It was so difficult to sell our home and downsize to a small apartment. However, we have not missed owning our own home once in the year we have been here. The management team is incredible and try their best to meet our needs. Everyone is friendly and support one another. I highly recommend Novel Place as a wonderful answer to the loneliness of living in your own home. Everyone here provides friendship and support for one another.

We had a great experience with Azpira Place Lake Zurich. They have a very lively and energetic atmosphere. There is a high level of energy from not only residents but staff as well. There was always a lot of participation in the activities. They seemed to do a lot of group activities, parties, events, etc. Or if you just wanted to watch a movie, you had a whole movie room you could watch it in. As soon as we walked in we knew this was the place, you could feel the energy when you walk in and that is exactly what she needed at the time. We wish that she could have stayed here but she ended up needing more care after her fall. I would highly recommend them and already have to many others.

This is an excellent place if your family member is relatively healthy. If they need a bit more medical oversight or have medication changes you'll want to keep close tabs. The staff is very kind and those who have longevity are great. Several staffers were not familiar with how to manage oxygen and that was a concern.

There are many considerations when finding a new home for a parent. Our search was complete after locating Novel Place in Overland Park. Our mother was reluctantly moving from her home of 55 years. So her check-off list was long. She loves the warm community of residents and staff in a gorgeous independent living facility. She chose a lovely 2-bedroom apartment with brand new decor, with a fenced patio overlooking a courtyard. After a year and a half, she has experienced a very responsive staff, with a very active social calendar of activities. Conveniently she has seen a visiting eye-doctor, a podiatrist, and is able to get flu shots and vaccines on site. Novel Place has been a warm and welcoming place that she now calls home. We can rest easy knowing that her safety and security are provided at Novel Place.

As one of the first residents of Novel Place, [date removed], I have enjoyed an Independent Lifestyle that can't be beat in the area. Novel Place is a resident friendly community where we check on each other almost daily. The facility is well built and provides a top notch management staff, daily activities, excellent culinary, light housekeeping, transportation for those that no longer drive, outings to restaurant's museums, cultural events and more. Monthly rates are reasonable on month to month with no contracts. There are studio, one bedroom, one bedroom with a den, and two bedroom units, all have full kitchen and washer and drier included. Come take a tour to see the greatness of Novel Place.

If you are looking for a place for your Mom or other loved one, look no further than Novel Place Senior Living community in Overland Park. Mom will love the total atmosphere. It's new, clean and it feels just like home. The residents become your family and I can tell you, you will experience the friendship and love like never before. There are so many activities that will keep you busy and enjoy the camaraderie that you will wonder why it took so long to come here. You will not find an exceptional Staff anywhere else that will match the staff here. They are truly a great asset to Novel Place. I could go on and on about Novel, but I encourage you to come explore our community and make it your home!

Novel Place was so welcoming and felt like “home” on our first visit. Caring and professional administrators helped navigate the living choices and find the perfect place. Giving up your home and moving can be an unsettling experience and the right fit makes the transition easier. All the amenities of home and wonderful dining experiences, plus a menu of activities is such a plus! We are so pleased a year into the selection of Novel Place and highly recommend it for any parent or loved one looking for the right community and beautiful apartment.

This is a newer community which we love and the value for the money gets 10 stars, it is excellent. Even though it is independent living only they do have health care professionals that live on sight. Our loved one absolutely loves the dinners - Monday through Friday the prepare breakfast and dinner, Saturday is lunch only and Sunday is brunch. They have great activities. The rooms have full kitchens in them. Based on our experience we would 100% recommend Novel Place community to other families.

I moved to Novel Place when it first opened. There were approximately 15 residents. At dinner, the dinning room host had the tables arranged in a large circle due to covid and there was only one per table. Even though it was a large circle we learned each other names and the Host knew our names and made sure our dinner time was enjoyable. Here we are [date removed] and Novel Plave has outgrown the circle. The dining room host does a great job making sure all meals are delivered in a timely and professional manner. When my Apartment is cleaned every two weeks, the ladies do a great job. When I moved from my home to my Apartment this was home from day one. I have no regrets and I have made lots of friends. The activities are so much fun, we play balloon baseball, field trips, dinner thearte, movies, etc.

My mother has lived at Novel Place for almost one year and it has been a pleasant move into Senior Living. The office personnel and the residents are friendly and caring and the facility is kept in immaculate condition.

My mother moved in to Novel Place the day that it opened. She had previously lived in another independent living residency, but Novel Place is a top notch community, and has been such a wonderful place for her to be. Her 1 bedroom apartment is so light and bright, and is so up to date. She has made so many real friendships, loves to participate in all the social activities, and enjoys going out on their excursions to restaurants, gardens, and even to the dinner theatre. The residents love to gather around the fire pit after dinner to wind down before the day ends. It is such a close community, and the staff has been on the upswing now given that they are making adjustments in the dining room. I highly recommend Novel Place.

I love the community. Feels like home here. The staff is wonderful. There is always something to do whether it be fireside chats or the library or games . You can go to the library if you just want a good book to read and relax. I am very happy with Novel Place .

Great place to live. Employees to the residents. You can make good friends and long lasting friendships. Feel at home . Am happy to be here and am delighted to come back home here when we our our doing things. It is a great place to call home. The price of the Apts along with the meals and what we Get are okay for now. If the rent goes up at any point it will not Be good for alotn.of us on a fixed income. This is our home and DO NOT WANT TO.HAVE TO MOVE.

I have lived here about a month now and have made many friends here. The people are so friendly and helpful. They have many activities for us to do. The meals are very good and they have a wonderful selection. They give you 2 choices for an entree and an extra menu if you don’t like them. We also have many outings that you can sign up for. I looked at several places in this area and this was the nicest one I found. I’m very happy I found the novel place.

The food is sometimes good and sometimes it's not. My loved one is very happy.The units are fabulous. Everything that you could possibly want is included. Also, my loved one made 6-8 new friends, since they have been there.

It's a lovely, beautiful, new facility. I feel that my loved one is safe there, and I don't need to worry about her. The staff are mixed - some are great, and some maybe need a little training / settling in. As a new facility, I feel like there's a learning curve. They're also not at full capacity yet, which affects the amenities. But it has great potential. Everyone is very nice and definitely tries their hardest. The most important thing is I don't worry about my loved one, and I still highly recommend it. I looked at a bunch of places. I thought t was the best after all my tours, and I still feel like it's the best, even compared to other places that were more expensive. I think they can and will improve as everyone they matures into their roles.
