Wonderful visit. Answered all my questions. Definately one to consider. A positive enviroment.

My mother has been a resident at Regent Court for just over a year. I have been very impressed with the facility. It is well managed and the staff is incredibly attentive to my mother's needs as well as to mine. They are professional, skilled at interacting with the residents and very kind. I appreciate that we were able to fill my mother's room with her familiar things and that she has her own space. The common areas are light and well designed for this very needy population. I appreciate that it doesn't feel or smell or even look like an institution.

so i rated them a 5 al across they do a real good job staff is great they take care of the famliy and make sure they are ok i would recommend to any one out there i rated the cleanliness a 5 star rating in and out i al so rated the value of what we are getting a 5 star as well

Very friendly staff! They are very helpful! If I have any problems, they take care of things right away. Or, if I have questions, they are there to answer. I can't think of any improvements needed yet. They are really doing a lot of good things. Also, they were an easy pick because they help with two-person transfers, which is hard to find.

The staff were always polite and helpful. They responded to any concerns we had. The fact that they don't have any private rooms might be a concern for some. I was concerned about it, but it turned out to be fine with my friend. The room was always kept clean. there seem to be a lot of activities, but my friend was not able to participate in them just because of her condition.

I will say the one issue I have is that all [name removed] shoes continue to disappear. After asking every week since he moved there staff finally located one pair.

We have been really happy with the experience overall. The staff have primarily been wonderful. There is some lack of communication between the regular staff and the weekend staff, and there are times we've felt they needed to be more insistent about [name removed], but overall, we are very happy.

What they could improve on would be the communication within the company. We tell someone like the manager or the nurse of appt times or [name removed] art needing hung and they never tell the appropriate people to set it up.

I have been very impressed at the kindness shown by everyone to [name removed] with a special kudos to some of the aides. From what I've seen it looks like they use inferior cuts of meat- gris Iy, fatty. And liquids at meals look like kool-aid type lemonade, etc..

Regent Court smelled decent, we toured a lot of places that smelled like urine. Regent Court administration staff is fantastic, easy to work with. The assessment was done by the director and a nurse. The second reason we chose Regent Court was because of their activity list. They had a much more thorough activity list than any of the other places we toured. They also have the option to take a bus or a van out on little excursions, they take their residence out to parks or little events and that was one of [name removed] big concern was that she would be trapped in a building for the rest of her life. So that made it even more inviting. Thirdly, we paid attention to how much storage she would have in her room. Most of the memory care facilities are very small rooms with minimal storage. And [name removed] has a lot of stuff. So we wanted to make sure that she could feel as at home as possible. Regent Court just had a better storage set up in the rooms and that was a bonus. It is a little less clothing hanger space but overall better storage. Fourthly we paid attention to the common areas and the outdoor space. The outdoor space at Regent Court is much bigger and much more walkable than any other place we tour. Also, their common areas had less trip hazards.

Happy with our choice. They truly care for dad as if he was their dad or grandpa.

If you can afford it, this is the best community in the area. I believe the community has a higher staff to patient ration, than other communities in the area.

My husband seems to be doing better now that we have moved him here. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The community is small and is very clean. The food seems to be fine the portions are good. The location is perfect very close to our home. I believe he is socializing with the other residents but he mostly stays in his room and enjoys watching tv.

Higher end. Stack washer & dryer,full kitchen,indoor pool, jaccuzi, affiliated with rehab.

Quiet and Remote. Location-Top of Ridgetop. Friendly staff...accomodated residents during tour. Staged environments for resident comfort and mental stimulation. Clean but noticeable incontinence smell. Emergency Response and Secured premises.

Clearbrook Inn felt more like a hospital instead of a senior community. They left the doors open all day long. I was not able to try the food. This did not feel like the right place for my mom.

There is so much to be said. First off the food is nothing but Cisco and is full of high sodium and really poor quality food. Even though one of the selling points is, they have a chef. Not true. They have someone that opens up cans. We asked for low sodium diet and they assured us that would be no problem and almost immediately my mom started retaining water and when we asked about it, they said oh we're doing it and we had found out from their team that nobody gets any specialized dinners or meals. They're really good about selling all the amenities and all the fun things you could do with people and we saw nothing but neglect and babysitting. The team did not engage very well and they did not have respect for the leadership because there was a lack of honesty and authenticity. It is also not super safe as they have people that escape there all the time. While we were there, somebody broke in the middle of the night and they didn't find the person until the next morning. They also had one woman that kept escaping, and it ended up on the street in front of the place laying down on a very busy street. That could've gotten really bad. My mom ended up breaking her hip there which we understand things happen. But the call we got the next day was that she was complaining about her leg hurting. And then we found out from several of the people there is that she fell in the middle of the night. But we kept hearing from admin they didn't know how it happened they just went in that morning & she was complaining. We heard from other caretakers that she fell and they just picked her up & put her back in bed. When we got there the next morning my mom was in the lobby with her pants around her ankles. The surgeon said there was no way my mom fell & got back in bed on her own. The Director kept saying there was no incident filed. However, we found out that they fired the 2 people (not from them). This place has no integrity. We understand people fall but why cover it up? They ignore patients. I would never put anyone I loved there unless there was a leadership change.

There are so many issues with The Ridge. Food is all pre-packaged, high sodium & plain awful. My mom never had swelling issues but while there her legs swelled terribly. We asked for a low salt diet and they said they could accommodate & told us they did but she got the same as everyone else. Since we left mom has been in 3 places (hospital. Rehab, hospital) and there was zero swelling. Safety Issues: in 3 months they had 14 incidents of patients getting out. It is poorly managed. Understaffed severely. Activities are weak & don't happen frequently. Administrator does an extremely poor job. And staff are very unhappy.

My loved one only had a brief stay here at the Regent Court. The environment was very clean and the staff did the best that they could to care for my loved one. I felt that they did not have enough staff to help my loved one be more comfortable. The food was good but the portions were too small. They do offer activities for the residents to participate in. The community is well-kept and the landscape is nice.

Don't let fancy shmancy decor fool you. This is NOT a good place to send your loved one if they are infirm or in need of lots of care. It's alright for the senior with a greater degree of independence, but this facility is not appropriately staffed for its level of acuity. This is a 48 bed facility with an average staffing ratio of 15:1 per CNA. There are never enough caregivers staffed to provide quality care to residents. If you're planning on spending an arm and a leg for care for mom or dad, consider somewhere else where there is actually enough personnel to assist them. Clearbrook Inn is owned by a for-profit corporation, and refuses to change their boarding designation from assisted living to long-term care because 1. Administration would be required by law to staff more CNA's 2. They don't want to let the Medicaid "riff raff" in. This place is all about appearances, but know that under the surface this facility is driven by business goals and not realistic quality care goals. Always ask about staffing ratios when seeking a long-term care facility for mom or dad.
