I have been using this service for the past 2 months between 4-5 days a week. We have had several different helpers come to help my 91 year old mom. Everyone has been great! My mom has liked everyone who has come to help her. For my sister who lives with my mom, it has been a big help and allows her time to have a break from the daily rigors of caring for an elderly loved one. I recommend Senior Helpers of North Valley.

They are very helpful and keep my informed of any changes or anything that is happening. The caretaker that I do have with my mother is very kind and very helpful. The caretaker also communicates with me one on one of anything that my mother needs or if there is anything that is a concern. I have had a very good experience with them.

I have been working with this company for the past month and have really enjoyed it. The owner and care manager have been very kind and thoughtful. I love that they have Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, and Japanese speaking caregivers as well.

Hummingbird has taken great care of my mom, who isn’t always easy to please. They worked with us to find caregivers who were a good personality match. The caregivers are kind, dependable, prompt, and always willing to help. I was hesitant about having strangers in my mother’s home, but Hummingbird has been professional, compassionate, and easy to work with. They communicate well, keeping me informed of any issues and sending a weekly schedule along with clear billing updates. Knowing my mom is in good hands gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend Hummingbird.

Cornerstone always had a person at the house per the agreed schedule. The person was very informed about the hygiene requirements. All the requirements were completed professionally and to high standards. They also made additional recommendations as needed to help the persons hygiene standards.

The owners are very aware of everything involved in taking care of elderly and what it takes to keep them in their home. Very compassionate and knowledgeable. They are helping out with two elderly women in one home. My mom and my aunt. They are very flexible with what care each of them needs. Would highly recommend them!

First light has been a godsend for us. They’ve done much more than I expected. Very good communication between us and [name removed] and [name removed]. I only am having them one day a week but with my husband’s condition, I’ll feel very comfortable having them much more. You won’t go wrong in having them help with your loved ones.

I live in a senior living facility yet found I needed a bit more than they could give without shorting other residents. So I decided to hire help. I initially met with perfection, caring and understanding right away. The young lady I was matched with was beyond pure perfection for my needs, wants and especially my personality. She was quick to get the work I needed completed and lots of misc other things. I was never hassled by the office to add time or days. When my little jobs were completed, as much as I would have loved to keep my helper, I had to move along to take care of myself now that I could. She was the sweetest young lady I had met in a long time. The parting of the company and I was businesslike but underneath a run of still caring. I know that should I for any reason require outside assistance, I would not hesitate or think twice about calling them again. My sister and I chose A Place for mom to care for our mother. The team did a wonderful job staying with our mom as we were in the process of transitioning her to facility care. The team was very prompt, professional and kind to our mom. I would highly recommend A Place for mom if you are looking for in home care for your loved one. Everyone listens and is supportive and kind. They care about the patient and really try to match their staff to the patients needs and personality. They are so helpful and extremely organized. There is great communication between their staff and the family.

My surgery was postponed due to a more recent injury to deal with so my care was different than I had earlier anticipated. Both ladies that came to my home were acceptable. If I am able to have the surgery, I plan to use this agency again.

My parents were to the point they couldn't really be at home alone. But they refused to leave there home. So we told them if they were gonna stay in the house, they had to have help. So my sister and I started looking and just weren't happy. I finally called [Name removed] and they were so sweet and accommodating to everything we were looking for. My mom has Alzheimer's and there care taker has become part of the family. They both love her. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for help.
