Overall it is very good except that they were not a Medicaid buy down facility which is what had asked for. It is very clean and nice. Staff were excellent, very friendly. Care was top notch. Meals were not to my Mom's liking, but she's very particular. My Mom greatly enjoyed the activities. It seemed expensive but relative to the facility and care wasn't too out of line.

They have been doing pretty good so far. It's pretty clean, and the staff is friendly. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. They take good care of her though. I really liked that the rooms were quite large, larger than a lot of them that I looked at.

They're fantastic - the facility is more modernistic but the decor is incredible. It's right across the street from the Bothell Senior Center (there's a pancake breakfast every Saturday morning) and it's 3 blocks from downtown Bothell. The only thing that kept us from moving in here was that they didn't have an opening until December. They have an internal transfer service that gives people who already live in a sister community priority for rooms in any other community there.

The facility is very nice, clean and well organized. They seem to be very caring and focused on their residents. The move in process went well; they worked with us in getting things done. Food is good; shuttle is accommodating. Follow up was/is a bit of an issue but overall a great facility.

Staff are very helpful, especially the servers, front desk and maintenance people.

We toured several other senior living facilities before touring Chateau at Valley Center. We chose the Chateau because of their warm and caring approach to senior living. Our mom is able to live independently with moderate dimentia and the staff at Valley made it easy for her to transition into daily life. Our mom loves Valley and has been doing significantly better since she became a resident. We are happy we made the decision to go with Valley. There may not be many good facilities out there but this definitely a gem.

That was very nice but it was just too big. There were too many people and multiple floors. It would be too confusing for someone who is in the beginning stages of dementia. It was a very nice place though.

Next to Senior Center and shops downtown Bothell. Also has pool and theater in-house. Mom would love this! Plan to check out next weekend. Drop by OK but may schedule anyway.

Liked the facility. Location traffic too busy.

Great bedroom views. Saw only units with washer/driers. Crowded at dinnertime 4:30 - 6:15.Crystal on tables. Linen and towel service. Two meals. Right off 99 by Mukilteo.

This is a nice facility that caters to the needs of independent, assisted living and memory care individuals. I don't recommend this place for memory care since that area seemed lifeless with residents just sitting in front of a TV and no real activities going on. The memory care staff seemed uninspired and just went through the motions. The list of activities available for independent and assisted living seniors seemed very robust which was in stark contrast to what was in memory care. Since the corporate office is so close I wonder just how involved they are or if they really understand senior care. Family owned business with many executive positions held by family members.

Chateau at Valley Center is the most expensive assisted living facility in Washington. Their extensive care for those who require/need it is really good. Unfortunately my dad couldn't use any of the exercise facilities due to his health issues. They charged him for use of facilities regardless even knowing he was bed ridden.

My mom liked the food here. The problem with Chateau Pacific is that memory care is very new to them, less than a year. They have a very good nurse, but the staff has not been properly trained and don’t know how to deal with the various problems that people with memory care struggle with. They let people sit in their rooms.

Nice, but too large and more like an 'institution' than we wanted.
