Brookdale

Wonderful place, great, friendly, helpful people. Unlike some places the staff really wants to work with older people and understands their needs. From first contact to everyday interactions the staff has been easy to work with, knowledgeable, and caring.

This community is well taken care of. My friend likes the food and participates in some of the daily activities. The staff seem to be great. I would recommend this community.

I am very happy with my decision to move my mother to this community. The place is kept clean, it was already furnished when we moved in and the rooms have a good smell to them. The community is small, only about 20 residents total, so everyone knows everyone's name. The staff take very good care of my loved one and keep her very safe. They offer many activities such as painting and story time which I think is lovely.

Mom is doing great. She is getting use to the community, it takes time to meet people. The community is kept clean a really nice place. The staff are very good and professional. My mom is not crazy about the meals but it is suitable. To help the meals, the residents get together to have a meeting. Activities are also provided and it's really good. I choose them for the location and friendly staff. She knew someone here and it gave her reassurance. She likes being here.

The food is good, healthy and they have a set menu. I have good communication with the staff and they are very accommodating. There are always activities going on and the staff remind mom when they are. The cost is a little high but this is a good fit for mom. I would recommend this community.

My mother has had nothing but great things to say about the staff and the care she has been receiving from them. The housekeeping team has been also very attentive to my mothers bedroom as well as the rest of the facility on making sure it stays clean and well maintained. She also has had no complaints about the food and has really been enjoying the company of the other residents.

The Sales Manager at Brookdale, Jason, is kind and competent. He did a good job of helping us through the move-in process. All the staff and residents are very friendly. The main rooms are beautifully appointed and the majority of the meals are to my Mom's taste. There are activities of all sorts and transportation for appointments and shopping is readily available. I like the fact that Brookdale can accommodate my Mom's changing needs with units on-site that will offer her more help, if she needs it in the future. Brookdale is exactly what my Mom needed.

My brother is happy here. The community is nice and clean and well taken care of. My brother has a device that he can wear in case he falls or injured. The staff is very friendly and the staff has been there for a long time. We have had lunch with my brother and the food was wonderful.

We are happy with the cre that my father is getting here. The staff is caring and friendly. I am happy with the home feeling at this community so that he feels like he is at home and in a nursing home. He is not able to participate,but activities are offered. I would recommend this care to other families.

My parents just love this community and the staff. We were a little worried about it, but they have done a great job with helping them transition. They have started to get involved with a few activities. I would rank them the best of the best.

Meeting with De Anna was very good .The property was very nice , and could not find any problems there. The property is relatively new and very well kept up

PopIn visit was better than the planned visits at other places. Besides feeling homey, staff was friendly and marketing mgr helped us with va solutions and understood what we're going through. Spoke to a few residents who said they love the place and seemed happy. Overall clean with outdoor courtyard in the middle for residents to enjoy. Musician singing and residents seemed to enjoy. Wasn't able to try the food, but residence I spoke with said it's always good, and they pick their meals. Brookdale Port Charlotte seems to be doing it right. They accept pets and have a secure place for the pup to play. We recommend!

My friend is getting great care from the great staff here. They are very caring. The community is very nice and clean. She is offered the activities to enjoy. We would recommend the excellent care that is given here and the value for others.

It is the perfect place for my mother-in-law. We are trying to get her in this weekend. I liked the friendly staff, the food is good. She even said so. And I do believe that she will work well there and come out of the depression and loneliness she is in.

From the moment I was greeted at the door, until we all said goodbye, I was treated with respect, kindness and professionalism. I did not at anytime feel pressured or like I was being sold. I knew this tea had my best interests at heart and were truly looking as their name says looking for a solution for me and my family! Great job.

Staff is very nice to my mother and always attentive. Every issue I have had has been dealt with in a timely manner. The staff and leadership really care for the residents. The food is good, and my mother is happy.

This is my mother's third facility and this by far tops all the previous..although the previous facilities were great, this is exceptional...Staffing ratios, attitudes, cleanliness, interventions, professionalism are all first class. This facility's operation, philosophy, mission and skill levels are very impressive. I would highly recommend this to anyone..my stress level has declined significantly with the visible and audible actions noted...
