My first senior place that I lived in after my aneurysm! Made lots of friends and felt safe in the environment. I even was able to walk to restaurants, grocery shopping and other businesses! Was sad to leave when I had to move to another place!

You can take a patient to a hospital and get the symptoms diagnosed and remedied. Valley Crest listens to the patient and loves their residents, the results are amazing. The fact that your loved one is in a resident population and a staff that understands Alzheimer's and can redirect the frustrations. We are very happy with Valley Crest so far. The facility is very clean and organized and the director [name removed] goes above and beyond to help with any issues that may arise.

Everyone was polite and very kind and helpful with everything.

The place has changed management since my friend was there. She passed away last [date removed], as an FYI. Price have gone up, staff has changed. The best nurse, [name removed], has left.

Sierra Vista is a very nice place to stay. The staff is very helpful and the facility is very clean and orderly and everybody is always willing to help whatever you need done. I would highly recommend Sierra Vista to get anyone that needs assisted living

Aegis ShadowRidge has been the answer to so many prayers. The event programming is innovative and design specifically for mental stimulation. The family nights that are offered monthly are game changing because I’m able to see my mother interact with other residents and other families. It’s important to have the Fam interactions. The staff is friendly and caring, and they each realize how important the decision to put. My mother in this facility was for me and they don’t take it for granted.

Gardens of Modesto is an extension of my family. They communicate my loved ones' needs and make it easy for me to accommodate. My mother is on a fixed income and Medicare will not cover any of mom's expenses. I really love the facility and so does my mom.

Overall this has been a great choice for our family. My father in law is well taken care of. Building A was a little inconsistent at times but overall was good. We understand he is not the only patient. There are several (almost all)caregivers that are just great with him. Engage him in conversation and are very patient with him. Meals are handled well. When he desires a snack they give him what he asks for. Good activities. It is a big cost monthly but I understand the costs. Sunlit was a great recommendation!

My loved one is currently a resident at Sierra Vista Independent and Assisted Living and the experience has been great so far. The value for cost/monthly cost is amazing. They have been incredibly understanding and supportive. Based on the experience so far, I would recommend Sierra Vista to others.

Very caring community and well Managed. The memory care is exceptional in experience and quality of staff. All are very responsive to family and patient concerns. My moms quality of life with dementia at 97 has improved due to the professional expertise, knowledge and experience of staff, Management, and nursing care.

We have been very pleased so far with Poway Gardens and the care that they are providing for my mother. All of the facilities I looked at prior to her going there were expensive, as is Poway Gardens, but Poway Gardens was more reasonable than all of the others. The staff is very friendly and competent. They are hard workers and are experienced and knowledgeable working with this often challenging population. Many have been there for a long time. Communication with them is excellent. Administrative staff is easy to contact and responsive to questions and needs. Moving in initially was smooth. You have the availability to connect with a healthcare agency that can provide regular visits to the facility so you don't have to take your family member out to the doctor. The facility itself is clean and organized. It has the feel of a house instead of a hospital/institution. The kitchen area and main room are filled with light and comfortable. It is regularly cleaned. There are a relatively small number of patients to each house. One aspect that has been especially helpful for my mom is the fairly strict schedule of time to wake up, meals, and bedtime. It has given her a rhythm and consistency, which helps with orientation and she knows what to expect each day. The meals don't have a wide variety of dishes, but they are all well balanced, fresh, and healthy. Usually a meat, vegetable, carb, and dessert. Some of the vegetables are grown on site in their own garden. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facility. They have taken very good care of my mother.

The location is very unique with gardens and onsite fresh food. Not the typical modern apartment or hotel-like facility. Like an inn vs. chain hotel. Allowance for 2-week minimum stay instead of 4.

They were wonderful with my dad. [name removed] was the most amazing advocate and helper to be sure my Dad was receiving the best of care and went above and beyond when he was hospitalized and reru med back with new orders and meds.

My experience with this community, is that all the staff was very caring of the needs of your loved one and communication was highly appreciated. The tour that was very professional a safe enclosed community that fit the needs of our loved one.

The food is pretty good and the Friendliness of staff, they really care. Sharing bathrooms is my least favorite aspect. I like the family type atmosphere and the activities. Also of consideration for me was close proximity to my house. I visited my Dad about 4 times a week and most of the staff and some residents became familiar to me. I felt welcomed every visit.

Skilled, caring, professional, and compassionate is how I have found the staff at The Gardens. The facility is immaculate and up to date. Their approach of small neighborhoods within the facility really helps the clients feel at home. The staff and setting makes it easy to for clients to get acquainted with one another. My husband has several of the multiple issues typical of Parkinson’s and was being discharged from a skilled nursing facility. They have been very accommodating and have made the transition easy for him.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have found Crescendo for my mother's care. Initially moving into their assisted living facility, my mother eventually transitioned to their memory care unit and the experience has been nothing sort of exceptional.
