What we really like about Brookdale Dowlen Oaks and what really stood out to us right away are the staff and residents - everyone there is so friendly and so nice. Based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to other families.

What sticks out the most about Brookdale Altamonte Springs is the staff. They know my mom... like actually know her. Also, during the hurricane, several of the executive staff stayed at the community to make sure everything and everyone was safe. They go above and beyond.

My daughter and I recently moved my grandmother and her great grandmother into Brookdale-Coloniel Heights. When we walked in to inquire about the facility, we were introduced to [name removed] who did our facility walk through. [name removed]was extremely thorough, transparent, and asked specific questions for what our needs were for my grandmother. He listened empathetically and provided insight into the care that this facility could provide for her. Once my grandmother moved in, the ongoing communication from Nursing with respect to my grandmother's care continued and still continues to this day. I am kept well informed of her daily and weekly progress. This has been vital for me since I live 2 1/2 hours away in Hickory, North Carolina. I would like to commend the maintenance staff for their assistance with the move-in process as well as ongoing communication as to if we need anything. They even called me as a courtesy, to see if my Gram needed anything. I would highly recommend Brookdale.

I am so pleased with this community, so far we have not seen any negatives about the communities. Our first meeting we met with everyone that worked in the community. My loved one went from a one bedroom in the last community to a two bedroom with less of a cost. The food has a variety of selection to choose from they have fresh fruits that they bring around to the residents. This community takes dogs as well, must be fully vaccinated and licensed.

I toured this community and liked it. They were very helpful and informative. Not the best fit for our loved one's needs, but a nice place!

It is an excellent community. The care is good, the transition into the center is great however after transition the communication is a lot less. My loved one got Covid during the first month, and I believe the communication could have been better, but the care was great. The residents receives 3 meals a day, and they have food choices to choose from. My loved ones favorite activity that they offer is bingo, and they have seasonal activities for the residents as well.

Our tour at Brookdale Sarasota Midtown was very nice. The facility itself is really accommodating and pretty. The people were friendly (recognizing full well they’re trying to sell you something and putting their best foot forward). But pricewise it was considerably more per month than the place we chose. I’m sure you get your money's worth, but there were more frills than we needed or were looking for. Otherwise I could have been happy having my loved one there.

We picked this community because of, the location, services, friendliness and cleaniless. One thing they could improve on, is have staff park off-sit, because sometimes it's dificult finding a parking spot. I would recommend this community to other places.

The community is clean, my dad feels safe and I love that the staff answers my questions and calls me back! Dad moved from Florida a year ago and the people at his old community never called us back and did not answer email's. It is so nice to get information when we need it.

The staff are all friendly and helpful with taking care of the resident's needs, and will get answers to any questions you may have. They are attentive to everyone there. The nutrition is also good. Well balanced meals and snacks in between. They have an outside courtyard that's available to go outside to walk or sit and get some fresh air. They decorate with cheerful colors for the occasion . They provide music and fun events also For the residents.

My father was sent to Brookdale Greenwood Village after a stay in the hospital. I spent ten days at Brookdale with my father ranging 8-24 hours a day. The staff consisting of CNAs, nurses, doctors, PT, OT, administrators, cleaners, and cooks were all very kind and compassionate people. They treated my father with dignity and respect. Thank you for your service.

I picked this community because, It met my needs with neurological problems, I had many friends in town, and the price was right. The residents are friendly, staff are supberb, and the facility is excellent.

We picked this community because, we liked the overall feel of the community. It did not have a cold industrial feel and the staff was friendly. It was kept very clean.

Mom has been a resident of Brookdale St. Augustine for 5 years now. Although she has slowly sucommed to old age, (she's 90 1/2), her CARE at Brookdale as ALWAYS BEEN WONDERFUL! The Nursing Staff keeps us informed of her status, and even though Mom can be Cantankerous a lot of the time, she is still treated with kindness and caring staff. They make sure she gets her shower and help her dress, as she has become very lax in that area. We could NOT be more pleased with our choice of Brookdale. A final salute to [name removed], on the front desk, who takes SUCH GOOD CARE of all the residents - she genuinely cares that they are well taken care of. AND to [name removed], the Executive Director who is always available and personable - both are outstanding representatives for the facility!

This is the perfect place for our mom, not so fussy as to be intimidating but very adequate and well suited for her. The staff are all really caring and seem to understand that making residents comfortable and at ease is key to their satisfaction with living in a community.

I think this is a great place for a loved one to live. The community appears to be very safe place. The staff are very friendly. The communication with the family has been really good and they keep us in the loop on any changes of our loved one. There are three meals a day served and the residents have choices to choose from.

I had to move my dad into the community after losing my mom. The staff has been fantastic in helping get him acclimated. It's nice to know my dad is getting the best care. I highly recommend this community as the residents get the most sincere care.

I toured this community and it was excellent. Very clean and staff was very friendly. I noticed the interaction between the staff and residents, it was very good. Very genuine. If they could have provided the level of care my loved one needs, he would be here. The tour was great, my guide took her time with me and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them!

There is no complaints with the food. We picked this community because, of the interation with the management team, and I liked how well taken care of the other residents were. It has been so positive. I could not have picked a better place. Overall, I would highly recommend.
