Brookdale

Brookdale Dublin is a phenomenal assisted living home. The only problem is that they are under staffed and do not have house keepers. The care staff is obligated to clean everything and take care of the residents. Also, about 75% of the residents there should be in skilled nursing facilities. (most are confined to wheel chairs and can't do anything for themselves which is not the definition of "assisted"). The care staff is more than wonderful. They each love and take great care of every single resident in the building. You will not get the same level of care in a bigger facility. Yes, it is very pricey, but you get what you pay for. I would not bring my loved one anywhere else.

They go out of their way to give my loved one better care than he has had in the past. There probably could be more communication amongst themselves. They do the best they can, but they are busy all the time. Maybe they need a debriefing in between shifts where people leave off.

My mom could hardly walk when she came in now she is doing great. Walks good gets her pills -- feels better and has gained weight too! The staff encourages her to do things. Takes great care of her.

Our experience with Wynwood of Grand Blanc (now Brookdale) was very good. They were very helpful in making the transition, and even during the search process they were very good at following up with us and answering all of our questions. They are very caring and compassionate. I am very happy that I made the choice to go with them.

They took really good care of my mother-in-law. They did a good job, they got her involved with the other people in order to make her feel like family. That was very kind of them. The food was very good, everybody was very nice. Overall the experience was good.

Brookdale Sunwest was very accommodating and they were really helpful. We live in a different city and they were just wonderful in getting him in and getting him situated. The facility is a great place.

The Lanier Place is very nice. The people are nice. Everything has been going good. The communication with the staff could improve. Other than that, I haven't had any issues. The parking and location is good. The food is good. I would recommend the Lanier Place to anyone in the Cumming area. It has been a really good experience so far. I can't rate the activities because it is not applicable. I don't participate in them.

we are really happy here at Brookdale Sunwest. They have a lot of really good activities. The food is very good. The dinner we had tonight was a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and was as good of a meal you would get anywhere. I am very happy here. My husband and I both like it. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but everybody has been very nice and friendly. I have no complaints. My husband and I both agree that this was a very good move.

They are doing a good job. We have no complaints so far, at all. It's adorable, and you can take your own furniture, so it feels more like home. Everyone is really friendly, and we are just thrilled. She is very happy so far as well, and that is what is important.

My mother in law is living at Brookdale Overland Park and they have been great. Everybody has been really friendly. They did a great job helping to get my mother in law in there. They have been very helpful, and everything they said they would do they have delivered on.

We're very pleased with how things have gone at Brookdale Tyler. The staff here are very friendly and caring, and they've been very accommodating to my loved one's needs. The medication service has been very reliable as well, which is something we've had problems with at other places. Overall we're just very happy with the service!

Shortly after my mom passed away, my dad’s health deteriorated to the point that he required assistance with the activities of daily living. He was in-and-out of rehabilitation facilities for a while but we soon realized that he did not require a full service nursing home but instead needed only a few services, and more importantly, a place to live that he could consider his own. Brookdale (formerly Wynwood) is a perfect fit for dad. First, he has a beautiful apartment, all to himself, that is a true “home”. Also, Brookdale offers their services on an “a la carte” basis, allowing us to add or remove services as dad’s condition and needs fluctuate. Dad is very happy at Brookdale. He has made many friends there (with residents and staff alike) and participates in as many social events and outings as he can! For me, it’s comforting to have peace of mind that dad is happy and well cared for… thank you Brookdale.

They were very good. Very kind and compassionate. My father lived five days after moving into Brookdale Littleton and they made the last week of his life as pleasant as can be. I would very highly recommend them to anyone who has a parent in a similar situation.

We came from a nursing home setting to the assisted living setting at Emeritus at Shreveport (now Brookdale) and it has been a very good transition. We have been so pleased with it. Everybody treats her with dignity and respect. They go out of their way to make sure she is comfortable and happy.

Unfortunately, we did not get to use Brookdale Champions very long as my father unexpectedly took a downward turn in his health. He was only there for a month and three days. We really loved the care there and wished that it had been a longer stay. One thing I will say that the last 5 days my father was there with Hospice care and the staff at Champions went over the top in taking care of him. I appreciate all the love and care that they have shown to him and to my family.

Our experience with Wynwood of Troy was only a very brief one, but I thought they seemed like a nice place overall. The facility was clean and well kept and they took good care of my loved one for the time she was there.

They treat the residents very well, treating them like people with dignity, and getting to know them by name. The facility itself is very nice. It has more of a home like feel than a hospital feel that other places have. It is very nice and just a good place. I am very glad I found it.

So far it's working out well. It's very clean, and the staff is friendly. They respond pretty quickly if the button is pushed. There are plenty of activities and things to do. I would give the food about a four. I do feel that I get my money's worth. We chose based on the location. They are remodeling and the construction can be a bit of a pain at times. I would rate them very highly so far, though.

It was pretty painless. They had all the information and were real friendly getting everything set up and all. I don't see how they could have done much more. They had all the answers to our questions. The food some days is better than other days.

They are doing great. The only thing I would like to see, is keeping the residents hydrated. Just offering more fluids throughout the day would be my only suggestion. It's clean and the staff is friendly. I don't have any complaints about food or anything like that at all.
