Brookdale

My family and I are so happy with my care here at Brookdale River Road. We wouldn't even consider any other place.

Brookdale -W.E is beyond special! The quality of the care is genuine and nothing short of extraordinary. The staff here is simply MARVELOUS. Our mother has never felt more secure, cared for, and engaged with the staff all the time! We are grateful! [FYI, we went through three places until we were guided here by a perceptive hospital social worker]. Grateful. Grateful. Grateful. Thank you, Brookdale of West Eisenhower Parkway!

When I started the search for an Assisted Living community for my parent, I was referred to several new communities in the Punta Gorda area. As I toured, it was easy to become enamored with the chandeliers, elevators and sheer size of the buildings but I was looking for something that money can't buy. I wanted to walk into a community and feel the warmth of a loving and caring homelike setting. I needed to make sure my mother would be treated like family, feel safe, secure and recognized as the wonderful person she is not just a number. I found all of those things at Brookdale on PGI. As I entered the community, I saw residents talking and laughing with the staff. While I toured with [name removed] , the Sales Mgr, she explained that everything is personalized for each resident, from the dining menu to the activities and everything in between! As we walked, I spoke with residents who all echoed the same sentiment... they loved living there and the staff was wonderful, caring and devoted.

It is not an easy decision to find a facility for a loved one, especially when the loved one has memory deficits and has to learn a new environment. [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] and staff at Brookdale W. Eisenhower eased the transition for my mom. They have shown her grace, compassion and met her where she is cognitively. The staff are skilled at helping people with all types of dementia, and for my mom it’s dementia with Lewy bodies. The staff work well with the residents, but also each other. We feel very fortunate and at ease with my mom at Brookdale W. Eisenhower.

Staff is wonderful and professional. Relieves my stress that mom will be well cared for.

Moved here about 2 years ago from Colo. We have found it a great transition and lovely home for Dad. Doing a great job and we enjoy visiting/eating/hanging out with Dad here

They have been very helpful dealing with insurance. We love it and mom seems content and we'll cared for. We picked this community, because the staff made eye contact, were open and friendly, the places looked super clean and smelled good. The residents seemed content and happy.

I would still wish for my dad to be able to be independent and in his own home. Since that is not possible, Brookdale has been an excellent alternative. The services are great but what makes this location above and beyond better is the staff. I feel like there is genuine caring and love for my dad, which is such a good feeling after a few bad experiences in rehab. I'm not sure if all Brookdales are this good but West Eisenhower location is pretty amazing.

We cannot rate the activities because our loved one has not participate in them. However, what we like the most about the Brookdale Austintown community is the people that work there. The staff members are really great. I feel like they really get to know our loved one and so far have taken good care of her.

Everyone that works at Brookdale Brookhurst is kind and helpful. It has been a great transition experience for my parents. They tell me every time I talk to them how great the food is. Thankful for this place for my parents to spend their last years. We have already recommend this community to other families based on our experience and we will continue to do so.

All categories above get 5/5 stars. The main reason we chose Brookdale Chanate over other places we initially looked into was because of the hospitality of the staff as well as the residents. They have a perfect staff and a very welcoming community, my mom loves it there!

My mom required probably more care than most other residents. The Brookdale staff was very accommodating with her needs. I would recommend Brookdale Liverpool for those looking into assisted living for their loved ones.

I toured this facility yesterday and was well impressed! The common rooms and private rooms well maintained and not at all "institutional". More importantly, the caretakers were all very friendly; not all rushed in their duties and seemed to know the residents by name. I was told that the retention rate for the staff was exemplary. They never contract employees from outside agencies and UNC nursing students are regularly employed there...no burnout here, just lots of enthusiasm, I would imagine. I highly recommend looking into Brookdale Meadowmont for your elders needing assisted living or memory care.

Comprehensive tour, including outdoor areas. Introduced to many residents and staff which was pleasant.

This place is perfect. They support my wives dignity while effective stimulation with caring caregivers. The activity program is unparalleled with creativity. [name removed] creatives and administers the program. She makes valuable observations. [name removed] and [name removed] nurses are solid!

I stopped by Brookdale PGI last November to donate some jigsaw puzzles; while handing over the donation, I asked if they needed volunteers. The team was extremely friendly and made me feel so welcome that I became a volunteer a week later. It is now the next summer and the residents have become so dear to me that I consider them my friends! If I do not get to visit them for a week or two, I truly miss them. They have so many diverse backgrounds and interests - we keep each other entertained by simply enjoying conversations or joining in on planned activities. I treasure my time at Brookdale and can honestly say the folks that work there truly care about these residents. It is a beautiful thing! If and when my mom needs to move to an assisted living facility, I can only hope we find her a place like Brookdale PGI!

Very well maintained and clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for senior housing. We picked this community, because of the particularly good food and it is clean.

The staff was amazing! We met with 3 different people from the facility on the day of our tour. We met with the director, the nurse and the office personnel that gave us our tour. They were all amazing! Very knowledgeable about Alzheimer's affect on the brain and people emotionally. They were willing to take the time with us to answer all of our questions. They explained pricing and all costs up front, I didn't feel like anything was being hidden or new fees would come up. The entire staff was super friendly and willing to stop and talk with us. The facility seemed well kept and clean. The showers were set up nicely, along with the laundry room. They had ample room for family to come and spend time with their loved ones. They have a separate country kitchen that you can request to use for a family get together. I 100% would recommend this facility. From the moment you walk into the building, it just has an amazing feel to it! It feels like home!
