Merrill Gardens

Mission Ridge is a delightful facility for seniors. All amenities are easy to access and there is a large list of activities to participate in. Their check in/out procedures for guests and residents ensures a high level of safety and accountability. Each apartment is cleaned weekly and maintenance is available quickly for any issues that arise. The staff is caring, friendly and takes time to get to know each individual and their family. Systems are in place to address any concerns and they have a high level of communication. My dad has been welcomed into this community and enjoys meal times and the interaction he has with other Mission Ridge residents and staff members. The experience of transitioning a loved one to senior living has exceeded my expectations and I believe that is because of the heartfelt commitment of the leadership at Mission Ridge.

The quality of the provided room cleaning. The very nice common areas, dining room, and meals. Yes I would recommend.

We chose this facility because it was smaller and has a very homey feel. The Admin., and nursing staff are very friendly and always have time to speak to us when we have questions. The value for the dollar is better than some others we visited before choosing Truewood. They also seemed to be staffed well compared to the facility my mother is in. There are at least 5 daily activities available to the residents and there are always residents gathering in the library or common rooms during the day. So, that means most aren't isolating themselves in their rooms.

What we like the most about the community is that it is very clean, good service in the restaurant, and very friendly staff Yes, I would recommend community to other families.

The people are great. The food has gotten good reviews generally from mom. She really likes the flexibility of the dining times. Her mobility is bad right now so she's not interacting as much as she would like, but the PT and OT folks come in and help her with therapy. Yes, we would recommend Merrill Gardens at Greenville to other families.

Novelle is a beautiful, new facility. It's very spacious. We toured assisted living and memory care. Everything looks great. The staff we met seemed to be happy and genuinely care about their jobs and the residents. Right now, there aren't many residents since it just opened, but I foresee that Novelle will grow into a wonderful community for seniors.

The staff were friendly. I like the fact that there is a church nearby. I'm glad I took the tour. I will consider moving to Truewood when I am ready to make a change to an independent senior living community.

From the minute I walked in the door to the end. I was very impressed with the entire tour. [name removed] was amazing and covered everything. I highly recommend. I met a few residents that seemed very happy.

It is a Very nice, well maintained facility. They have very good food, and friendly staff. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a community.

This location is very bright and cheerful for the memory care side. We toured a few other facilities and found this to be the best. The assisted living side we toured at other locations were nice but unfortunately we need the memory care side. We put a deposit down to hold the room until we move forward with medical information needed.

The meal was first class. The accomodations were what I was expecting. The grounds were enjoyable, as well. The staff was very responsive to my needs. They had a bunt cake, that was yummy. I'm on the application process.

Merrill Gardens is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. We were immediately greeted when we entered the building, then again by the Community Relations Director who gave us a wonderful tour of the facility, answering all of our questions. Everything is very clean and spacious, and the amenities go on and on including a heated walk-in pool! We were also able to stay and enjoy a delicious meal and were very impressed with the variety, the service and the food itself. I can't say enough good things about this place. I would highly recommend Merrill Gardens to anyone looking for an Independent Living facility for themself or a loved one.

I chose it for myself, primarily because it fits all my needs, living space, yard and meals. I feel very comfortable living here. I get along with and respect the management and all staff that work at Truewood by Merrill in Modesto.

On our first ( and only) tour of the brand new units, the Villas were very cleaned, well designed and had a feel of comfort. We have been here for about 3 months now and feel at home. The general manager and the property manager, both answered all of our questions. We signed up to move after just our first visit. If we need anything repaired it is handled quickly. The restaurant food is and we appreciate the daily selection. The restaurant staff is always very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We feel blessed to have found these Villas as we were needing to downsize. The move and adjustment to life at Turners Rock has been smooth.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff are kind and attentive. The community is clean and organized and the staff have been helpful and supportive supportive as my mom is there in independent living.

I have been at Truewood for six years, and I have found it to be a comfortable, convenient, and safe place to live. The staff is warm and friendly. They concentrate on serving the Truewood residents and making their living experience a good one. They provide interesting and healthy daily programming for independent seniors that is available but not mandatory, respecting the privacy of the residents. Truewood is an “all-inclusive experience” with food, lodging, and housekeeping provided. The attractive apartments are suited to senior requirements. I feel grateful and fortunate to live at Truewood.

Staff is friendly and responds quickly. Monthly Town Hall meetings allow all the residents a chance to ask questions and make suggestions. The vivacious activity director is phenomenal. It is not possible to participate in every activity because there are so many. The activities are interesting, fun, and varied. Several common areas are available with tvs, comfortable seating, and a fireplace. The theater is comfortable and includes a very large tv. Monday afternoon Happy Hour in the bistro with entertainers is always well attended. The nurses are visible throughout the day, checking in with residents and getting to know all the residents. Caregivers check in daily and respond to apartments within 15 minutes of requests. The maintenance staff is friendly and efficient, responding to requests on the same day. Housekeeping is done on the same day each week. The dining room serves made-to-order breakfast 7-10:30 and lunch/dinner 11:30-7. The on-site chef creates two main entries daily, but a menu of salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc., is also available. The apartments are roomy and lovely, with high ceilings and large windows. The bathrooms are large and attractive. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator and stove and many cabinets. The entire, recently renovated property is beautiful and welcoming.

What I like the most about the community is the cleanliness, the friendliness, the meals and dining and the activities. Yes, I would recommend Merrill Gardens at Greenville to other families.

My dad moved into The Pines six months ago. The nurses and staff are friendly and courteous. They treat him with respect. They joke and laugh with him. They have taken special care to learn his particular needs. (He has a disability.) My siblings and I feel very comfortable with him being there, and my dad says he feels safe and comfortable there, too.

My mom has been a resident at the Pines for about 15 months now. Everyone is very friendly and approachable when I have any concerns or questions. The facility is very warm and clean. My mom is a little quiet but she has adjusted well and has made some friends. The nursing staff is very good to her and she seems to enjoy most of her meals. The activities program is wonderful and she loves the music!! Overall, we are very pleased with the care my mom is given & would highly recommend the Pines.
