Brookdale

The staff are wonderful and call you by name. When I first moved in, I thought bingo would be stupid, but turns out it is very stimulating for your brain and now I look forward to it

Our dad and mom moved into Brookdale approximately 2 weeks ago. Our mom had been in the hospital with poor health and then transferred to a rehab facility where after a week my siblings and I knew we had to do something. She weighed 101 when she was admitted into the hospital but between her days of hospitalization & rehab she had lost to a horrific weight of 85. We just knew we would lose her. We discharged her from rehab directly to Brookdale. She is now eating great, starting to gain weight, she and my dad go to bingo, they attend exercise classes, and staff found her dancing in the halls. The staff can't believe this. We all thought that if she did make it, it would take a while to get her health back as well as her sweet personality. She had basically gone into depression before coming to Brookdale. Dad and mom love it. I told some of the staff that God and Brookdale saved her life. My dad had been confined to a wheelchair but is now walking some. The staff are wonderful.

I have lived here for more than two years and they have been very good years. They are all like family to me and are very helpful I would highly recommend this place to you. The food is delicious! Move here.

The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. It was recommended. They need more staff, especially at night.

The only complaint I have is that it was difficult for my husband in a wheelchair to get in and out of the outside doors. They need a coded keypad with disabled access doors. We both liked the lightness and airiness of the place.

I believe BrookDale is the finest retirement community in the state of Texas or any other state . I really enjoy my life here as I am not able to take care of myself safely. We are like a large family both my fellows and staff. The programs every day are outstanding both pure entertainment and learning. When we lose a friend through passing we all grieve??????

We had to engage hospice for my dad while in the hospital. Unfortunately several assisted living places would not take dad due to a medical issue he had. We reached out to Brookdale Sugar Land and they said they could handle the task with no problem. Dad was there for only 3 days till he passed away. Everyone from the directors to cleaning were understanding and compassionate towards our needs.

Best of everything over the others. Its a great place! I would absolutely recommend to others.

I feel so lucky my husband is a resident at Brookdale West Eisenhower. He receives excellent care for his many physical issues in addition to compassionate dementia care. I have peace of mind during this challenging stage in our lives and can focus on what we can still enjoy together.

You will always have clear communication from the staff & management. 1000% could not give a better rating for a memory care!

What our family likes the most about the Brookdale Shawnee is the friendliness of the staff members there. They are so helpful to the residents. The community is clean and again the staff seem to really care about the residents. [name removed] is the best. We would recommend Brookdale Shawnee to other families based our experience.

This community - Brookdale Colonial Heights is BY FAR the very BEST assisted living facility I've found! The staff is amazing! It's clean, the food is unbeatable! My father is SO happy. If we could give it a 10 (5+++) we would!

Meals are very good but dining services is slow. I picked this community because of the size of apartment, and price.

I have had multiple loved ones be in this Community. They all have been pleased with the care they have received. I enjoy having the staff give me updates frequently. When I arrived, I had been at another place for 4 1/2 years. There is NO comparison. Here the associates are here for you you. They are organized and have my needs met. Also, the food is carefully prepared. Friendly services and healthy. People care here and know who you are.

Providing movers that are familiar with the facility. Just able to lend a ear to family if we needed concern with move The additional assistance they provided for mom. Most importantly the emotional support we received from the staff. Understanding the big environment change effecting moms move from house to apartment. The staff and residents so inviting to new residents . I was afraid of the dinning room because I did not want to eat by my self. My first day several resident ask me to sit at their table. The people are so kind and helpful with getting around the facility.

This is a wonderful place to live. The staff will bend over backwards to help and the food is great! I am always amazed at the fun things going on and love to swim in the heated pool. People are very friendly and welcoming too.

I have lived at Brookdale Gaines Ranch for 2 years and have been very happy here! Both the staff and residents are so friendly and are all happy with great attitudes! Staff go out of their way to help with anything you may need! Every department head are accommodating and just love to please the residents! I love living here at Gaines Ranch! I give it a 10!!
