Brookdale

Brookdale Florham Park is a really nice place. We felt it was too big for our loved one who had memory issues. We felt with having so many residents she would not get the personalized care she needed. The bathrooms are in the rooms and we were scared she would fall and no one would be able to find her.

We have had no complaints so far and we have been very satisfied with the experinece. The staff are extremely easy to work with and have made things go smoothly. The room sizes are more than adequate for our needs. I would recommend Brookdale Uptown Whittier others.

We had a really good tour experience with Brookdale Richland and this would have been my first choice if it were up to me. The apartment sizes here were smaller but they seemed to have a lot of amenities provided. The staff were very nice and accommodating with my schedule. It came down to the price and the fact that the facility had multiple stories and we wanted something all on one level.

We've been very pleased. The transition to move in there seemed to go very smoothly, which I think has a lot to do with the staff making them feel comfortable being there. For my mother, I liked that the facility is smaller. I'm not sure she would have handled a larger facility quite as well. The facility is generally clean, although they were a little slow getting in to clean her room initially. The hallway carpet is looking a little worn, but the rooms are are hardwood floors, which are very nice. And everything seems to be working itself out. I feel the care is going very well. I couldn't ask for more. They keep me informed, and I'm just very pleased.

I would say that this is a nice community and they take good care of my loved one. I would recommend this community for you or your loved one. The staff are great and some of them are exceptionally good and some of them are not so friendly. The tour was great and they gave me all the information I needed for this community.

We love Brookdale. The staff is very caring, helpful, and friendly. The other residents are friendly as well. My folks are in the condo/cottage style living, but the apartments I toured seemed spacious compared to others I've seen, and they were definitely clean. I think it's a great value here.

This is a really nice place that is clean. I like the people here. The food from the menu looks good. I would recommend Brookdale North Euclid to others for their loved ones. The staff are quick to answer any of the family's questions, and address our concerns. They try their best to satisfy the family's requests and questions. Laundry, housekeeping, bathing assistance, the room, and three meals a day are included in the monthly price. Exercise classes, crocheting, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from. There are nice sitting areas for the family to sit with our loved one, and the outside patio is nice as well. The food is pretty good. My loved one seems to enjoy the choices available for meals. The meals seemed to be balanced as well.

I think it's a great community. [name removed], the sales/marketing person, was exceptional in helping us get my dad in there. There was a waiting list, and my dad really needed a placement quickly. So [name removed] called and asked people on the waiting list if we could put my dad ahead, and they agreed. There was VA paperwork that needed to be faxed, but their fax wasn't working. He drove from Concord to Salisbury to get that paperwork in for us. There was only an interim Executive Director when we moved in, but now they've hired one, and he is exceptional. I have his number, and I can text him anytime I have an issue and he will take care of it immediately. The caregivers are really sweet to my dad too. He absolutely loves is the food and tells me every day how good it is. All round it has been a good situation.

my mother in here March this year. she has not been there long, but so far the staff have been very nice and supportive of my mother. they come by and remind her to eat and if she's not there, but with me offsite, they leave her a meal in her room. the facility is very quick to call me if my mother falls or has any type of incident. I feel very confident, that this move is the best move for my mother and her care.

Our first impression of Brookdale Uptown Whittier was great. From the minute we walked in I paid attention and all the residents looked content and happy, the staff were super friendly, and the prices were very reasonable compared to some of the other places we looked into. There are tons of activities provided, for example they have happy hours on Wednesday which my mom loves; someone comes in and plays an instrument and takes requests. They have arts and crafts classes and they display what they make in the front for everyone to see. They have matinee and movie nights as well. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale to others looking.

Happy with this decision. We did look at about 6 places but thought this community had everything we were looking for for our Dad. There is a little kitchenette, large bathroom with walk in shower, very large walk in closet, living room and good sized bedroom. Assisted living care is attached to the apartment but we can add on enhanced care services whenever dad needs them. This will likely keep him out of a nursing home which is exactly what we were hoping for him. Great first impression! Friendly kind staff, nurses and we met the Chef. They had an opening after only waiting a couple weeks but I would tell families to get there sooner than they need so things get better faster. NO complaints from Dad which is a first. We all feel very good about this place and ultimately our Dad is happy here.

Before my scheduled visit I received an email from Brookdale with all kinds of helpful information in it that helped answer a lot of my questions before I even stepped a foot in the door. Again, before my visit I was contacted by Brookdale to make sure my appointment time was convenient for me, which it really wasn’t, and was offered several different times that would work better. Once I arrived I was even more impressed. Brookdale is a beautiful facility and very clean. I met with [name removed] and was given information that would help me and my family in this process even if we didn’t pick Brookdale. She was genuine and knows so much about the process! Although we have not placed my Mom yet, Brookdale would definitely be my first pick!

The administration team and the executive team are all very consciousness with their own staff team and the residents living there. The staff and the community itself is very well designed and even with current circumstance making things more difficult at times the staff are doing they best that they can. The activities that they list and what they follow through with don't always match up. We understand the activities depend on the number of participates but we would to see more engaging activities. However the staff are still very attentive to the resident's and are very loving and kind. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to others.

Our search for assisted living started faster than our family was ready. My brother, sister and I toured several places. When we toured Brookdale, we were extremely impressed. . Once we committed to Brookdale Salisbury the process was seamless. I am not going to name the staff because I am afraid I would leave someone out, but lets just say they take care of our mom. She settled in very quickly. She loves the food and activities. I have told so many people, I WOULD LIVE HERE. She is very comfortable and loves her "apartment". We have raved to so many people and could not be more happy with Brookdale-Salisbury. Would highly recommend. The facility is awesome and most importantly our mom is well taken care of. We are beyond pleased and totally recommend Brookdale Salisbury for anyone looking for assisted living for their loved one.

I have lived here almost 12 yrs and I really like it. there is a lot of activities always, friendly people, food is great. we have been very safe against Covid. the staff is very caring and always willing to help you anytime day or night.

my neighbor moved in 2 months ago and doing well. she likes the food and has made several friends. care people seem helpful when I visit.

the team at Brookdale N.P.R. was able to help my mom [name removed], come from the hospital to the facility. [name removed] was always available to answer any questions/concerns since I was out of state and had no one local to rely on. she put me in touch with everyone. thank you.

This community was dark depressing and would not have considered probably one of the worse communities that I visited.

I recommend Brookdale all the time to friends. My loved one is very high maintenance and when my loved one needs help, the community is there to assist my loved one every time. I'm very grateful for Brookdale. The staff are very attentive to the family with our questions or concerns. The philosophy of the administrator, what mom does at mom's house, mom gets to da. This was very comforting to me. The apartment, meals transportation to doctor appointments. if my loved one needs assistance the staff are there to assist my loved one and this is all included in the monthly fee. The residents have a bracelet with a call button to request assistance from the staff. There are activities for the residents to choose from if they want to partake in. The community will take the residents to Walmart and other stores. They have good food for my loved one and there are choices for meals.

Brookdale Meadowmont was equally as nice as the other Brookdale facility that we ended up going with. The sales rep was great and super informative during our tour. We liked everything that we saw. It is a little smaller and more quiet which may be just what some prefer, but my mother is more of a social butterfly so we wanted a place that had some more going on. All of the residents that we saw looked happy. It seems like a well run, beautiful facility.
