Nice place and will feel comfortable in placing mom in their memory care. We've been on their wait list for 2+ years. Don't delay get your name on the list if you feel this is the way you want to handle life's challenges.

Truewood is a wonderful, caring place for your loved ones! The staff is compassionate and caring and very attentive to the needs of the residents that live there. Plus, the dining room has wonderful food and choices at all of the meal times. Overall I would highly recommend the facility to anyone looking for assisted living accommodations. You will not be disappointed!

The facility is clean and the staff is knowledgeable and kind. The resident is given great value for the price per month. They make the residence feel at home.

When I entered the community of Merrill Gardens Hillsboro, I immediately felt at home. I was warmly greeted by [name removed] at the Front Desk and [name removed] , who would tour me around the facility. It was then, and continues to be, a nurturing and friendly atmosphere, and every staff member is outstanding. This is my “forever” home.

Absolutely the nicest staff. This beautiful facility was so clean, the air wasn't unnatural smelling. Great activities for all to enjoy. Best place for our Mom in time down the road.

I've lived at Mission Ridge for almost 3 years and I love it here. The people are all really nice and the food is wonderful! I would highly recommend it and know anyone who lives here will be happy.

My mom is in a studio apartment with a huge closet and her own laundry facilities on the 6th floor with a fantastic view of both Mt. Ranier and Commencement Bay. The staff has been very supportive and all know her by her first name. She likes the food and finds the other residents friendly and inviting. She engages in activities and has thanked my sister and I several times for finding such a wonderful place for her to live. They have daily exercise classes, games and craft activities, trips into town, weekly entertainment. The list goes on and on. We think it is of exceptional value. She is much happier here than she would have been if she had continued to live in her own home. She is happy at Merrill Gardens at Wright Park and the family is also happy that she is there.

My mom was one of the first to settle in the newly developed facility. She just turned 95 and the staff, as usual, was helpful, courteous, and "above and beyond" in making it successful for her. She absolutely loves living there... from the manager, [name removed], to the activities director, [name removed], and all those who serve in dining and cleaning. They are respectful, kind, and watchful. I'm so glad after five years that my mom is surrounded by such a supportive community.

Seems like a very nice independent living place. Friendly people, friendly staff, great food and activities.

I did a virtual tour with [name removed] and she was amazing. She took the time to show me all the amenities and really make me feel good about my decision to bring my brother to live at Fig. He is really excited to move in.

Staff very friendly and professional, food is food. Room size is adequate. Overall cleanliness is above average. Not involved in activities.

It was a little of a struggle at first as my mom had to share a room in order to get in. 2 weeks ago she moved into a 1 bedroom efficiency and she is very happy. It is the perfect size for her. She likes the food and the staff are friendly and caring. She enjoys playing bingo and other activities that are offered. The doctor on site has removed some of the meds the original facility had her on and she is much more coherent!

The staff is SO attentive and caring. They put themselves out for every resident. The food always looked good and they made accommodations for anyone with special dietary needs. The rooms are sized just right to accommodate walkers, wheelchairs and even lifts and hospital beds when needed. I will recommend them to anyone needing elder or memory care. Regrets Frank Sinatra sang, “Regrets, I’ve had a few, but then again too few to mention.” We have regrets of our own about moving to Merrill Gardens at Wright Park: our regrets are that we waited. We should have moved here two to five years earlier so we could have spent more time with the wonderful staff and residents we have met. With so many daily activities, it is hard to attend everything that interests us. One thing we never miss, however, is the outstanding food prepared by talented chefs and served by a caring, attentive wait staff. Dining is available whenever you choose between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Amenities also include exercise classes in the fitness room, daily movies in the theater, a game room, an activities room, and a beauty salon. After working so many years to enjoy retirement, why not dine as though you are visiting a different restaurant each evening, have someone else clean your apartment, change your sheets and towels? Begin the retirement you have earned and join

It was very clean and the person who showed us around was very nice and knowledgeable. It is a very nice place for the elderly and they seem to have a lot of activities if the person wants to be invovled in them.

I have been a resident of Truewood by Merril Pinole for 2 years. I enjoyed positive interactions with the business office and staff. The business office director has accurately processed my invoices and promptly helped me with questions when I needed it. The front desk is responsive to conveying needs as they arise with residents in emergencies and ongoing daily transactions. This community is managed professionally. Maintenance requests are addressed and prioritized. My room is properly cleaned by housekeeping staff weekly. Activities are fun and engaging. For these and other reasons, I enjoy living at Truewood and feel safe in the community. Meeting new people and making new friends is important for me here. Grounds and garden areas are well-kept, making this place a pleasant and welcoming home.

The one-bedroom is small but sufficient for two people and manages to include two closets, ample bathroom storage, and a full kitchen. it's actually got three closets plus lots of separate pantry cabinets and bathroom storage plus in-unit washer and dryer. Food is generally high quality but long waits for service are a persistent issue. The staff that interact with independent living residents are top notch. I have been impressed with how the staff really get to know the residents and care about them; some of them seem to be there 24/7! As noted however they do seem to have issues with food service staff and their kitchen ordering system could be improved, as well as making the billing more transparent. The activities are varied and prolific. They throw some amazing parties and pay attention to all the details including themed decorations and food. I would not have said my parents are very social but they are always encouraged to attend and the welcoming community has been one of the best features of Murano. They really appreciate the exercise classes and access to on-site PT.

Staff is great. Activity options are diverse. The rooms are spacious. Amenities like house cleaning and laundry service are helpful. Prices are competitive. I would recommend the community to others.

Merrill Gardens is a very nice facility. The public spaces were clean and residents seemed happy. The ability to go down to the dining area and order food on the resident's schedule (7am-7pm) is wonderful! And, when the time comes that mom needs more care, it will be there. She doens't have to change rooms as care needs increase.
