Brookdale

I love it here at Brookdale Gallatin! I'm involved in about five activities and they are all 5's!The food is super. Brookdale was the first community I looked at that was economical. I toured and moved in the next day. I made the right decision! I would recommend them to anybody.

I was not able to use this facility due to my funds, but [Removed] who contacted me was very professional and answered all of my questions, and was able to help me look in to alternatives who can take care of my mother in law. This place I would highly recommend they have the best customer service. I have heard a lot of great things about this facility.

The atmosphere at Brookdale Roseburg is bright and uplifting. I like the fish tanks and Bright paint, it makes for a positive environment.When I first walked in I felt good about the place. My mother is rather introverted so she doesn't join in the activities but she has expressed interest in going on the trips to the Wildlife Safari.I have been quite surprised that she enjoys the food so much. She went on a cruise ship and didn't even like the food. I've been there while she is eating and she gets excited and asks me to take a bite because her meal that day is delicious. I've been quite impressed with the personal attention she gets. They come into her room every 10-15 minutes to check on her.The staff is really cheerful. My mother had an issue with one person, she is very nice but her personality did not match my mothers. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Roseburg.

We like the Brookdale Collin Oaks very much. My mother is enjoying all of the activities that they offer and all fo the residents that she has interacted with. Everyone there has been wonderful, I recommend them to anyone looking.

Just good people who treat their residents like family. Theres always bumps in the road everywhere, and they are always on top of it. Nursing dir does a good job with care, aids understand dignity,, chef takes feedback well and makes them happy, activities mgr is creative and patient and the sales mgr shouldn't be called "sales" cause she's better than most social workers. The community is clean and feels like home. This is our 3rd place and we woulnts consider moved again. I can't thank them enough. I don't worry anymore about her.

I am very happy with my choice on choosing this community for my mother to live in. I was very impressed with the staff and how organized they where when it came to how they ran things at this place. The food they serve is reasonable and they have a great activity list of things for the residents to do throughout there week. I liked how the staff addressed any issues that we have almost immediately after I make the complaint. I would defiantly recommend this place.

Great community with a wonderful staff. Very friendly and accommodating to their residents. They are always happy to see families and always greet me with a smile.

My father in law was off to a rough start, but now he is doing very well. He seems to be happy. They have gotten more residents so now he has more people to socialize with and join activities within the future. They keep the residents very busy. The place is clean and the food is very good, We would recommend this place!

When my parents moved into Grand Court Brookdale more than 2 years ago, I was trepidatious. They had spent most of their very busy lives overseas, healthy and very independent. I knew that narrowing their world to a retirement village, as age ate away at their independence, would be a huge adjustment. Though they moved into a lovely 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment at Grand Court, had surprisingly delicious meals served to them 3 times a day, and had many daily activities to choose from, these were not the reasons their time at Grand Court was so good for them. It was the amazing staff and loving residents who made their adjustment easy and their time there enjoyable. At every turn of the road there were friends and Grand Court staff to help my parents along. My siblings and I will be forever grateful to them for all they have done for our parents while they were at Grand Court. The journey from independence to total dependence is difficult. Thank you, Grand Court, for helping us on that road, giving us support and peace of mind in our care for our parents.

We have been very happy with this community. We like the staff that is caring and attentive. They are ready to answer any questions that come up as new residents get settled and used to a new environment. The menu is varied giving residents many choices at each meal. Many activities are offered for all. Residents are able to bring a small pet with them. The building has large, bright hallways and an interior courtyard. Families would be happy with this smaller community.

Brookdale Valpariso has a very caring staff and they seem genuinely concerned about the residents. They try to get mom to join in on activities and she does sometimes. The only complaint I have is I have to ring a doorbell to get into the building and have someone let me out when I leave. This is especially frustrating if I have to go out to my car during my visit. I understand they want to keep residents safe but I think they could alter their process or have a keypad families use and change every couple months.

Mom is doing well at Brookdale. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is great and they offer a lot of activities. The community is clean and I would say it is one of the top communities in Kansas City.

My brother-in-law was a resident of the community but has passed. The staff were very helpful with his care and to the family. Our experience with the community was very good.

My step-daughter spoke with a representative from Brookdale and they were able to give a nice experience but after hearing not good things we did not pursue. We were told about a community fee that had to paid before moving in. We also knew that they were farther from where we live. Not a good fit for this family.

I was so impressed with this community during our tour. The staff where absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make accommodations for my mother and try to make any arrangements they could to get her to be able to move in. They have a great dinning room experience as well activity program in place for all of the residents. I would love to live there personally in the future if they would have me.

We are grateful for excellent care given to my mom and others. The community is always clean and well-maintained. The staff at Brookdale works well with her meal needs. They offer the residents wonderful daily activities. We recommend this community to others for the care of their loved ones.

My mother and father lived at Brookdale Grand Court for nearly three years. It was a wonderful time for them and for us. The residents have been like family and the staff has been helpful and courteous to us at all times. My mother loves to sing and participating in the musical activities was always such fun for her. My daddy really enjoyed exercising with [Removed] and the other residents in the morning, until he was no longer able to do so. Worship on Sunday with the residents was such a wonderful time for them. It gave my father an opportunity to take a leadership part in the service (my daddy was a preacher for about 70 years) and Mama loved singing, taking communion and worshiping with their friends. These have been such happy days and I thank the staff and all our resident family for the love and care they gave my parents.

It is a wonderful experience for my husband. The staff are over and beyond with him and I see he is doing better. He has made a friend that he likes to talk with. The staff are mature a good with the residents. I have not seen any staff turnover and they have worked there for a very long time. I am happy with the community and he is happy there and he loves the nurses.

We made the difficult decision to move my ma into assisted living, and visited Brookdale Port Charlotte 3 times. We had a meals and attended an activity. We were very impressed. This staff demonstrated what we want for ma. We spoke to other residence (some that came from other communities) and all had good things to say. Management listens and meets their requests, involve them in meal planning, activity/outing plans. They even started activities that residents requested. Flexibly is what we saw! The attention to care was evident. We met with their sales manager, who was always responsive and helped us with va benefits and bridge loan options. No pressure, all compasssion and assistance, which the entire family appreciate. We did not experience that at other places! There is so much to consider when making this leap, and we must have looked every where. I can say without reservation Brookdale Port Charlotte it unique. Smaller single story, very clean, well manicured, and peaceful. You can tell this team genuinely care for their residents.

My loved one is still adjusting to the changes, she misses the other place she was at before. The staff at this Brookdale are very friendly they have done what they can to make her feel comfortable. It has been a good experience so far.
