home. Food- [name removed] the chef is willing to work with dietary needs but I’ve snuck some of the soup and it’s delicious!!! No complaints on the menu. But it’s the staff that makes it home. On assisted living, the nurses are amazing. They field calls from every angle and continue to be kind! Even calls that you would cringe at- get answered without making the residents feel bad. I’m so grateful to you ladies! Housekeeping- a real sweetheart! We just lost Dad and are downsizing and [names removed] are making every effort to make the journey easier. I’m very grateful to have found such a good home for them.

I like the food here. Can sometimes be noisy sometimes when they bus tables but servers are friendly. Overall it’s a friendly place. The chef makes the best soup but it can run out because a lot of people order it and with the shortage of everything. I like playing Bocce Ball and going to some other programs. The staff are helpful and the service is good. My vision is getting worse, so having the magnifier in the library is nice. It helps me get out of my apartment too. My wife’s vision isn’t good either but the bus takes us to Wheaton Eye Clinic. We found out about the community through the Glen Ellyn Park District because we helped call Bingo and were involved for many years. Brookdale Glen Ellyn (used to be The Meadows) would bring us a big plate of cookies!

I have felt that my Mama has been very well taken care of, since the first day she came to Brookdale. She has needed more assistance as she’s been here, but I am proud to say that the staff at Brookdale is top notch! Thankful for everyone at Brookdale, and I don’t worry about Mama since being at Brookdale.
