I am very happy at this community. I like that the staff is always caring and attentive to my needs. They offer a good variety of healthy meals. There is a lot of activities for the residents to participate with the other residents. I would be happy to recommend this community to others for the good value and care

My loved one was there only for a limited amount of time. They had exhibited aggression and how the staff handled it was the complete opposite as to how they said they would handle a situation such as what happened. They are not forth coming with their policies and procedures. Since we were only there a short amount of time I really have nothing else to base my opinion on other than I feel like we were misled after asking about this type of situation.

Very expensive and overly pretentious. I do not see my mom fitting in here.

This was a beautiful property. However, the footprint for the assisted living area did not allow any freedom. We would have to hire someone just to allow my in-laws to go outside.

Atria Rocklin is not what they appeared to be. They assured us that they had many activities available.My mother is a very active memory care patient and I don't think throwing around a balloon once a day is adequate. She has become very frustrated and unhappy here. I'm sure its a good place for a non-active senior but not for my mother. They didn't give her a shower for three weeks because they said she was combative, she weighs 105 lbs.She had sores on her head from not being bathed. I pay a lot of money for care, my daughter shouldn't have to go in there to give her grandmother a shower. They have employees working there that make $10 an hour with no schooling or credentials. I am very disappointed.

Mom has only been at Atria Woodlands since September. The management has been barely responsive or not all responsive to my family or my Mom's needs.

expensive and everything is extra. extras are expensive too. non refundable fees, they charge a full month rent for non refundable entry fee

Too "cookie cutter" "high rise" and big. But a possibility still

Positives: Super friendly staff, vibrant community building, friendly residents. Food program looks great. Cons: Because Ind Living section is not licensed as "medical" no medication mgmt or other low-need assisted living help can be provided to residents in ind living. Having to walk outside to get to meals. Having to move to assisted living end of the property if you need more care.

I was not happy with the care that my mom received here. The staff is not well trainned for the needs of my mom. She needed more attention then what they would offer her here. The food was good, but the attention needs were left unresolved. This community is too warn most of the time and they do not pay attention to how uncomfortable it is for everyone. Activities are offer to those who can participate. The community was not as clean as I wanted for my mom. I think other families should consider other options for a love one.

The staff at the Atria Kew Gardens does not care about the residents. Programs are cancelled or changed without warning. When told that they like BINGO, assurances are made that the new programs will be better. The seniors don't care. They want their BINGO. Residents are pressured to write nice things about the staff. Residents attend programs where political agendas are pushed again and again. When my mother returned from surgery, the director came to her apartment to check on her air conditioning, that had not been working for months. She did not even say hello to my mother or ask how she was doing. And the air conditioner is still not working. The worst of all is the social worker who is friendly with all the aids and doesn't even know the names of the residents. These are just a few of the things that go on there. The only caring member of the administration is the rabbi. If you love your parent, stay away!!!

I am not happy with the management. They do not allow others to play card games. The staff is very friendly. The cleaning needs some improvements in alot of areas. Others might not be please with this community.

I am not to pleased with the administration at this community, they made my loved one and I feel very pressured and I did not have a comfortable feeling at all. They have called and emailed me multiple times after I told them it was not going to be the right fit for my mother and I did not appreciate that.

Room cleaning is not up to expectation; food service and food quality needs significant improvement.

I came to Atria of Glen Ellyn in [Removed]. I was coming from a rehab facility and did not need assisted living services but needed meals and transportation for approximately 2 months. I stayed at Atria 3 days. I was warmly welcomed and the staff was helpful in getting me settled into this facility. The food was good and the staff seemed to learn my individual preferences quick quickly. I participated in a few of the activities and enjoyed them. If I had stayed I may have used their personal trainer who leads a morning exercise class. I chose to leave Atria for these reasons. I could not get any internet or cell service in my room. I was told that "This is just how it is...". If I wanted to call my family I had to go into the lobby on the first floor to make a call. My family was very concerned about my safety alone in my room without access to a phone and I didn't want to have all of my cellphone conversations in the lobby in front of others. I could not use anything that needed an Internet connection. I often Skype with my sister and I couldn't do any of that. I could not use my iPad without an Internet connection. There was not a solution when I asked the administration about this. Also when I was first brought into my room I noticed that the air-conditioner was really loud and said that it was so loud I doubted I could sleep. I was told that maintenance would be available on Monday, this was Saturday afternoon. I asked a few staff if there was anything that could be done and was told "no". I ended up shutting it off and slept without air-conditioning in July. On Monday the maintenance man did check my unit and said that it was so broken that it needed to be replaced. I did leave for a different facility later that day. Atria was clean and had a large porch were residents relaxed and visited.

Sadly, as we sat waiting to take the tour, my sisters and I walked away from them. We did not see any people and did not get a welcoming feeling. There was no garden and I did not like the parking. We were not impressed.

We did not have a good experience with Atria Kennebunk. I really think they need to be much more thorough in their patient assessment process. After a 10 minute meeting with my loved one they said they'd be able to handle everything, which did not end up being the case. He was above the level of care they were able to provide, and we ended up having to move him out.

WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS.

We had a mixed experience with Atria Copeland. My loved one was here for a brief rehab stay, and in terms of the rehabilitation care and staff I think they did an excellent job. However, in every other regard the care was a big disappointment. The aide staff really needs an overhaul. The response times when my loved one would call for help was very slow, which was especially frustrating because so much of the time you'd just see them standing around socializing. It worked fine for rehab, but i would not recommend Atria Copeland as a place to live.
