My 88 year-old mother has Alzheimer’s and lives with me. I thought I could handle it and do everything but I couldn’t so I went looking for help. I came across information for Seniors Helping Seniors and gave them a call. We came out here and we talked and I decided to go with the caregiver for three hours a day three days a week. From the first day, the caregiver came, I felt at ease. She had gone through the same thing with her mom. Three days were such a benefit to my mom. In my opinion, that I wanted three more days and they sent another caregiver. The second caregiver was fantastic as well. I had been buried for 2 1/2 years, with very little help. Both of these caregivers showed the attention and caring that my mom deserves. For the first timing in 2 1/2 years, I have a short period of peace of mind six days a week. I never thought I’d be at this point in life and the best thing I did was called Seniors Helping Seniors.

I am a person that usually doesn't feel comfortable with people coming in my home. I needed help, and found the best agency in Columbus. PostOp they washed me, washed my clothes, dishes, changed my bed linen, took me back and forth to my doctor's appointments, and so much more. Both young ladies surpassed what I was expecting. I am having another outpatient surgery and will call Home Plus Care again if needed when I know the date.

I was very impressed with the caregivers that came to my house. They did everything I asked cheerfully.

And then just totally new to our family. My mother was healthy and strong until she was 92 then she developed dementia. The folks at right at home have been invaluable. Their assistance as well as their depth of knowledge and care have helped us as a family transition into uncharted territory.

Working with the folks at Interim was great. [name removed] worked well with me and my husband providing our home health aide. While we were only with them for a relatively short period, we would definitely use them again if our situation changes.

Amada was very attentive to our needs and Mom's needs. They stayed with her 24 hours a day for a week while I was 3 states away making arrangements for my husband and sister to be able to come down to Texas to be with her in her final days. Amada worked with and scheduled with us while finding kind people to take care of my mother.

[name removed] & [name removed] worked tirelessly to accommodate my needs. They truly make an effort to get to know you and work with you to find the perfect caretakers for your specific needs. They just get it. An absolute pleasure to work with.

I was matched with a compatible helper and am very satisfied. She is kind and considerate and meets my needs and requirements. I have found her to be reliable and trustworthy.. I highly recommend this organization. Their staff is very cooperative, especially [name removed] who is always ready to effectively meet your needs

The whole experience from the very first phone call until now, has been a very professional and wonderful experience. This agency has been very accommodating to my mother’s needs. She made a connection and developed a great rapport from the very beginning. All of my questions and concerns always received a quick response with flexibility and understanding.

We’ve been very happy with Ray of Sunshine Helping Hands. It’s been easy to coordinate timing, the staff that comes out has been very kind and helpful, and we are very comfortable recommending their organization to others!

Working with Cornerstone is very good. They are very accommodating to all my needs. Very easy to work with. I have no problems with Cornerstone.

[name removed] and [name removed] are very good workers with nice personalities! They are very anxious to please and are hard workers! I would recommend them!

My wife has dementia, and and we were looking for a provider that had older more experienced staff. Previous providers had younger staff that was difficult for my wife to communicate with. Much of my time initially was in training them about our routine and how to cook meals, make coffee and wash clothes. The caregiver we received was older and we shared many of the same life experiences. she’s very experienced cook and we ended up sharing recipes. Light Housekeep is no problem for her. But really sets her apart is her ability to communicate and motivate my wife. She has gotten my wife to return to her wood carving which has laid dormant for over two years. We are very lucky to have found Seniors Helping Seniors and I highly recommend them.

Facilitated interfacing between clients and insurance provider. Agency is available to assist clients with problems encountered in all aspects of care.

Griswold of East Polk County has provided excellent service and caregiver for our family. From identifying specific needs for my 96 yo mother, explaining options of care available and then providing a wonderful caregiver to fit our home, we are very satisfied and happy clients!

I like it that my caregiver gets me out. I had to sell my car because I can no longer drive due to an accident. Rides are provided here but are not very convenient. Sometimes they can take me but I have to get my own ride back, if it's after 3:00. I have to schedule my appointments for the afternoon because I can't be ready to go before noon. My helper is a safe driver and is helperful. This is all I have to say about it
