Brookdale

I would recommend but have a few reservations. They provide good services though.

The facility is bright and cheery, and the staff provide excellent care for my aunt. They are very patient and know her very well. It feels like a family. The food is enjoyable and healthy, and the activities are engaging. We are happy we found Brookdale North Fremont.

I feel the staff really cares about me and the place feels just like home. I can follow the daily activity schedule or do whatever I want. The ability to leave and come home is nice. And if I want to us the bus I can be driven somewhere within 30 miles. And best of all I am able to keep my furry baby with me.

My grandmother lives here and she loves it! She has so much more to do and so many people to talk to. She was obsessed with reading obituaries and crying everyday because her friends were dieing. Now she has fun!

We think it was very expensive. Initially the price was good but it seemed to increase with every corner we turned.

This has been a wonderful experience with Brookdale. I couldn't imagine a better place to leave my loved one during my time away. The staff communication with the family was great! There were three meals served a day and the resident had choices to choose from. There were activities to keep the residents engaged with. Trivia, games, and more are some of the activities offered.

We had a great tour experience with Brookdale Champions. The lady showing us around was very nice and helpful and all of the staff we got to interact with were friendly. They also got back to me in a timely manner. The only downfall for us was the location of the facility.

I assist in taking care of a 90 year old male resident I’m there for 3 hours every morning Mon-Fri. I find the staff very friendly and caring for the residents The coffee/ bistro area is very nice for people to meet. The dining looks to be exceptional. I don’t eat there but residents get a menu to choose from. [name removed] at the reception desk is very friendly and treats everyone w the utmost respect

I attended a public event held within the community. The environment was so nice and the staff so respectful. We enjoyed a meal prepared by the dining department that was ever so tasty. What a nice place to visit and live!

Brookdale Avondale has a wonderful atmosphere. The hot water is really good. I've lived in another community and the hot water was often not working. The staff is very friendly and makes me feel at home. When I came here I was not feeling well, but their nurses have helped me recover. The other residents have become close friends as well.

Great place! They even have little Dogs! OMG, I couldn't believe it. Went by to see the community in preparation for moms discharge and... WOW! Not what I expected from a senior community. They have lots of good things going for them.

We have been at Brookdale for 5 years. Our parents are so happy to be there. They are so involved in all the activities they have going on! The even went to a play the other night with the other residents. We couldn't be more thrilled.

Working in the industry I visit a lot of places around Jacksonville. For the most part, places can come across as very sterile...but not Brookdale in Avondale. If I ever start the search to put my Dad into a community, I'm starting with this one. I can't promise, I'll go anywhere else after.

Love this community. The staff treats everyone like family. Great team and a beautiful place. I even sat down to try the food and was pleasantly surprised and how amazing it was. No other community I toured gave me the feeling I got while in Brookdale Avondale.

This is a clean and beautiful community. Some communities have a strange smell, but Brookdale Avondale has always got a pleasant aroma. The residents are dressed well and eat together in small groups of friends that stay social

I have been witness to several activities at Brookdale Avondale and the residents were laughing and having a great time. There seems to always be something to get involved in for the residents. And they bring in entertainment too

Every time I enter the community I am welcomed by a friendly staff member! Residents are always happy & clean. I always see Residents in the common areas putting puzzles together or playing games & singing! The managers have been there a long time & they love their Residents! You can see it & feel it! They are always available & they do events to give back to the community! Highly recommend… 5 Stars!

I would highly recommend Brookdale to everyone. We have had a great experience. The employees are so nice and helpful. My mother in law really enjoys being there. It is clean, fellow people their are friendly, easy access from my home.

It's very conveniently located to most things in Austin. My family member has been very happy and has adjusted quickly. She's getting good care. She doesn't need a lot of care at this point, but what she does need has been good. She loves the food and says the dining experience is like she's on a cruise ship - with white table cloths, waiters/waitresses, a menu where she can choose what she wants. And if she wants something that's not on the menu, they'll try to accommodate her.

My experience with Brookdale Mandarin has been very pleasant.
