Brookdale

I work in home health and have had patients at this facility. The residents are well taken care of and the facility is always clean. The staff is very friendly and cooperative with continuity of care.

I toured this facility recently and was extremely impressed. The decor is very modern, but not overly so. The hallways are wide, and there is plenty of room to maneuver if someone has a walker or other device. The resident rooms are huge! Compared to others I've been to these are very spacious and most importantly, the staff seem very caring to the residents.

This facility was beautiful. The residents seemed very happy and all staff members had a smile on their face and a great attitude.

My husband and I celebrated our 60th anniversary at Brookdale. Yep, Brookdale of McPherson. It was the middle of the COVID outbreak and we had not so much as touched fingertips in months. Aware and caring, the Brookdale staff provided us with a celebration—husband on one side of an open window, wife on the other. There were white tablecloths (for two separate tables), balloons, party favors, confetti, a special lunch and sparkling water served with a flourish, as if it were the finest champagne. This is the most striking example, yet is only one example of the way Brookdale notices and responds. Whether it is lethargy, loss of appetite, unexplained swelling, a suspicious rash, or loneliness, the staff and leadership at Brookdale take notice. They communicate with family and collaborate with family and resident as to whether a health issue can and should be attended by staff or whether the resident should seek the assistance of a specialist. My loved one loves the food. I really liked the place and the people, prior to finding out about the cost. It's very nice, and family oriented. They clean the rooms once per week, and for the amount of money twice per week would keep it cleaner I would recommend this community to other families.

My mother recently moved to Junction City into Brookdale. She has adjusted so well and loves the family feel that this community offers. The staff was so helpful in the endeavor to make this move an easy transition. From maintenance, all the way to the Executive Director, they are concerned, interested, and so involved in all of their members. The food is really good and well planned. Recently they served an estimated 150 family and friends for a Thanksgiving Feast. It was AMAZING at how seemless they made it all seem. Our only complaint would be the corporate billing department. It just seems that they can not get their act together. My mom likes to see the bill for exactly what she is paying every month, and the statement is ALWAYS higher than the withdrawal. This is in no way a reflection on the Junction City community. They are absolutely wonderful!!!

Our family feels so very blessed to have found Brookdale Remington Park! My sister in law moved into Brookdale in August 2023 and we ( family) have visited her there quite often. The staff have been incredibly helpful, encouraging and patient in her transition to assisted living. We feel so much better knowing she is there and is receiving the assistance she needs. The facility is immaculately clean, updated. The staff are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and caring. We could not have found a better place for her to be!

Aging parents - a season of life we are not adequately prepared to handle without smart, compassionate, and honest resources to lean on. The staff at Brookdale Paulin Creek became that resource for our family as we considered moving our parents into an independent / asst. living community. The path ahead was daunting - filled with lots of questions. The first phone call to Paulin Creek resulted in us being connected to an incredible individual who answered every question – over MULTIPLE phone calls/visits. Never pressured – we were always met with timely, informative, patient, compassionate responses, that educated us and helped us navigate this very foreign territory. We all saw a beautiful community where they could become more social with like-minded new friends and less worried about household responsibilities, etc. I am happy to say our parents are now residents of Paulin Creek and can’t stop talking about their new friends, the amazing staff, and all the community has to offer.

We have been around Brookdale for about 4 years now! My grandad has loved it here. He is very well taken care of! I would recommend Brookdale to any of my friends and family! There was an amazing Thanksgiving Meal put together for the residents and their families!

Brookdale Medi Park Staff is so welcoming and fantastic! My dad feels so at home there! He has plenty of activities and outings to go on. We are so thrilled that he is so happy there! Thank you so much!

They really strive to make family included in the monthly activities. They are welcoming to pets and keep chickens and geese on the property as pets. They were responsive to things that were making us uncomfortable.

My father was placed at Brookdale and the services far exceeded our expectations. I recently had to make a decision to place my father in law in an assisted living and wouldn’t consider moving him to any other facility, as Brookdale is our 1st choice.

The community already had a good reputation but I wanted to see for myself. It was better than expected. They are experts in the field. Thank you to Brookdale. You have provided me with the information that I need to make this decision

Good food. The staff is there for me when I need it. They keep my medications straight. The head nurse took care of me and I feel better now than I have felt in a long time.

I chose Brookdale North Tucson because the took Medicaid patients on day one. Every other place I looked at required a 2 year spend down, which the family could not afford. I pleasantly found the place to be clean and modern, comfortable and the staff super helpful. After 7 months, my mom loves it there and tells me that frequently. It was definitely the right choice.

As it became apparent it was no longer safe for our folks to live alone in their house, there was much resistance about the idea of moving. Mom didn’t want to leave the house and memories, and Dad thought he would lose all independence. From the moment we walked in the door at Paulin Creek, their entire perception of senior living facilities changed. Each employee was kind, courteous, and went out of their way to welcome them. Each resident we saw was engaged chatting in the dining hall, playing a hot game of scrabble, or working on the community jigsaw puzzle. Since then, Paulin Creek has not disappointed. Each time we talk with Mom and Dad we hear their excitement. They talk about their “Ambassador” checking in and encouraging them as they are settling in. We hear of wonderful food, special meals, dining room staff that already know them. Dad was even honored at their Veteran’s Day celebration. We are at ease knowing they are now living in a safe and supportive community.

For a total inspiring time do come to this home like place to live. I can assure you that you will have made a best decision of your later life. Besides the kindness of the staff, the occupants are so well mannered and friendly so you think you are back when that is how the world was operating. And here is that little bit of peace on earth. Move soon is my heartfelt suggestion. You won't be sorry you did.

The folks here are always friendly and have been helpful and responsive to needs for care and changes in care. Staff and residents are cheerful and engaging whenever we visit. When issues arise, and they always do, staff have been good at working to find solutions. [name removed] has been good to work with and has been very responsive to our needs.
