The families and friends that comes to visit think the food is really good, but for the residents living there at least our loved one gets pretty tired of the meals - could be repetitive or maybe its just because its not the home cooked meals they are used to. We do think the value for the money is good. Even though our loved one does not participate in the activities they do offer plenty of things to do. What sealed the deal when it came to choosing Grand Victorian is the fact that our loved one just felt at home here.

Compared to other communities our loved one has dealt with in the past we are having a great experience here, and she will spontaneously tell us she is really enjoying it here which is huge for us. It really is a nice friendly homey place, the staff there are very kind, helpful, friendly and just fantastic. Based on our overall experience we would recommend this community to others. Another huge thing for us is, our loved ones money runs out they will help us out.

I found everything was fine for my loved one here. The staff handled any concerns appropriately. The communication with the family was good and the staff were willing to work with the family. Some of the activities offered to the residents included exercises, games, and more for the residents to participate in.

I have lived here for about a week and I have all good things to say about Independence Village. I have met a great friend already who has a lot in common with me. We eat together in the dining room and go to activities together. You can be as independent as you’d like to be, but when you ask for help you can be assured it will be there quickly. The staff is not only nice, but they are helpful and accommodating. [name removed], who works here, helped me pick out my apartment and get moved in. She will help you through this process if you are considering senior living, you won’t be disappointed by choosing Independence Village of Greenwood!

This assisted living facility was beautiful with a lot to offer. We toured, was given ample information, the young lady giving tour was well versed on all of our questions. We do highly recommend Heritage Woods for your assisted living needs.

The staff are so motivated. They never give up making sure we are entertained. The marketing director [name removed] is so creative and engaging us. The place delivers respect, excellence, and compassion is everything they do!

My wife and I love the family atmosphere here. We don’t have a lot of family and love that the family here have become our family.

Great time visiting Granda! We love the puzzle room and library. Grandpa always loves telling me what is going on in all his books he reads. Thank for taking such good care of him!

The level of care here is amazing! I have never seen any of their workers have a bad day. If they do, they never show it! Thank you for all your hard work!

The staff at Grand Victorian has been friendly and hospitable every step of the way. They have assured mom and family that it is a wonderful place to live.

I thought the place was really nice. The staff went out of their way to help my mom, even though she ended up leaving due to constant sickness and falls. They accommodated her as much as possible, which to me was A-plus. They didn't have to do all of those things, but they did. I also liked how clean and modern the community was. Alongside the fact that staff were always available, even on weekends. If you have questions or concerns, there's always someone around to speak with you. I really liked St. Anthony of Lansing Supportive Living and I wish my mom could've stayed. They're a great community with an awesome staff & services that lives up to everything they've advertised!

I visit quite often. I always arrive to a extremely clean environment. You never pass by an employee without them giving a smile and a greeting! The food is good, there is always a fun activity. My friend loves it!

I toured several convenient care facilities. This one stood out from the moment I walked in the door. Beautiful facility! Wonderful, friendly staff!

Great place to work, food is great

It is so great to see my Aunt so happy! She loves the food and friendly environment. She has made so many new friends. We couldn’t ask for a better community for her to live in!

The community was phenomenal on working with the family in getting our loved one admitted. They were patience, thorough, and made us feel welcomed. My loved one is super happy here. The care services such as medication management, dressing, and bathing assistance has been a little disorganized due to shortage of staff. My loved one needed to have bandages changed and the community wouldn't make this simple change, and the family had to go up and change the bandages for our loved one. Anytime my loved one has a question, my loved one will get a different answer for each person. The answers needs to be more consistent or a care plan needs to be established for each resident that the staff review prior to answering the questions from the resident or family. I had to leave messages several times, and they weren't answered. I ended up going to the community and found out the head nurse had left, and then three days later I ended up getting a call from the new head nurse, after t. It would be nice to know about the changes to keep the family informed.

Beautiful place. There is no other place like it nearby! I would highly recommend it to anyone who lives nearby.

I visit the facility on a regular basis, visiting with many from church and the community. I don’t know how such a small community found so many dedicated and friendly employees. Every resident and visitor is cared for with the upmost respect! Thank you!!
