Brookdale

It seems to be going pretty good. I am happy with what they are doing. It's an Alzheimer's unit so things could always be a little smoother, or tidier, but I think they are doing a good job.

Very very clean, well attended activities and we liked the small atmosphere. We are currently struggling with the cost.

I moved my aunt to Brookdale Rome from another state so she would be closer to family. The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. The cafeteria offers four entrees daily and always has some sandwich options as well. There are daily exercise sessions in the morning and other activities in the afternoon. Outings to the surroundings areas are offered once or twice a week. I am very satisfied with the level of care she is receiving. There are options for additional care services if she needs them later.

Absolutely love this community for my dad! He was so lonely at home, and now he has a busy schedule everyday. He has made lots of friends in the Independent living side. The food is definitely improving now that there's a new director. They just updated the whole place, new carpets, painting, fixtures, etc. Looks great! He has a regular apartment with washer/dryer/dishwasher. Their apartments are larger than others I've seen. The campus is large but my dad figured out his way around after a week or two. It's not home but it's the best next option. Now he says he feels likes he has a life again. The staff are friendly and efficient. Plus, it makes me happy to know that there's round the clock staff there, and he can add on medical care in his apt if he needs to later. Sure, this place is more expensive than others, but you get what you pay in jax! And this place is worth it.

I have been a resident here for a little bit, and it is well worth the money. Staff will go out of their way to entertain the us, and the food is also very good. The community is well worth what I am paying, in fact it is cheaper than the last place I lived. I am very happy and content here.

I helped a friend, I chose Brookdale over other communities because of the wonderful people, the good food, great location and a lot of amenities

As a Family member, I thought that this was a very positive environment for my loved one. Everyone was super friendly and really warm and caring to my loved one; comforting her whenever she was down. I recall an instance where my loved one was upset and crying one day. When I went to visit, I found the custodian comforting my loved one because they witnessed how sad my loved one was and needed a shoulder. I had looked at six different places around the area before choosing Emeritus. I was one hundred percent happy and am still very happy with the way they show compassion.

Awesome. I felt at home and knew they had time for my Mom. I thought she would like any of the rooms and would feel comfortable here. I know there will be change for her--all of us--but it is quality of life I want ====not quantity. If I can get both, I will be more than happy. If it is possible, Brookdale Kerrville IS the place.

My mother is very happy. She has a nice big room and its very homey she is really happy. One of the directors said my mother had adjust better than anyone else there. Absolutely everybody there are really friendly. Any questions I or anyone else have had have been taken care of right a way. I told the nurse to check on my mother and they went in immediately. She is very in love with the meals, she thinks its fabulous.

My friend moved into Brookdale North in Mesa and at first I was concerned that a "shared" apartment may be too small. A roommate moved in and I'm happy to say that she is thrilled with having the company and has made another friend. My overall impression with this community is great. There are lots of activities and she has participated in things like crafts, bingo, games and has used the transportation to go shopping. She has several doctors and they see her there. Brookdale North does accept pets but the cost was prohibitive. My friend is wheelchair bound and needs help with medication management, getting a shower and getting dressed. The caretakers are good and take good care of her. The community is close to me, which allows for me to visit often. The only drawback may be the cost. She was able to get in on a special rate for a set amount of time, but after that the cost goes up substantially. My friend is waiting for Veteran Benefits to be approved, so that will help. I would recommend Brookdale North.

They've done a fantastic job at Emeritus at Creekview so far, we're very pleased with them. They just seem to understand my loved ones needs, and know how to handle any situation that comes up. The staff are all very friendly and caring. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take great care of the people who live here.

My mom and dad moved in during August, 2012. They were welcomed and allowed to stay together as they had been married 70 years. My dad was under hospice care and other facilities wanted him admitted to a skilled nursing and my mom in assisted living. We, along with Emeritus staff, agreed that they must stay together. Emeritus staff helped and supported their lives together and we were able to have two more wonderful months with my mom and dad together and surrounded by family.

Things are going great! We are very pleased with Brookdale. I would rate them highly give them five stars.

We've had a good experience with Brookdale Weddington Park! All of the employees seem very friendly! It is well managed, and the aide staff are caring and professional. The entire place just has a very positive atmosphere!

Our family recently placed my husband at Clare Bridge in FH. The staff is exceptional and treat the residents with love and respect. The facility is lovely, the dining room area is always clean and the food is very good. There are many activities to keep you as busy as you want to be. Plus they bring in outside entertainment for the residents weekly. I highly recommend this facility.

Things have gone very well overall with The Heritage of Raleigh, both myself and my loved one have been completely satisfied. My loved one started off on a short respite stay, intending to search for other options in the area, but she liked it enough here that she decided to stay! The staff here is very friendly, and the facility itself is always well kept and clean.

My mother is so very happy here. The apartments are wonderful and the views the best. There are so many places to walk, so many good friends, and so many things to do. I don;t know of any place like it in Colorado. It doesn't matter what is needed it is offered. We are very please with the decision my mother, as is she, to live to Skyline.

My father is very happy. The staff have tried very hard to make him feel useful. He has done Santa gigs for years, so the staff asked him to dress as Santa for the Christmas. There is a picture of him in the main lounge area. They also have him teaching a Bible study on Tues. (He is a retired pastor.) Feeling useful is very important to all of us, especially to older men, I believe.

They are great. I don't have any complaints at all. They are doing a terrific job. The girls like him, and he likes the girls. They are doing a great communicating with us, and working with him. They are just wonderful.
