I would rate it 4/5. Always room for improvement. Things I like The activities, the food menu and the in house doctor's visits for podiatry and ophthalmology. They also have a beautician that comes out once a week. Things that could improve. Feeding the residents seems a-little like feeding inmates just quickly passing out food giving out dessert even before they are finished with their meal even if it's ice cream that could melt. When looking for a place for your loved ones you need to put in the foot work and look at several facilities before making your final decision The Pointe was the right fit for my parents

Staff and help is friendly, happy and call you by name. Food is good and portions are large, you can order small portion portion.

Communication about medicine is not very good. Not a lot of communication with the nurses. Not a lot of communication on other things either like not showering or skipping a lot of meals. Have to run into them by chance to get that info or have convo. A lot of repetitive activities but good they have them. Food is ok and nice there is options.

I don't have any negative feedback whatsoever . The facility has been a good fit for my mother in law. As I have recently toured facilities for my mother, I've noticed some are newer, brighter, and have staff that are more engaging with their residents. That is why I gave most areas a 4 rating. Eastgate is a little quiet, which has been fine for my mother in law.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Pointe at Kilpatrick. Overall, her experience has been good and most everything has been good for her. However, the food hasn't been as good lately. It seems like more processed food is being served.

It's very clean and a good atmosphere overall. The last 2 months, there have been some staff changes in all departments. I think they're just going through growing pains right now, which is understandable. It's still a great place and the residents' needs are being met. They just have to get through the transition period. It seems like they're starting to get it worked out. The food has been up and down also because of it. It used to be great, but it's a hit or miss now. Again, due to staff shortages and probably also supply shortages like everyone else right now. They really do cater to residents' needs well. Communication with the family could improve in some areas. The nurses are great about communication, but the billing and finance department could improve. Ultimately, this place fits the bill. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Our family had an in person tour and we like the community but it was just not the right fit. It is only independent living and we wanted something that would offer more care, more assisted living but it is still very nice.

We chose The Pointe because they knew the area well and they had been a couple of times already so they felt more comfortable here. The staff is phenomenal, they are so friendly and helpful. My parents both had covid and they sent them to a nursing home that was not set up for them. I know it is out of caution and they are trying to keep the residents as safe as possible. There are not a lot of activities provided, so I think they could use some improvements there. I would definitely recommend this facility, I finally have peace of mind.

[name removed] Dir. of Sales & Mrktg. is very thorough with giving information and answering questions. Upon entry of the facility it is bright, cheery and welcoming! The common areas were well lit and clean making it inviting for the residents. They're a lot of activities and plenty of amenities to care for resident's needs. The one item of concern is the apts. are kinda small and boxy. However, we're looking forward to a return visit with the relative.

Very good activities but cramped environment

This is a wonderful facility. The only draw back is the reception. I did not feel welcome when I first arrived. This is a tough decision for a family to make and greeting when arriving speaks volumes.

We haven't had any problems with this community. My mother is doing well since her move here. I do feel she is safe, and in good hands here. They have a good staff, they have been helpful, and kind. It has been a nice experience for us at this community, and I would recommend it.

This is a lovely community, and my mother is doing very well here. I know she is safe and good hands. The staff is wonderful, they are very friendly and helpful. We did have a little situation with her medications, but we have resolved that issue. We are comfortable with the care they are providing her with. Everything has worked out very well for us at this community, and I would recommend.

The community was very alluring. The staff was very friendly. There were a lot of activities available for the residents. The only negative comment i have is that they did not allow cats. Overall very nice place.

This was a nice clean community. I liked the staff I met when I toured. They did have a waiting list and we were looking for a place dad could move into sooner.

Very comfortable pleasant surroundings. All the Staff are friendly and helpful.

There is a young man who works there who helped us unload a piano and then move it into the facility. I really appreciated his willingness to do that and help out. Other than that, Woodridge is a fine place.

Overall things have gone well here for my loved one, I think they do a good job. It is a nice looking place, they keep everything clean, and the staff are all very friendly and professional.

Nice, homey place. Takes Medicaid, but does not have the level of assistance that may be required.
