Brookdale

Based off of what we saw during our tour at Brookdale Chambrel Pinecastle, everything seemed good. The staff were very friendly and courteous. It is hard to tell how things will be until you actually move in. They offered a lot of great amenities.

We had a great tour experience with Brookdale Canopy Oaks. Everything appeared to be good and they offered a lot of great services. They were very quick to reach out and responded to us in a timely manner.

When we speak with our loved one we hear all positive things about the meals and dining experience. We do think it is a really good overall value once you break everything down. Based on the experience we have had so far with Brookdale Eddy Pond East we would recommend them to other families

We are very happy with the care our mother has received. More importantly, she is happy with the manner in which she has been treated and the care she has received. She enjoys the meals and her dining experience. We appreciate the variety of activities offered with something for everyone at various times during the week. We are very thankful that Brookdale Rock Springs was shown to us as a possible place for our mom! Many thanks to the staff for everything they have done!

Community is beautiful and well maintained. Staff is warm and friendly, always willing to assist in any way they can. I visited a lot of facilities and would definitely consider if in need of an Assisted Living community.

We love it and are very happy with our choice. I love the girls who care for my mom. Everybody is very nice. They show concern for me, and they show concern for my mom. They really know who she is and pay attention to her, which is major. I did not want her getting lost in the crowd, and that certainly has not happened at Brookdale. They always have activities going on and are always trying to include her. And the cost is about average compared to other places in the area.

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The food looks really good. They offer tons of activities, although my loved one does not really participate much. We picked this community because, we were reffered by someone else. My advice to other families, is to go take a look at the community, it is beautiful.

What sticks out most about Brookdale Midlothian is that the staff is responsive to us when we reach out to them with questions etc. They have been been accommodating and helpful in making the adjustment to assisted living easier for our family member.

We had a good tour at Brookdale Biloxi. The staff were really nice, and they came in on a Sunday for me. Everybody was very friendly and open. It just wasn’t the right fit. The rooms were darker and looked more like a hospital. And the cost was more. But they did a really great job with the tour.

We are proud to have found Brookdale Roseburg for our Mother Alta Adams. It has giving us a reliable home for her and great peace of mind for us. I highly recommend this living environment for all family members who suffer from Alzheimer’s or any other form of dementia. Thank you Again [name removed], [name removed]& your devoted team;

They were very kind. It was just a very nice place for mom to be, getting some extra care. I would have no qualms about recommending them at all.

I have been telling others that this is the best community around and we have had an excellent experience. The staff are taking great care of my loved one, who has declined quickly. They are doing everything to keep me updated. Also, they are keeping great watch over and providing wonderful care for my loved one. There are three meals a day and snacks for the residents. They use fresh veggies from the garden. The food is very nutritious for the residents as well.

I really like Brookdale Dowlen Oaks, we have been very pleased with our experience there so far.

This facility is fairly small and the staff all knows my loved one and our family members by name. Housekeeping does a great job, his bed is always made and his room is always clean. He's very well taken care of here. The staff is just great and we're very pleased with them. Communication with the family is very good. It's an older facility, but always smells and looks clean. I would recommend them to friends and family.

What really stuck out about Brookdale Southfield was how friendly and caring the staff were, they were very helpful all the way up until my loved one passed away. The facility was also very clean and the floorplan worked out well for us. It was a very quiet community. I would recommend this facility to others and already have.

I would highly recommend this community. They have been so helpful and caring during one of the most difficult times of my life. I have come to know several of the caretakers over the past 2 months that mom has been there. The workers truly care for the residents and think of them as family. Everyone has been willing to help with any questions or concerns, across all employees from maintenance, the cook and caretakers. I truly feel mom is in a safe, loving environment and makes me relieved to know she is safe. They tailor activities and events around the residents needs. Mom is enjoying having so many caring people around her and loves the activities that are so beneficial for her.

I've talked with several of the administrators, and they are always eager to help. They call and check on me and make sure I don't need anything or have any issues. Tom Sawyer, their admissions person, as well as the nurse, Amanda, have been my main contacts. They keep me up-to-date on everything. I get emails all the time with updates, as well as letters in the mail letting me know what's happening. Overall they've been great. My loved one is making friends, and I like that there are plenty of areas for the residents to walk around the facility securely, indoors and outdoors. At other memory care places that we toured, we didn't find there was as much opportunity for unsupervised walking.

We were very happy with Brookdale Grand Blanc Memory Care. I think people should know this about A Place for Mom: I was not happy with how all that took place. I called and was told I'd be given information on different facilities I could check into, but I was not told my information was being given to these facilities and that I'd immediately get phone calls left and right. I was trying to get placement for my father, while receiving all these phone calls. I felt like that was very misleading, that I was not told that up front. I continued to get phone calls up until a week ago and he passed in July. My advisor gave me information on areas I was not even interested in, I told her a specific city, but received calls from other areas.

This community is wonderful. They're eager to respond to complaints and fix things/make changes. Overall, it's comfortable and beautiful. Good communication with the family. I've heard no complaints about anything from mom so far. The staff is friendly. The food is good quality and variety. They do offer activities, but cancel often if there aren't enough participants. I wish they would still do them for those who want to participate. Housekeeping is once a week and they do a good job. I would recommend them to family and friends.

The staff is friendly and they do have lots of activities. There are times that their response time can be slow when taking care of issues in the apartment..
