Brookdale

The staff is doing a great job with mom. The food is good and mom loves it. They do offer a lot of activities however, I don't know if mom has gotten involved yet. This is just a great community and I would recommend it.

We have been very impressed with the care my mother is receiving from the Brookdale Tyler East. The staff and caregivers are great, they are very attentive and overly concerned. They are always checking on my mother. The building is always kept very clean, and the housekeeping washes all of my mother's clothes. The meals are great if my mother doesn't like what they make, they make her something else. They are very encouraging on her eating as well.

The management and employees are the best and the smiles and happy residences are the result of their care. It is a rocky path locating my mother in law in a assisted living facility but except for a move in confusion the experience is far, far better than I had ever expected. The parking for guests states "Future Resident" and this just may be a reality as this has changed my feeling of these facilities for ever. What a warm, caring place for your parents or loved one this is the place.

Christmas caroling s greeted us in the lobby. Everyone was grinning. Our guide was energetic and informative. There are lots of activities here it was a good place for dad and mom

Very warm, welcoming community. Interviewed and videoed 3 residents who were very happy with their home. Staff was friendly, helpful and committed to Brookdale. Room was a good size, very clean, and amenities well thought out. Would not hesitate to have my Mother here.

Was a breath of fresh air. Professional staff. Friendly residents. Very nice facility. When trials and tribulations come to a loved one who is in their elder years. The business Model these people have is first class. My mother has regained her virtue, which is suppose to happen. These folks helped make that happen.

We enjoyed our tour but we realized that mom is not really ready for assisted living.

I couldn't have asked for a better community. It is well managed and clean throughout. The staff are excellent, very helpful and cooperative. My uncle has transitioned very well . For all the cooperation and moving him in on short notice they were outstanding. The activities are good for my uncle and he is a good eater and has not had an issue with the meals. I think it could be more nutritional.

As you can tell I was quite impressed with this facility and their staff. My mother has been in 3 other facilities and I would rate this one above and beyond any. The facility itself makes one feel at home the minute you walk in and the atmosphere is such as well. I appreciate the opportunity to have my mother experience this and wish I had known of this facility sooner. Thank you to all the staff!!

When my husband and I toured this place, it was our top choice. We tried to find something we did not like but we couldn't! The place is clean and well maintained and all of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The reason we did not choose it is because they did not have a memory care unit, and my mother was looking like she might need it soon at the time.

I have never been through anything like this. This is the first time I have ever been directly involved with dementia. When I was told that I had 24 hours to move my mother out of our local rehab facility, all I could do is cry. I reached out to every local nursing home and didn't even get a call back. I stumbled across A Place for Mom, which lead me to BEP-West in Auburn Although my mom isn't the most accepting of help, (let's face it, she is like holding a wet cat) their staff has been so supportive of her, and might I say, of myself! This whole process has been so overwhelming. Getting feed back from the staff has validated some of my own feelings and it encourages me. The family loves the facility and the programs available. The common areas are helpful to our family because we can 'visit' and not feel like we are around her as if she was in a hospital bed. I can't say enough. [Removed], [Removed] and [Removed] (to name a few) do yeoman's work for their clients. The personal care attendants, custodial, housekeeping and kitchen staff are friendly, knowledgeable and care for the residents entrusted to their care. I know she is safe and with people that will help. THANK YOU!

We had a great visit. We found out the information that we needed to make a decision. We have signed paperwork and hopefully will place her on Wednesday of this week.

We have been incredibly impressed with the staff and entire community experience at Brookdale Ormond Beach. The facility is spotless, food is great and everyone from the executive director to the nursing assistants seem to like each other and, more importantly, the folks who live there. Even when we've had minor concerns they have been addressed immediately and thoroughly. It's a great place for my dad, even though he's still getting used to the idea. He's safe, he's well cared for and we're very grateful.

My mother is doing well at this community. Since her move here everything has worked out very well. This is a nice community, everything is neat and tidy. The staff is wonderful, they are caring for her very well. I know she is safe and in good hands here. I would recommend this community, it is a nice place.

The staff keeps us informed on how my mother in law is doing. When she has really good days they tell us as well. There are plenty of activities available to her for when she gets more comfortable as well. The meals are good, and the place is kept clean and maintained well. I couldn't ask for better.
