Working with this company has been such a positive experience for our family. Getting started was very easy and fast, and from day one they matched us with a wonderful caregiver who has stayed with us for the past 3 years. That consistency has meant so much to my dad and our family. My father does not speak English, but the managers are always able to communicate with him in his language, which makes him feel comfortable, understood, and happy. Everyone has been caring, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the entire time we have used their services. We are very grateful for the support they have provided and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for dependable and compassionate home care services. We have been very happy with them and believe you will be too.

My experience with Home Matters came about when my wife took a spill and broke her hip. We needed to find help quickly. Doctors advised rehab or a 24hr in home care. My wife also has Alzheimer's. So Routine and familiarity is most importand for her healing and mental health. rehab was out of the question. My Son Mathew got a hold of Home Matters and they came out did an assessment signed her up and by the time she came home from the hospital. They had everything she needed lined up. A caregiver 24hrs a day morning and night . They helped aid her with Medication administration, showers, dressing cleaning our home, ,basically any activities of dailey living .They are amazing. I feel at ease knowing shes in good hands with the experience that comes from the Caregivers, to the Nurses I feel she is healing faster being at home, Thanks to Home matters dedication my wifes caregivers take turns on round the clock shifts. Keeping her safe so I can sleep knowing everything alright.

Our family interviewed four different home health agencies to care for my sister, who was diagnosed with ALS. She was declining rapidly and I was her primary care taker during the day. I was scheduled for back surgery and we all knew I would no longer be able to assist with her transfers. Stacey was the only company representative that got down and spoke directly with my sister and asked her what assistance she felt she needed. Stacey, with Hauck Family Services, was the only representative who asked the important questions directly to my sister and not to the family. The aid assigned was very gentle with my sister, and completed all transfers, fed, provided liquids, and was very attentive. Suk, the assigned aid, took time to do little things like massage my sisters feet and hands, that relaxed her and allowed her to relax and fall asleep. As a bonus, made authentic Korean food for everyone to enjoy.

Our father’s health has steadily declined over the past few years. Since his diagnosis, our family has done our very best to meet his growing personal and medical needs. However, as his condition continued to worsen, we realized that we could no longer manage his activities of daily living without additional help. We researched home health care and found A Place for Mom. The agency coordinator, from Comfort Keepers, met with our family to better understand us and to learn about our father’s needs. Our family agreed that if we did not feel comfortable with the assigned caregiver, we would request a replacement. Fortunately, the coordinator did an exceptional job assessing our family’s culture and understanding our father’s needs. We were fortunate that the very first aide assigned to us exceeded all expectations. She is attentive, patient, and compassionate with our father, and our mother adores her. She has blended well with our family and provides outstanding care for our father.

We have had no issues! We are pleased with the service from all aspects. Tamia, who is giving care to my mom is particularly wonderful.

While I was across the country, my father—who is the primary caregiver for my mother—was injured and suddenly unable to provide the care she needs.
