He had a wonderful experience with the skilled nursing care received. The facilities and food are excellent. And the staff was both professional and caring! I was kept informed on his progress and appreciated the efforts made to resolve the few concerns I had.

The Heritage is an amazing place! It is built on a beautiful landscape and has great staff to care for its residents. The new Care Center with personal care and memory care is state-of-the-art and fantastic.

I was so impressed by the beautiful new building, but even more so by the caring staff! The nurses and aides are friendly and helpful and you can really see how they work together as a team to provide the best care for the residents that live there! The meals are really amazing too...which is tough to do when everyone has different preferences. Truly outstanding!

My parents are super happy. The community - the staff and other residents are so warm and wonderful. They are very welcoming. The residents are treated like guests - they are never called patients and they are never spoken down too. They are like customers. There is a real opportunity to be part of the community - to get your voice heard and to make immediate changes.

We are so grateful we found Edgemere! Mom and Dad were needing assistance and could not stay at home and they have settled so well into the assisted living at Edgemere. The service and amenities for the price was unmatched and the food is great! Mom and Dad stay busy and they are happy which was so important for our family!

The facility was clean and new. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of activities. And the nursing staff was very attentive to my family member.

After Dad died, Mom's loneliness was engulfing her more and more. While the thought of leaving the home they had shared so long together was heartbreaking, she was looking forward to being around other people again on a daily basis. While she still grieves, she is happy to have found a community at Lexington where she feels at home, fits in with new friends, and has even reconnected with an old neighbor that she discovered is living there.

We have not had experience with the meals or dining service but when we speak with our loved one she seems to really be enjoying it. They do offer a fair amount of good activities for the residents to do. The overall value is good, we feel that you get a lot for what you pay for. She is happy there and based on our families experience so far we would recommend Lexington Square to others

Lexington Square is the best place for senior living. They give the best of care to my dad who has been a resident for over [number removed] years. The facility is very clean, the staff is super attentive, upbeat and friendly. If he has a medical need, the nurses are just a phone call away. They follow up on my dad and make sure the family is notified if necessary. I know he is safe, has numerous activities to keep him busy, both mentally and physically. He has many friends and recently turned 99 years old and is still in independent living. Thank you Lexington for taking such loving care of my dad. You are the best!

Lexington Square Lombard was our second choice, the sales staff were all very knowledgeable and up front and the facility itself was nice.

The community is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The community is focused on activities and keeping residents active and engaged I would recommend this community to others based on my experience

We toured Lexington Square and it is a little bit of an older facility. The reason we did not choose them was because it is in a very busy area and did not have a park. The team was great with follow up.

Two years prior to coming to The Heritage, I had visited and toured six other retirement communities. Most were similar in what they had to offer, but what stood out at The Heritage was the friendliness of the residents, not to mention the most delicious meals. Moving in August during COVID-19, left me with a day 10 day quarantine, which I didn't mind at all, as I had much to organize. Following quarantine, I felt as though I had a "dance card" on my calendar as one person after another would call to dine with them and get acquainted. They introduced me to the activities that I now enjoy- brain fitness, book club, and new to me- cornhole. I enjoy using the fitness room, walking out doors, and spending time on my patio. I'm now learning to play Mahjong.

I moved to The Heritage 4 years ago. I've never once looked back and questioned my move. Most importantly, at the end of the day, I sit in my recliner, look around my apartment, and I say to myself "this is my home and I am happy." I give thanks for all the new and interesting people I've met and for the many friends I've made. Life is good!

During my first visit I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Everyone greeted me by my first name, and introduced me to people that passed by that I didn't know. They told me when I move in that this is my home and should treat it as my home. And that's exactly what I'm doing, for example, I can furnish and decorate my apartment and patio anyway I like. There is a daily health check-in that makes me feel very safe and secure. There is too much to say, so I suggest you come and visit yourself, and find out all the "goodies."

I recently moved my sister in-law in to Green HIlls Manor. I can not say enough about how smooth everything went moving her from her former apt to Green Hills. The move could not have went any better. Till I got her over to the Manor from her apt, her room was all set up and ready for her to move in. Everyone who helped with the move could not have been any nicer. She is all settled in and seems to be very happy. I would highly recomend Green HIlls Manor to anyone looking to make this type of move.

My wife and I moved here in 2011. We have a very nice apartment with two bedrooms and a deck. We furnished it to our taste. We have made a lot of friends in a very friendly retirement community. We are involved in many activities and events. You just cannot be bored living here. The residents have so many activities from which to choose (or not!). The food is excellent. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menus for lunch and dinner change every day and it is al fresh. Fish is on the dinner menu every night. There is a bar with wine, beer, and mixed drinks. The staff is very willing to be of help. There are health personnel on duty every day. If you are looking for an active community for independent living, check out the Heritage and see why it has received awards for the best retirement community in Berks county.

I can't say enough great things about this place. Everything from the food to the events to the housekeeping and meticulous maintenance of the building is amazing. They cater to you, they are friendly and knowledgeable and because they have every level of care under one roof, it is very convenient for everybody.
