When first visiting the Gables, on our search for assisted living, we were taken in by the whole vibe of this community. After moving our loved one in we realized that our first impressions were correct! Our loved one was somewhat resistant to the idea of “assisted living” but she has adjusted so nicely. There is so much to do at the Gables, if you choose to participate. When participating in family events and just during random visits we couldn’t help but notice how amazing the staff is. We are always met with a smiling face and they are so attentive to the members of this community. Their professionalism is top notch but they are also happy and fun to be around. I cannot say enough about the Gables and their incredible staff. We toured communities extensively and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

In a matter of 3 months, I needed to find an assisted living for not one, but two of my aunts. My first and last visit was to Brandywine The Gables. We were greeted for our tour by [name removed], who was a true ray of sunshine at a very hard time for my family. Making the decision to put them in assisted living was a very hard choice, and [name removed]was there every step of the way to make things as easy as possible not only for my aunts, but myself and my family. [name removed]and the entire staff at The Gables are phenomenal and truly care for the residents in their care. My aunts are happy, safe and doing great!

Very nice place and friendly! [name removed] was awesome to talk to, any questions that we had she answered she knows her stuff. You’re very lucky to have a person like her very outgoing. The facility was very clean. I like their activities.

I moved my mom here from another assisted living facility and I wish I had done so sooner. [name removed] went above and beyond to have the perfect room for my mom and made sure to place her at a dining table with the kindest and friendliest group of women. The staff was attentive to her every need. [name removed] truly is a gem and I constantly witnessed how much the residents loved her. She is cherished by them and other staff members. She serves as the best that Brandywine has to offer.

Brandywine is an excellent establishment, all the personnel is wonderful but especially [name removed]. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and so nice. We were looking for a place for my uncle & she went above & beyond to assist my family.

Every staff member was extremely welcoming. The place was beautiful and it is getting remodeled as we speak. They really care about the residence there and it shows and everyone of their faces and mannerism. I know that my mom will have a great experience there- thank you to everyone on the staff for making it such a positive experience.

Staff is caring and compassionate . The activities director runs an excellent program to keep all involved and stimulated . Holiday programs are great , involving family and friends .

The staff is professional, caring, they are in constant communication with family member regarding any changes or concerns that arise. The facility is always clean, and always have a great daily activity schedule. I would absolutely recommend Sunrise of Paramus to others looking.

Everything is excellent, except the price is a bit high. The facility itself, the food, the staff, and the happy mood all impressed me - this is why we chose the Fountains at RiverVue. My sister is very happy to be there!

Right from the beginning [name removed] has been an integral part of why my mom landed at Brandywine Assisted Living at Howell, NJ. [name removed] pays close attention to details in assisting your needs for your personal situation at hand. Even after your love one takes residence at the facility, [name removed]is always there to assist in any way shape or form, (i.e. [name removed]is truly your Guardian Angel through your process in assisting in your needs for your love one and will even be there when she’s not at the facility, which makes her a real genuine person who has your best interest at heart). I personally like to say thank you to her in making mom and my family’s journey seamless in this ongoing transition (now & future). Brandywine is very lucky to have [name removed], including the other talented personnel working along side with her in assisting the needs for this dynamic aged group.

The “homey” layout is far better than “hotel” style facilities with long hallways. Here, everyone is close to the center of the activity. They try to keep residents there, rather than shipping them off to a hospital. The director was hands on and very helpful. Cares about the residents. They give the family the elevator code, so there’s unrestricted access. They have nothing to hide. Residents can go out to a large outdoor balcony any time. They don’t have to be “buzzed” out. Hospice/end of life is handled lovingly, medically, and with respect. The psych. Doctor who visits the facility is great. She responds immediately when there is a crisis. This facility provides a high level of care in a warm, homey setting. My Mom was in another Memory facility that was set up more like a modern hotel; it was cold, sterile and the level of care was no way near as good. Sunrise was a little more expensive, but is providing exponentially more care. Brie, the director, is very empathetic and hands on, and advocated for us with the hospital. I was at my wit's end trying to care for my Mom, and now I feel like she's finally found a safe, caring place to live. We final have "a new normal." I highly recommend Sunrise of Paramus. My only regret is that I should have gotten my Mom here sooner.

5 on everything. It is a wonderful place and my dad is very happy and based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families!

During the day you will find cleaning crew cleaning the common rooms and once a week they clean an apartment and wash and change the sheets. All of the aides and all employees say hello when you meet them walking around. Nurse available 24x7. We all have gps pendants so they can be pushed and can be found wherever you are on the grounds. Nurses will monitor and give media if needed. aides will take you down to meals or activities if needed for extra charge. 5) 5 the food is excellent with 2 specials for lunch and dinner with several daily choices each meal. Very special desserts with ice cream and pudding offered daily. Wait staff is attentive and helpful We receive an activity sheet outside our door each morning with the activities each day and a monthly sheet at the beginning of the month. The activities are varied with intellectual social, religious, games,physical. A movie every night and a gym and occasional live entertainment. The rooms are varied: studio, one bedroom, 2 bedroom.. Pretty pricey although many amenities provided.

The staff at Brandywine are very helpful when you need them. There was an incident with my laundry that was resolved immediately. I love going to happy hour and listening to the musicians that come to play for us. Overall great experience.

The activities that the programming director at Brandywine puts on are so creative and entertaining. We take trips more often than friends of mine at other communities do and I'm very grateful for that. Always a great time!

I've been through a lot since moving here in terms of my health but Brandywine has made it a little bit better. I like happy hour and the trips we take to restaurants and shows. They have a good team here.

The care was top notch. The staff caring and responsive. Would have been nice to have more lectures or intellectual type activities in addition to music and crafts. Mother is blind so crafts weren't easy. A bigger meeting room would be nice, the smallish dining area would make something like a lecture challenging but it was the primary activity area.

Brandywine at Brandall Estates is an amazing community. It’s beautiful from the flowers on the front and back porch when you walk in the amazing chandelier in the lobby. I would highly recommend this community for your loved one!

If you are looking for a wonderful place to put your loved one, this is the place. The staff is amazing, especially [name removed]. Her professionalism is by far nothing I have experienced anywhere else. She is warm and caring and always brings a smile to everyone’s face. She is loved by the community and their families. I highly recommend!!!
