Maabu is truly a gem, I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to them for the way in which they carry themselves. I interviewed them for a perspective family member and they were extremely thorough, I was able to get a feel of the place and gain a true understanding of who they are not inly as a business but also as people. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in her craft and lives by her mission statement, my relatives and I were treated with care from the moment we walked in, she is an extremely hard working mother of many and will make you feel right at home, as they treat everyone there like family. Cannot recommend enough!

My dad has been here for about 3 years now and he loves it. They really do a good job taking care of my dad. The staff are good and friendly as well. They are very responsive and communicate with family clearly and consistently.

There were moments when two nurses reached out just to make sure I was okay, and that kind of attentiveness is something I’ve never experienced before. HomeWell is flexible and exceptionally caring. They will work with you to meet your needs. Their communication is excellent, and they get their sitters well. [Name Removed] the care director/coordinator, is especially knowledgeable and helpful in guiding you through all the decisions to make at different stages of need. Their prices are commensurate with other like services in the area; I only marked that area down because it’s too expensive anywhere—24/7 sitters (as required by our assisted living facility) was over [Amount Removed] a day. The system is inherently broken when healthcare for the elderly is cost prohibitive for anyone without significant savings. But I would choose HomeWell in a heartbeat if we needed sitters again!

This company has been very accommodating. They have provided services for my mom while I have been on vacation. They prepared light meals and have done some light housework. It is nice to know that someone is checking in on my mom every day while I’m gone

My mom was resistant to having someone come in. I was worried it would be a disaster. The caregiver they matched her with, [name removed], somehow won her over in the first week. Day to day things are a lot easier now and my mom hasn't had any falls since. Communication with Alumni has been great. Even though I can't be with my mom every day, I am much more comfortable having her live alone at home with professional support in place.

The agency was flexible with my needs and worked around my schedule to get me the care I needed. The specific aide I worked with, [name removed], was exceptional. She went above and beyond at all times, and if I ever require care in the futureI would ask for her services again in a heartbeat.

[name removed] - the manager was so friendly, kind and concerned. I explained my needs fully. She had such a gentle voice tone that helped my comfort level right from the start. My daughter was instantly amazed. The caring nurse [name removed] provided was exceptional. The care need was not long as my loved one passed away within a short time. The professional nurse was so helpful to me as the caregiver and also to my family. I highly recommend their service. I will seek them again.

I very much appreciate all the staff that helped with my father's care. After my mother passed, he required 24/7 care. They were kind and helpful companions. Everyone I met was conscientious, and I'm very glad we found Cornerstone.

I can’t say enough good things about this group topped to bottom, outstanding helpful, they ask the correct questions and not just reading off a form. It seemed to really care about their customer, which is nice in today’s world top to bottom outstanding group.

My senior ([name removed]) is caring and oh so very helpful. She anticipates my needs and acts accordingly. I appreciate how she helps me do a variety of things, from boil some eggs to hemming up my pants. She seems more as a friend than someone I am paying to help me with everyday stuff. I really enjoy our trips to Dollar Tree too.

They are very conscientious and caring. Communicate well. The care is thoughtful and well done. My Mom enjoys their visits. All the caregivers very willing to do whatever Mom needs. They engage her in activities she enjoys.

I was in emergency room and being admitted. I called several Agencies and no one could do anything until the next day. My husband could not be alone all night. Owner from Amada said he could have someone there. He came to the ER to set things up and then went see my husband. He met the aide there. He made it so easy for m e. We continued to use them after I came home. I was so pleased with this agency. So easy to work with and wonderful people working for them.

My mother was on a hospice program and when I engaged Senior Helpers Of West Hartford, I did not know what to expect. What I experienced was nothing but great. They were very professional and caring individuals that came to take care of my mother. Anytime there was a hiccup with staff there was always a backup that came immediately. I would hire them again and tell people to use them because they will not find any one or any organization that takes care of their patients the way they did and took care of my mom.
