Brookdale

Brookdale Midland will be a great choice for my sister. She has a few physical frailties that need assisted living, and Brookdale has care that will be able to handle them. She is a dog lover and they have a "Community" dog on the premises that will afford her much pleasure as well as opportunity to train, since she used to train German Shepherds in her past years. Midland also provides family connections and Brookdale's address is close by and easily accessible. the staff has been VERY outgoing and we look forward to her becoming a part of their community. Thanks to Places for Mom for being our first contact. [Removed] has been very helpful in helping us find this place! Kudos for your expertise in this regard!

I have received friendliness. The employs care for you. The residents are happy and friendly. The campus is well kept as are the apartments. They are pet friendly.

The care at this community. The staff are outstanding and caring to her needs. The menu is very nice We like knowing that she does like the meals that are served. We like that a doctor will come in to see her. I like that she is busy with the activities. We would highly recommend this community for the outstanding care and value

On the tour I liked what I saw there. However, the price was high and they were in a location that was not easily convenient.

Mom is currently in the assisted living area of this community. They do offer a memory care unit called crossroads that she may have to transfer to. Crossroads will allow her to get more individualized care. They have a calendar of daily activities. The staff is genuinely kind and this has been wonderful. They have good well balanced meals and a bar with snacks available all day. I would recommend this community.

We toured this community. We did not like the multi level community. The staff was nice and able to answer the questions. The environment was not what we wanted. The menu and the activities were appealing for the residents. We would recommend that families tour this community for care for a loved one.

Brookdale Skeet Club is a beautiful and clean community, with just the right homey feel for my mother in law. The staff is friendly and caring and attentive to her care needs. There are plenty of activities that the staff encourages her to engage with the other residents and teaching her to communicate in ways such as with an iPad. There are nice walkways to enjoy the outdoor, seating available to relax and enjoy the company of other residents, or sit quietly and enjoy the surroundings. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Skeet Club to friends and family.

Beautiful community if you are dependent it's a plus! The assisted living area is very nice but quite small and my mom is very social. Looking for something bigger.

Brookdale Port Orange is a wonderful place, very clean and so welcoming to residents and their families. The food is very good, I have dined there with my mom and they offer a wide variety of choices. The part that really impressed me was the chef took extra care with my mom and tailoring her food so that she could eat without any issues, he actually helped to feed her himself! There are plenty of activities that she enjoys, gym, a yoga movement class, and of course Bingo. There is a great room where the residents gather for entertainment and activities where my mom is making new friends all the time. This community is very secure where she cannot leave, but the great thing is she does not want to leave! We've have decorated her room and it is very lovely and homey. I would definitely recommend Brookdale to friends and family.

We are happy with the care from this community. We like knowing that it is nearby. The staff are caring and attentive. The menu offers healthy meals. They have alot of good activites. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one for the good value and care

Overall our experience with Brookdale was wonderful. [Removed] and the entire 3rd floor medical tech staff was outstanding. Very caring people and genuinely want what is best for all of the residents. We really felt like they were all part of our family and took great care of our grandmother during her short stay. They even had her eating things that she refused to eat for the past 40 years. And, she loved them! The chefs and the other kitchen staff members were very kind to her. She spoke highly of them often. I do caution the use of Doctors Making House Calls which sounds like a really good thing but our experience was not the best. All I can say is stay on top of their services (Doctors Making House Calls) and have constant communication set up prior to them visiting your loved one.

My friend is still getting adjusted to living at this community. She does not like the food, however she is able to make her own food in her apartment. The staff and the resident are all friendly and she has started making friends. She likes to attend some of the performances that have come in to entertain. The community is well maintained and they will work with you on the financing. I would recommend this community.

Very nice facility and friendly staff. Loved the bigger apartment but it was sold the next day. I loved the kitchen bar in the dining room for cooking demos! Friendly residents and overall a favorite of all we looked at.

Very nice facility and wonderful staff. Clean, bright, pretty, and nice rooms but a little smaller than we wanted. Easy to find this community with views of the mountains.

Everything has been going just fine so far! The staff are great and the facility looks very nice! This living situation and transition has worked out very well for the whole family!

My in-laws are doing great. The community is just awesome and the villas they are in awesome too. Any questions we have are answered. We like the advantages of my in-laws having their own home and they are in an upscale area that they can afford. The greenery of the grounds is lovely, the cleanliness of the community and dining room is great. It is like a resort style atmosphere. They have safety and have housekeeping to clean weekly. They are eating the meals they cook and they are starting to participate in some activities. We have no complaints.

I had a nice tour of this community. Everything went well for the most part. From what I saw the community looked very nice but I felt that the location was not the best for us.
