Brookdale

Caring staff, good food, great programs! My mother is happy and content and receives the special care she needs for dementia. Brookdale is definitely a cut above.

The nursing staff is an awesome, strong, disciplined support group and I couldn't do without them. They make sure that my mother is comfortable. The staff has made it a great transition for her.

It has been an adjustment for us. The staff and residents have been very friendly. My loved one feels comfortable here and he already considers it home. I would recommend the Brookdale Carriage Club.

A very good and nice place. I wished I could of had my mom there earlier. It was a much better place for her. This is the nicest place I have seen. We have a positive experience here. Very nice.

We have not been with Sterling House of Canton too long, but so far things are going very well. They are very efficient, and make the residents feel like they are at home. The staff there are all super friendly. They put a lot of time and care into what they are doing. All in all of all the places that I looked at, this one seemed to be the most homelike and with the most caring staff.

The Brookdale Lake Mary is very friendly and very welcoming. It is a comfortable place for my parents. They have an excellent staff. This is a nice community. I would recommend the Brookdale Lake Mary.

I led the search for a memory care community for my brother who suffered from Lewy Body Dementia. When I initially walked into Clare Bridge of Eagan and met their staff, I felt this was the best place for him. Although my brother Mark passed away after a very short time at Clare Bridge, we were very impressed with the staff and facility. The interaction and communication with all the residents was excellent.

They were so responsive to getting him in and getting him in there quickly. They were very very helpful. We were able to get him in there within a day. It is a very clean well kept place with excellent helpful friendly staff. I do think he might could use a little more attention every now and then. For example his nails are a little unkept and could use some attention. Just a few little things like that. Overall though it really has been a great experience.

We toured both sides, the assisted living and the memory care. On the assisted living side, I would give them all fives, but on the memory care side, we just felt uncomfortable. The residents there looked like they were drugged and laying around. I understand that's not the community's fault, but it made me, and especially my husband, feel uneasy. We were there right before supper, so most of the residents were sitting and watching T.V., and there were some ladies playing Wii. They have an activity calendar, and offered us to look it over. I was impressed by Audrey, the girl who gave us the tour. She was very friendly, and remembered me a couple of weeks later, when I ran into her at the store. She remembered my name and asked about our loved one. That meant a lot to us. If in the future we do have to choose a place, it would be this one. Compared to others, it's the best we have toured, but there is always room for improvement.

I am very happy with all aspects of Sterling House of Canton. The facility enabled me to create a personal living space for my mom while giving her the daily services she requires - assistance with her needs, companionship, and activities. The staff is professional and accommodating while displaying true affection for the clients and families.

I have been pleased so far. Especially the quality of the people. It's still new, and a big adjustment for mom, but I am happy with them so far. They are pretty comparable in price to other places around.

We selected Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens as a temporary place for our uncle following an illness so he could recover his strength with assistance. After a week, he asked if he could stay permanently so we happily converted him to permanent resident. Brookdale's staff is friendly, helpful and engaging with the residents. The residents are all friendly, happy and busy in the many activities available. My uncle calls his new home "Shangri-La" and has blossomed with all the positive interactions with everyone. His strength has improved immensely as he has participated in yoga and chair volleyball among other activities and even resumed playing piano which he had given up due to weakness in his arms. He is happy and safe so we are as pleased as we can be! He also greatly enjoys the sessions discussing "Life's Big Questions" and writing his life story so the mind is exercised every bit as much as the body. The facility is a block from the beach and he walks along the coast as part of his therapy. His engagement in life is renewed and we are so pleased - thank you Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens!

All the staff is very friendly! When there is problems they are handled in timely matter. Most of the time when I leave a message for someone to call back they do so.

My sister has lived there for 2 months, and is very happy with the staff and facility. The food is adequate and healthy, altho supper could be improved. It is skimpy and not always cooked to satisfaction.

We are still new to Clare Bridge of Middleton but we are so happy with it. Dad is doing so much better and I have never met a more friendly staff anywhere. They go out of their way to help you and to introduce themselves. Very nice.

My hats off to Brookdale Arvada for doing as well as they do. I am up here several times each week and am always impressed with the place. The staff here is wonderful, always extremely friendly and very helpful.

I think they could stand to improve both the quality and quantity of the activities. It would be good if they had activities that were more engaging, and more of them. That is the main area for improvement that I can think of. Other than that everything with Prosperity Oaks has been a very positive experience. It's a nice place and the staff there is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

After seeing several facilities Southland seem to fit our dad the best. The staff was friendly and sincere. They were very accommodating to his needs (he is blind). We wanted him to be on a ground floor and there was a room available. They check on residents often during the day and night and we were comfortable knowing our dad was in good hands. We live out of state and the communication is excellent with the staff. There are plenty of activities available if you choose to participate.

Colonial Park was a wonderful choice for my brother, it allows him the freedom to come and go and yet he gets what he needs daily from this wonderful staff. I could have easily given this review a full FIVE stars but I don't think any place or facility is perfect, always room for improvement. Thanking this wonderful administration & staff for their caring attitude and for a great first month of service. I am resting easier knowing that my brother is well taken care of at Colonial Park.

I found everyone to be very pleasant and helpful during this move with my mom. It make things so much easier.
