Sunrise Senior Living

I found the facility elegant and lovely. I saw 2 studio apartments which are quite spacious and well appointed. I saw a lovely dining room and a nice outside garden area. I understand that some changes are underway including a swimming pool and a change to the main lobby.

I was greeted as soon as I arrived. [name removed] was very nice & seemed very caring. The facility was clean & had a homey feel to it. The residents were talking to each other & had just finished an art project.

I did a virtual tour of the facility and was very impressed. Great location. I am still trying to decide which facility I will choose since I have two other places I am looking at.

It was a really good experience!! The place is lovely and my tour very detailed and helpful. I felt very comfortable there.

The staff are friendly but they have had a shortage of staff, and it seems to be continuing. The facility is always very clean, smells good and they keep my mother's room clean. My mother's apt size is just perfect got her. Plenty of room even though it is a studio. I hear the food is good most of the time. Yes, I would definitely recommend Sunrise.

Our experience with Sunrise Senior Living has been outstanding! My mom has only been there just shy of two weeks, but she loves the nursing staff, they are so kind to her, she loves her room in the way that we set it up for her, the meals are delicious and she's involved with the walking club and the church services on the weekends, which is very important to her. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Sunrise and how much they have changed my mom's life in the short amount of time that she's been there.

I took my friend there about two weeks ago, and when we walked in staff was in the process of celebrating “wacky hair, weak“… It was so heartwarming to see the staff having fun while working at a very difficult environment… I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building, the shadowbox outside of each door was a thoughtful idea for the residence, there were people sitting outside on the benches, enjoying the good daddy weather, I like the idea of the gardens available to the residence, but it was too hot that day. We did not go out and actually see them, and [name removed] was a very gracious host and tour guide… Out of the six that I took my friend too, Brighton Gardens was my first choice… My friend has chosen another place though.

I think my mother got specialized care based on her issues. But the staff also went out of their way to love her and forgive her transgressions. I am very acquainted with an ER nurse and she says that her patients from Brighton Gardens and [community removed] are the best taken care of and their facilities are the easiest to communicate with. She says she doesn't worry too much when they leave

After 6 weeks I couldn't be happier. Sunrise is very clean and the Care Givers take good care of their people. My wife is thriving there, she is eating, sleeping and socializing and happy. No complaints here,.

It's very nice. The inside needs some TLC but renovations are coming soon. The apartment size is great. The staff is fabulous. I would recommend the community to others searching for senior living once the renovations are completed.

Sunrise LP has many different size suites. Ours is smaller by choice, but still plenty of room. There are many activities and the staff works really hard to get the residents involved-there are daily movies, piano concerts, crafts, news talks, social hour, walks, trips to museums-something for everyone. The food is good and there is plenty of it and lots of choices. Overall it is clean and don't notice any bad smells. The visiting doctors have been great and their recommendation of physical therapy (in house) helped him a lot. Staff is fantastic and that includes everyone from the concierge to housekeeping to administration. My dad and family are very happy we chose Sunrise and would recommend it to others.

Greeley Place staff is outstanding! [name removed] the GM was so helpful and encouraging for this big move for my mom. [name removed], [name removed] and everyone on the team that we interacted with were kind and helpful. [name removed] the maintenance man is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is great for my mom who is totally independent. She walks her dog around the area, she drives to close location Walmart and other places. It's a feeling of security for us knowing she is in such a good place.

The staff have been wonderful and helpful. The different apartment sizes provided great choice for her. She absolutely loves the food. The bingo and puzzles are her favorite activities. We are grateful we found it.

I would rate Quincy Place a 5. My mom is very happy there and has truly made it her new home. She feels comfortable, safe, and very welcomed by the community. Her one-bedroom apartment is spacious and well maintained. She enjoys her neighbors, the amenities, and the overall atmosphere of the property. The staff has been wonderful, especially [name removed], [name removed] was incredibly helpful throughout the tour, move-in process, and getting my mom settled. She also loves being able to have her hair done and thinks the world of [name removed]. I feel so blessed that my mom feels so good about her new home. Quincy Place has provided her with a place where she can feel comfortable and cared for. The only areas for improvement would be the food and the lack of a full kitchen. However, she is still very happy with everything overall. Quincy Place was one of the more affordable options we looked at, and for the price, it offers excellent value.

My only wish is that my sister had gotten to Sunrise sooner. And that transportation would have been provided for her doctor's visits to St. Francis Hospital and dentist visits. I sing praises about the facility (Sunrise) staff was accommodating. They went the extra mile to make my sister happy. I was able to enjoy the activities with her and the crafts. She enjoyed live entertainment they had and I did too. All the staff I encountered were top notch. They started to feel like family to me. My sister's last days were some of her best days. And when she was younger she lead by example, so at the end of her life some of her accomplishments were in a local Chicago paper. I am proud to say she was my sister and glad I could help her at the end by finding a facility with a caring, friendly staff

I was so satisfied with the kindness and compassion they showed my mother. Her room was kept clean. And the kitchen was always available for food service. The employees always were respectful and helpful.

We are really pleased with everything. My mom is in a suite. She has her own bedroom and shares a bathroom and a common area. All very clean and nice. The overall place is cheery and always active. The staff are great and there are always tons of activities (which my mom loves). I would highly recommend. It is also easy to access from the highway, metro trains/buses, and centrally located in downtown Rockville, MD (a terrific location).

My brother and I have been very happy with the care our mom receives. She has one main care rep who she adores and can get my mom to participate with the many group activities at BG. That aide also is on top of our mom's hygiene and meals and the nurse does a great job with medications. In a previous facility, my mom was alone in her room all the time and she regressed a lot. Her cognitive abilities are not declining at Brighton Gardens and she is always happy there, which is new for her!

5 on all. Everything was fine. I have no complaints with anything. I would recommend Sunrise of Bethesda to other families based on our experience so far.
