Brookdale

My family and loved one are enjoying our experience with Brookdale. They have provided a warm and loving place for our loved one. Our loved one is well cared for by the wonderful staff and they provided excellent communication to the family anytime we have questions, concerns, or suggestions. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.

I recently visited Brookdale High Point North when my brother and I were in search of a new home for our aging mother. The facility was light and bright, and very clean! The Sales Manager was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and very kind. During our tour of the facility her care and regard for the residents was evident. Everyone I encountered seemed quite pleasant and friendly. I would recommend looking into Brookdale High Point North to anyone who wants or needs to move into an Assisted Living Community.

My loved one has been happy. They are very accomodating. There is plenty to eat, and they offer snacks. They have gone above and beyond to cook my loved ones food the way that he likes it, although the food could use more flavor. We did get a really good deal, so it is affordable. We have been pleased with the staff, and cleanliness of the facility.

I think they do a great job dealing with the dementia and I think my father-in-law is in the best place for him. [name removed] was wonderful & full of information & help as we made the transition. They have been very welcoming to us as a family, which makes it really nice for visits. I love the food, even though my father in law says he can't always taste it very well. They have had some staff turnover which makes it hard for continuity of care, and we've had some issues around his bladder (first they were insisting he wear disposable underwear when he didn't need it, then when he did need it they were laundering it instead of disposing) & some issues with laundry not being done in a timely fashion (esp his sheets) but overall I feel like he's in a safe & caring atmosphere.

I have my mom here and the staff here is so sweet and endearing. They take the time to spend extra time with residents that are new or just need some extra TLC. The staff really does go above and beyond to help any way that they can. The facility is clean and they are constantly working on ways to give it a fresh look. Mom really enjoys having activities available for times that she doesn't want to be in a larger group. They make moms nails look beautiful so that I don't have to take her out to get them done. And lets not forget how much fun the residents have getting to play bingo on Sundays (I've observed this several Sundays). Love their activities gal on the weekends.

It was a wonderful experience. I would say that the care was incredible and the admission process was such a comforting experience during a very stressful time that I actually cried in relief to know there was place my step-dad would be cared for as though he was their family. They asked about who he was to cater to his personality and life experience as well as his diagnosis. I couldn't be happier with the level of compassion shown from staff. Communication was excellent. I was always made aware when any changes occurred and taken care of with questions that I had. They were personable and seemed great at making a quick connection with my step-dad. Often I'd see his ornery smile when he was interacting with staff.

Very friendly staff who care about the residents, and work to help them adjust to living there. Very nice rooms, with a lot of space and storage. Business office very helpful with insurance requirements. Mom really enjoys the food.

Aids were very kind and helpful to my mother. Always there when she needed help. Staff ( at the time) were always helpful too. My mother so wishes she could be there, but unfortunately she needs 24/7 care and is receiving that now where she is.

This is a wonderful community. The staff is exceptional and the care goes with that as well - exceptional. There are plenty of activities for residents. My friend was never bored!! There is a shuttle available for residents for nearby shopping and dining. Also an indoor pool! I would highly recommend visiting - you will love it.

I liked the community very much. It was a bit more expensive based on my loved one's income. If all things were equal, I would have considered it as the location is much better for me.

Friendly, competent staff. I like that the community is a relatively smaller community that allows appropriate staff to resident ratio.

The facility is beautifully maintained. There are no odd odors. I know that sounds weird, but some of the other facilities I toured just smelled musty. The housekeeping of my loved one's room is wonderful. He has to use depends, so they make sure they take his trash out every morning. The staff is amazing. Not only do they take excellent care of my loved one during the initial visits and drop off, they also took care of us! The food is delicious. And you can even eat with your loved one anytime you want. There are snacks during the day and so many fun activities. Even though my loved one is in Memory Care, they have some thing for them to do every day. I cannot recommend Brookdale Desert Ridge enough. I feel so fortunate that we found them.

From the get go, the staff was on their toes. Everyone had a job to do, and the ease with which we were able to move our friend into a room was seamless. There was compassion in their agenda.

We had a great experience with the staff and the facility. My mother was only there a few months, but the communication and interaction was excellent then. I would recommend to other families.

We toured Brookdale Grand Blanc and it was a great tour and great facility! The cleanliness, atmosphere, friendliness, and staff were all great. We really liked this facility.

As all aspects were great, our loved couldn't stay unfortunately as she has declined and now is requiring more care - but we have nothing but good things to say about Brookdale Clinton. Based on our experience we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

Brookdale Madison West is a nice place. Good care and good management. Quiet atmosphere. Decent food. Happy residents. Usual price. Nice room. Good activities. Helpful, friendly staff. Nurse on duty.

What we really like about Brookdale Valparaiso is the friendliness of the staff, and how clean the community is. Our loved one really likes the food and they have very good nurses that keep us up to date on any issues regarding our loved one. I have a close friend who's a lawyer and does a lot of elder care work and have told him Brookdale comes highly recommended

We're very pleased with Brookdale. The administrative staff, and nursing staff are very helpful and caring. The communication is above average! We would give Brookdale the highest recommendation! The Activities Director always has a full day planned for the residents. The different activities are trvia, shopping, movie Monday and Friday Flix, bowling and bingo to name a few. Snacks in the community room every day in the afternoon, between lunch and dinner.

The Brookdale Skyline community is all good!! Everybody here is exceptionally friendly and helpful! You bet I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience I have had so far.
