Cemetery here is amazing, through cards, having dinner and social events. The amenities are great too! The ability to have meals prepared for you is a huge hit as well. I have made great friendships while being here.

The apartments are very nice and adequate. The dining staff are very nice as well, they know us by name and sometimes already have us taken care of before we even sat down. The front doors are locked after hours and on the weekends as well. I do most of the activities and they keep me busy. Joanne does a good job at having different things going on throughout the day. I miss some of the events because I go out for the day which makes me want to stay here more often.

The activities here are great! Some of the games I love the most are Bunco and Bingo. They also have Book Club too, which involves great conversations and challenges us to think. Novel Place is a great place to meet friends and get involved at the comfort of your home. Beautiful place.

There isn't an excuse for being lonely because everyone is so nice here and include you into what they have going on. Exercise is probably my favorite event here at Novel Place. [name removed] our activities director is amazing and has us doing all types of different things.

If you’re looking for a place to call home and meet new friends. This is the place to go. The activities here are well planned out and designed to cater to any interest! I keep busy every day.

We toured many different assisted livings and memory cares in the area and this was the one we felt was the best fit. My mom is thriving there and we love how great all the staff is. Its clean and the food is amazing. The care staff are really attentive their residents and are very caring. I highly recommend!

Multiple activities to choose from every day, active or not. Our activity director [name removed], always has a great variety to select from. We also go to other locations to eat and play. We are truly blessed she brightens our days.

I am very happy living here with such nice, caring neighbors and staff. My days are filled with many options of interesting things to do as well as times for having an interesting conversation with someone I haven't met before. The surroundings here are wonderful.

I feel our activities are wonderful and she does a great job! We play a lot of card games and I enjoy the arts and crafts classes. Many items made in class have been given as gifts (such as bracelets).

Going on 3 years as Novel Place residents, my wife and I would not think of going anywhere else. The past 2 years have been an incredible journey. The friends we've made are now our extended family. Our incredible activity director keeps us busy and entertained, our Chef prepares great meals, our maintenance staff keeps things running smoothly, and our marketing director is tops in bringing in new residents. I cannot leave out our housekeeping staff and the great job they do. Need I say more about our experience here? Come see for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

Common areas are clean, thoughtfully decorated. Easy access to mail room, and trash rooms on each hallway. The most important thing is every apartment has a washer and dryer. Novel Place reminds me of an old song " Summertime when the living is easy." For your mom-living here is easy all year. This is a place where you will make new friends. Apartments have a lovely bathroom and walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Food, activities and staff are great. Lovely library too.

Anybody that's looking for a place- this is the best! Beautiful, clean, people are nice! Our Activity Director is terrific! The whole care team is too!

The building is so clean - love the white/grey colors inside apartment. It's a beautiful community. Friendly and nice residents - always welcoming to sit together at dinner and at happy hours. Love the staff!

We are very pleased with Novel Place all the way around. It's a fantastic place for my mother. She has made good friends. The food is good. She loves the patios and decks. She enjoys the crafts, exercise classes, and movie nights, as well as happy hour. The facility is clean. And the staff is friendly and attentive. Novel Place brought a new and welcome atmosphere for my mother that she truly loves, and I would definitely recommend it.

My parents are very excited to move in (as so am I). They have enjoyed meeting many of the residents. The staff have been awesome and the residents I have met have been super friendly and happy. I am going to enjoy "hanging out" even if it is not with my parents :)

I have had a great experience with HarborChase Long Grove. My loved one enjoys their time here. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and they have several choices to choose from. My loved one enjoys the meals and socializing with other residents. Overall, I would recommend HarborChase Long Grove to others for their loved ones.

Novel Place has been great. It's a lovely place. Everybody goes above and beyond to make sure their residents have everything they need. The apartments are very nice. And If something needs fixed, they're pretty quick to get up there and get it taken care of.

We've had a good experience with the facility and the staff. The location is great. There's a park across the street, and lots of places nearby to go eat. The only area for improvement is it seems there has been a turnover in staff, and I don't necessarily understand why. I figure it's just hard to keep people in this line of business. They've told me they're working on it and are trying to bring in some better-quality people. Overall the care, cleanliness, activities, and facility have been wonderful. My wife has really adapted to it, which has been a pleasant surprise. She seems to be very happy there. I see a look of contentment on her that I haven't seen in a long time. They administer her meds on time every day, which removes a big burden from me. It was a hard decision to have to make, but I have no regrets.

This is my forever home. I have never been happier. Just not enough hours in the day to do it all.
