Nice older facility. Townhouse like accomodations. Peaceful, quiet. Porch, kitchen, good space, gardening.

While am one of the "younger" seniors living at Silverwoods, I truly enjoy the community of people. Having recently sold my house, I enjoy that I can rent a single-level, home-type residence to call my own. I love my patio and the ability to continue my gardening. On-site laundry rooms are a big plus for me. There is never a day when an activity, event or trip is offered by the Activities Director. Over all, this has been a wonderful experience for me.

They are very good at maintenance and security. They are very responsive to requests. They seem to be having some personnel issues, however. They used to serve food in the clubhouse in the dining room and they have closed that until further notice. They said they didn't have enough kitchen or cooking staff members.

The nursing staff at Complete Care are fine and great but they are facing the same challenges like everybody else and that is to maintain great quality of care when struggling with staffing shortages

Independent Living: The models look nice but the decor in the models is very dated. The models give you an idea of the layout of various models but do not expect that your apt. appliances and fixtures, will look as pristine and new and may not have a dishwasher. Always ask to see the specific apt. that you will be renting. Apts. are freshly and thoroughly cleaned & usually freshly painted, prior to move-in. Pets are allowed but they will and should asl the size and type of pet. All services (housekeeping, dining, pool, bus service) are a' la cart. Bus service provided by Silverwoods to local spots EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Ditto use of the pool. The exterior of many of the units show much wear and tear and in need of repair and maintenance. Gate on side entrance is unmanned and is frequently in the up position, allowing anyone to enter by car or on foot. Very limited on-site activities. Safe and quiet in general.

did not enjoy the separation between the homes and the clubhouse. Also 4pm is to early for dinner.

Dated kitchen, no dish washers, big freestanding closet in kitchen, popcorn ceilings, full load washer/dryers in laundry room not in apts.

No cooking facilities so very limiting for those with more capabilities.

First of all don’t be fooled this is not a senior friendly place. The parking lot is behind a back door that has no sidewalk or stepping stones, makes no sense, and forget if it snows, my 82 year old handicapped mom was told she should get someone to shovel because they only do the front where the sidewalks are. She has had numerous plumbing issues with her toilet backing up and overflowing into the living areas and carpets and had to go with no toilet overnight because they move at their own pace. They know who is throwing non flushables in the toilet and will not address it with that tenant so the others suffer. Her pipe broke under her sink on a Saturday and she was told there was no one to take care of it and to call the police!! This place stinks!! Oh and the rent is sky high for what they provide which is basically a roof and 4 walls..stay very far away from this crazy place. It’s no better than an inner city tenement, it just looks nicer from the outside.
