I think it checks all the boxes. Independent living is set up really nice and though my mom didn't take complete advantage of all it had to offer- I think it provided everything one would need.

1. We've felt very welcome here from the first day on met some fine people and have enjoyed several activities. 2. Overall cleanliness is excellent. public restrooms are kept clean and we have maid service at the apartment once a week 3. Everyone including the staff is very friendly. 4. We are an independent living, so no care is necessary at this point. 5. The staff is efficient and friendly. There doesn't seem to be a large turnover. Most of the staff has been here for years. 6. We love the food. Haven't had a bad meal since we've been here. I understand the kitchen staff was changed and a new chef and Staff was hired this summer. Residence say the food is much better since then. 7. A lot of activities and crafts. 8. Being here only three weeks we'll have to see how the value is. We have what we think is a great rate on a large 3 two bedroom apartment.

Had some issues with people not returning calls. The value for cost is inline with most other assisted living places in the area. Yes, we would recommend The Summit of Coralville to other families based on the experience it is a very nice place

We would give them a 5. Dad gets very good care & the staff is wonderful!

Mom has been so happy at Woodhaven Village. They are wonderful. They keep an eye on her and call if we need to show up. They provide so many activities but also special events like best macaroni and cheese or chili competition. Best decision!

I like the home feeling you have. The apartments are just a nice size especially for someone who is coming from their own family home. All the food I had there was good. The entertainment is thought out and there's lots of room for visiting especially in common areas. All contact I had with staff was positive and friendly. Lastly they appear to have the patience for the residents.

The Shores at Clearlake is wonderful place for my parents. It is very well laid out, clean, organized and safe. There are daily activities which encourages community interactions, and the food was good whenever I visited. The staff is always smiling and always very helpful. All seem to truly care for the residents.

They are very supportive and other members are great made good friends here. I have a 1 bedroom apartment and it is certainly big enough for me!

5 for everything except food, 3 for food. What we like the most about the community is the great staff and the open, quality environment. Yes, we would recommend Portside at Grande Dunes communities to other families based on the experience so far.

my father-in-law LOVES the art classes! I do recommend Northgate Park to others all the time! We feel very fortunate to have found Northgate Park!

My husband had a nice room, they took great care of him, especially [name removed] and [name removed]...the whole staff was great. [name removed], the director, was amazing.

What we like the most about the Sedwick Plaza community is that the staff are super friendly and caring. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Based on current rate. Going up [date removed] but don't know new rate yet. The activities are great! My mom and sister are very happy, are making friends and enjoying the activities. I'm so glad we choose Acacia Springs!

The facility is beautiful. The food is delicious. They have a gym and library that my mom enjoys. My dad liked the pub and fellowship there. They provide transportation to stores and doctors. They have lots of extracurricular activities. My mom likes her new apt with a patio.

The staff is professional and always willing to help with questions. There are a variety of things to do daily and people who will do the activities with me. The menu is printed and there is a alternative menu that allows a good variety of food.

What we like the most about the community is just the overall atmosphere of your facility. The staff and fellow residents are just all so nice and welcoming. I feel fortunate that my sister is living in a safe and friendly place that she calls home!

This place isn't perfect - no retirement community is. However, I want to compliment [name removed]. She's the Activity Director and does an OUTSTANDING job. There are at least 2 activities scheduled per week, often more. I lived here 3 years ago, for 3 years, and at that time, the then Activity Director scheduled 1 activity every two weeks. Besides the excellent job [name removed] does as Activity Director, she frequently pitches in to help other staff members. For example, she has no responsibilities re. food service or serving, but regularly pitches in and helps serve meals. In addition to her work, she's always professionally dressed (several staff members are not) and friendly to all. I don't know what her salary is, but she deserves a significant raise.

She is very happy there. She is not always thrilled with food. She basically meat, mashed potatoes and vegetables with seasoning and butter. But she likes the chicken strips so she eats them if the food is not what she likes. That would be her only complaint. She only complains about food. The staff, community, and facility no complaints. Overall all she seems content .
