Brookdale

Mom has speech, balance and memory issues due to a stroke 15+ years ago and struggling at home alone so it was time to get her some fulltime help. We were skeptical about Assisted Living for all the traditionally negative reasons, but during our tour of Brookdale North Loveland we became more and more comfortable. Megan, the Exec Director, was incredibly personable and made us feel like long lost cousins. Mom moved-in about 3 weeks ago and doing really well. The staff watch over her and the other residents with care and dignity. Being in a community vs. home alone seems to have rejuvenated her social side as she is a "people person"; the staff comment on her bright smile and sunny disposition. We feel assured that her needs are taken care of, that she is safe and especially that she is happy. Many thanks for all at Brookdale North Loveland!

This place is amazing! I work for Brookdale in Gilbert and my grandparents just moved into this community. They really welcomed them and were very helpful with all concerns. As a Team member I know what is protocol and what is going above and beyond. I did not tell anyone that my Grandparents were looking into this community because I wanted to know what the ugly truth was. Grandma came back and said that everyone there was so kind and stopped to talk to her. She was pleased with how well the place was kept and how hard everyone worked make this difficult decision a little easier. Working in this field gives me the upper hand, however this community has clearly gone above and beyond even what my high expectations are. Thank you Brookdale Apache Junction!!

Amy and the group here were very helpful with my parents. This was a big change for them leaving their house of 40+ years. Everything was super clean and setup as they asked with the new paint and carpet. Move in went great and the opportunity for them to have great meals ready for them each day and still be able to get out in the community is great. They are in the independent living area and enjoying this new adventure in their life. I truly recommend looking into Brookdale Newnan and what they provide. This is affordable for my parents with all that is provided in the amenities of Brookdale. Get by to visit for yourself and you will not be upset that you looked at Brookdale for your family member(s).

I have my father-in-law living at this community. I enjoy the staff who are always helping and caring for my father-in-law. The community is kept clean, no issues. The meal provided are good with right-size portion and if my father-in-law wants more, he can have more. Activities are available but I feel there could be more to add. I am happy with the care her and I would recommend this place.

Everyone is very helpful in helping my mom to adj to her new place. my mom has adj really well and has only been there for 2wks, which made me feel really at ease and trusting their hands with my mom. i would recomend Brookdale to anyone who looking for the perfect place for their parents. thank you to all the staff.

We recently moved my parents to Brookdale from independent living. The first few weeks of transition for them was difficult, but the staff at Brookdale were so patient, caring and wonderful with them. It was a difficult decision for my siblings and I to make the decision to move them to assisted living. But we are so happy we did. The staff at Brookdale is wonderful, They are always available to answer my questions and go the extra mile to make my parents feel like it is their home. I feel like I have had the bricks lifted from my shoulders knowing, they are safe and well taken care and any emergency can be handled by their excellent staff.

It is a friendly, comfortable environment. My father-in-law was hesitant to move into an assisted living facility, but once he visited Horizon Bay he couldn't wait to live there. It has only been one week since his move in, but he is making friends and joining in the activities. He says the cooking is better than mine! My husband and I are glad he is happy and safe. That is most important to us.

They have taken excellent care of my sister, and such a friendly place. Very happy we have chosen Brookdale Farmington Hills North.

I received help from Debbi [removed] in finding this community. We moved my children's father into Brookdale last week. He is very comfortable and likes the facility. The staff is very caring and they have many activities for the residents. The room he is sharing is very nice and he said the food is very good. I toured 2 other assisted living homes before choosing Brookdale. We feel this is the best place for him and we know he is being well cared for by the staff at Brookdale.

For a short time my mom stayed at this community and she was the happiest she could be. The staff made her so comfortable by bringing her meals to her room. My mom's personal care worker was there to assist in her needs. The staff helped my mom's care worker with all the was needed. During Mom's stay the care worker reported to me daily that everything was going good.

Our experience with Brookdale Grand Court has been a very good one, we're really enjoying it here! I'd give them high marks across the board! It's a nice looking place, the people are very friendly, and they were a big help to us throughout the whole move-in process. I'd highly recommend them!

Katelyn is wonderful and has been in the situation I am in. She made me feel comfortable and actually cried with me as I talked about my mom. They were able to assess my mom same day and quickly make arrangements for her.

I have been working with this community to have my mom live here. The director is professional, friendly, and very responsive to all my calls. I was able to see the pictures of the community and found it to be real nice. My mom and sister took the tour and they like the community. It seems there are lots of activities available. I have no complaints about the beginning transition.

My husband is staying here at this place, which has been going pretty good. The staff are friendly and welcoming and allow me to call my husband anytime. The staff do their best to make my husband happy and entertained during his transition. I have ate with him and the food is tasty, fresh, portioned, and meet his diet needs. I have no worries and I am pleased with this happy community. I would recommend them.

This community is so bright and airy, it has a lovely out door backyard and a big nice patio. The staff are extremely accommodating and involved with my mom. The community offers plenty of activities like live music, exercising, and singing from guests. My mom has improved so much, she is now talking, walking, and writing! This community make mom feel so comfortable and I would definitely recommend this community

Mom is settling in at this community. The staff are friendly and work well with the residents and their families. The food is good and there are activities for the residents to enjoy. This community is clean and I would recommend it.

A Place For Mom is amazing and we appreciate everything, following through with agreements and being so helpful every moment along the way. This community is so beautiful and clean with amazing staff, which is small but they are always concerned, attentive, and on top of everything. My mom enjoys her meals but the menu does need special diet options too. Mom likes to play cards, go to the movies and is happy with all the activities. I would highly, absolutely recommend this commuinty.

The staff at Brookdale Mandarin are attentive, very nice and patient. The staff was one of the reasons we chose this community. I have tried the food and it is good. The community is clean and well taken care of. Mom is still settling in but has participated in a few of the activities. I would recommend this community.

The administrative staff went over and beyond my expectations in helping us to get my dad settled in a critical time. It was very short notice, and they were able to get him settled. The director has been helpful getting him situated with his medical needs. You can tell for them it's a calling, not just a job. They treat and interact the residents wonderfully. The food was better the first time then the second time. They have a nice variety of options to choose from on every menu, and resident's can make suggestions. I was extremely impressed with this community, top to bottom.
