The tour guide was very helpful and answered most of our questions. She was friendly and respectful. The lunch was very good.

I have chosen to move to Sunrise Assisted Living of Mill Basin. I sign my paperwork this Saturday. Thanks for following on this long search. Now I can begin the next stage of my life.

I was given a great tour by [name removed], who I believe is activities director. She answered my questions and was very relational and pleasant to spend time with. I then had informative follow up conversation with [name removed], sales director, several days later. Excellent throughout.

Tour was excellent and the Sunrise tour coordinators were outstanding. All the personnel / families that were there seemed vey happy and positive. The staff seemed to take exceptional care for the individuals

The facility was pleasant. The residents were friendly and shared their experiences. 1-bedroom rooms were spacious and comfortable. Activities were adequate and residents were well-attended to. I was impressed. This is my #1 facility of choice when the time comes, followed by your facility in Plainview.

Was looking for a care facility for my dad! Sunrise was it! The staff was very friendly, informative. The setup of the facility is a nice and safe space. It turned out to be a perfect fit for my dad. The overall experience at this facility has been good thus far! I’m hopeful it remains this way!

We were looking for a safe and welcoming place for my sister and after touring 5 other facilities found Courtyard at Lakewood! Four months into her stay, I can say it has been THE BEST selection we could have ever made. It's so friendly, clean, festive during holidays, continuous activities, very good food service and an extraordinary staff. It's safe, a great location and an overall amazing experience.

Tour was very informative. Since this was my first tour of Senior Living Communities, I wasn't sure what to expect but, it did open my eyes. The Facility is small but intimate. I will continue to do my research to find the optimum Facility for my husband and myself.

I walked in to set up a tour. The concierge called someone who came out and asked if I'd like to tour the place now. I was impressed. Not hiding anything. Under 100 asst. living residents in the whole place with one memory care floor. Clean, lots of natural light. Staff members knew every resident's name and it was clear they have a genuine relationship with them. Lots of staff on the memory care floor giving individualized attention as needed. Someone checking the rooms throughout the night. Activities all 7 days. Residents have their own rooms, bathrooms, and kitchenette (no cooking equipment). All meals and snacks provided. Some people have their own apartment. Some share but again, have their own bedroom. Residents can have a dog or cat. They can hang pictures, mount the TV on the wall, etc. He had primary care, a podiatrist, meds, and labs all onsite. They told us that they "meet people where they are" and they did. Dad was safe and he was loved. Best decision our family made.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the campus and the quality and number of staff that were assisting the residents. There seems to be plenty of opportunities to socialize and enjoy Sunrise at North Hills.

Sunrise is a cozy, well managed place for seniors. I was impressed by the happy residents at lunch (which looked delicious, BTW). The common areas were warm and cozy and seemed newly decorated. I was grateful that there is underground parking available. Staff was enthusiastic and so hospitable.

A truly beautiful place, gorgeous grounds, well kept and spotlessly clean as well. Lots of activities and a convivial environment. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Very safe as well, with 24 hour nurses' station. Great menu with accomodations to dietary needs. Lively yet soothing ambience. I enjoyed my tour there.

I’ve been here 4 months, and I call it home. The staff is excellent, and have been here for years. The staff seem happy working here. The residents welcome new people with open arms. You’ll get many invitations to dinner. The staff work hard, and they don’t treat it as “just a job.” They genuinely care about the residents. The food is good though there is room for improvement. We have a new chef, and they’ve increased the wait staff to reduce serving delays. The amenities are very good: 2 meals daily, transportation to medical appointments and shopping, medications are delivered from s nearby pharmacy, weekly excursions on Fridays, some interesting volunteer-led programming, I’m very happy here.

Very nice, clean, great tour. This is where we selected for our family member. I’m especially impressed with management and their care.

We were greeted warmly and given it to her of a couple of beautiful apartments. Love the way The apartments, face outward and have lots of light.We liked the vibe and the fact that the residents are younger than at most other facilities, as we are. It’s a little far from where our friends and Connections are, but may be a possibility in the future. Love the courtyard, but it does look rather bare… possibly due to the wind tunnel effect that our Guide mentioned! Otherwise, the facility was beautiful!

I recently visited my friend and found her new senior living home to be just lovely. It felt warm and welcoming, and it was wonderful to spend time with her in such a beautiful place.

Very professional and caring staff Very well maintained facility. Every staff member we connected with was compassionate and available. It is comforting to know a loved one is surrounded by this environment.

My dad fell in love with this Huntcliff after our initial vist. The staff and the residents were all extremely friendly and helpful. He fell in love with the fact that they have happy hour and tablecloths in the dining area. He loved his apartment and we actually took over the model apartment which he fell in love with. He has been very active in the Jewish connection as well as the social. He has been swimming and enjoying his community. It has been a great fit.

I found the staff to be both professional and personable. My tour was very informative and inviting. Overall I was impressed with the general atmosphere and am seriously considering choosing Sugar Valley Estates as my future residence. My major concern is the pricing and the rate that it has increased each year.
